Description: 33entrepreneurs is a Startup Accelerator and a global VC, focusing on tech startups disrupting
the Wine&Spirits, Food and Travel industries.
Opportunity: 3 months acceleration program starting from February 1, 2016 with âŹ15,000 upfront investment and up to
âŹ500,000 optional cash re-investment after graduation

5. IFITT Awards 2016
Description: The International Federation for Information Technology and Travel & Tourism (IFITT) is pleased to announce that it
will sponsor a series of awards to be presented at the ENTER 2016 eTourism conference, which will be held during February 2-5,
2016 in Bilbao, Spain.
Startups might get in Outstanding Industry Contribution Award for Small Enterprises. This award will be presented at the ENTER
2016 conference. A small enterprise is defined as one with less than 50 employees and less than âŹ10 million turnover. The award
will recognize companies/organizations that have made a significant contribution, by providing digital solutions, to the growth
and success of technology adoption, integration, or use in the hospitality and tourism industry. There are two categories for this
award: one for Startup Enterprise (defined as a company established in the last three years) and another for Established
Enterprise (defined as one more than three years old).
Opportunity: Depending upon the number and merits of the nominated organizations, the IFITT Board may select up to three
winning organizations (ranked first, second, and third, respectively) within each category, and might request inputs by the IFITT
community. The award for the first place in each category includes an award trophy, a certificate, an acknowledgement on the
IFITT and ENTER websites, and corporate IFITT membership for one year. The second and third place winners will receive a
certificate, an acknowledgement on the IFITT and ENTER websites, and a corporate IFITT membership for one year.
Location: Award winner should be present at Enter 2016 conference in Bilbao in February 2-5, 2016.

7. SeedstarsWorld
Description: SeedstarsWorld runs worldwide competition for startups working on emerging markets and planning global
expansion. In 2015 itâs held in 54 cities all over the world. SeedstarsWorld also runs track for travel startups in partnership with
Lastminute.com
Opportunity: The winner of local pitching competition gets opportunity to travel to Switzerland to the final event to compete for
$500k. investment from SeedstarsWorld with other local winners. Top-10 best travel startups also get chance to compete for
investment from Lastminute.com.
Location: Local pitching events in 54 cities, Final event â March 3, 2016, Lausanne, Switzerland
Application Deadline: Local events applications usually close 2 weeks before the event. Local events were held already in most
of the participating cities, but there are still opportunities to participate in some October â December events. Or check the

8. Description: The Google for Entrepreneurs Exchange program at AstroLabs Dubai will introduce participating
startups to the key leaders in the sector and offer practical training modules from mentors working on the
most exciting projects in the field.
Opportunity: 1 week free educational program for selected travel startups with transportation and
accommodation covered as well. Program starts on December 6 and ends on December 11, 2015.

9. Description: Matt Zito runs virtual incubator for travel technology startups with a focus on mobile travel
technology. B2B, business intelligence, business analytics, big data, e-commerce, infrastructure, distribution,
travel management, airports. B2C leisure travel, business travel, hotel, air, ground services, destination, tours
and activities, advertising, marketing and video.
Opportunity: Each startup accepted into the program will receive $25,000 in cash and professional advisement
services valued at $25,000 over 4-6 months.
