My main research interests are in the fields of deep learning and optimization. I want the DL models to operate more efficiently, derive results in a short time, easily expandable, and be applied to various H/W platforms. We need DL models that reduce the computational overload without incurring significant loss in accuracy. This poses many deep and fascinating engineering problems: How can we implement with flexible and fastest code for DL operations for each H/W platform? How can we choose the right sized model or input size for their application based on the constraints of the problem?
