5. Alat gerak hewan darat
Alat gerak hewan darat
Alat gerak hewan darat dapat berupa kaki, atau otot perut.
Kaki digunakan untuk melompat, berjalan atau berlari.
Hewan yang bergerak dengan kaki adalah Arthropoda (hewan beruas,
seperti laba-laba dan kepiting), Amphibia (katak, salamander), Reptilia
(hewan melata seperti kadal,ular) Aves (burung) ketika di darat
Mamalia (hewan menyusui seperti sapi dan kuda).
Mekanismenya
Kaki digerakkan dengan meregangkan (kontraksi) dan melemaskan
(relaksasi) otot di kaki untuk mengangkat dan memindahkan kaki ke
depan atau ke samping.
Otot perut digunakan sebagai alat gerak oleh hewan darat tidak berkaki
seperti ular dan siput (Gastropoda). Pada hewan-hewan ini, otot perutlah
yang mengalami peregangan dan pelemasan, untuk mendorong hewan
darat ke depan.
6. Ciri-ciri rangka hewan mamalia
Contoh hewan mamalia adalah sapi, banteng kuda, kijang, harimau,
paus, Mamalia ada yang hidup di darat, udara, dan juga air.
Karakteristik atau ciri rangka dari hewan mamalia
1. memiliki tulang yang kokoh dan kuat untuk menopang tubuhnya.
2. Ototnya elastis, ramping dan kuat .
3. memiliki sendi-sendi yang kuat untuk mempermudah geraknya
( dapat bergerak dengan lincah..
Sehingga hewan seperti kuda dapat berlari dengan sangat cepat atau
kencang. Kijang dan Harimau memiliki bentuk kaki yang ramping dan
mampu menyimpan elastisitas tinggi yang mengakibatkan saat berlari
kijang dan harimau sering melompat dan meluncur diudara.
Gaya gesek udara jauh lebih kecil dari pada gaya gesek permukaan tanah
membuat kijang dapat berlari dengan kecepatan yang lebih tinggi dari pada
kuda
7. Alat gerak hewan udara
Hewan udara dapat bergerak dengan sayap.
Sayap ini dapat terbuat dari membran kulit, seperti pada kelelawar, atau terbuat
dari lapisan bulu, seperti pada burung.
Sayap burung tersusun atas kerangka yang kuat dan ringan serta otot yang kuat.
Hewan udara bergerak dengan mengepakkan sayapnya , saat sayap
dikepakkan, sayap memberikan gaya aksi terhadap udara dibawah sayap
sehingga udara akan mengalir ke bawah
Pada burung kepakan sayap ini digerakkan oleh otot terbang yang melekat pada
tulang dada.
Hewan udara dapat terbang karena memanfaatkan reaksi dari udara ketika
burung mengepakkan sayapnya, untuk membuat gaya angkat melawan
gravitasi.
8. Alat gerak hewan air
Alat gerak hewan air adalah sirip.
Ikan bergerak di air dengan cara berenang
Air memiliki kerapatan dan gaya angkat yang lebih besar dibanding dengan
massa jenis ikan, inil menyebabkan ikan dapat melayang di dalam air dan
dengan energi yang sedikit saja ikan bisa bergerak.
Selain karena massa jenis ikan yang lebih kecil dibanding dengan
lingkungannya, bentuk tubuh ikan juga mempengaruhi kemampuan ikan untuk
bergerak. Hal ini dikarenakan ikan memiliki bentuk tubuh yang aerodinamis
(streamline) untuk mengurangi hambatan ketika bergerak didalam air,
sehingga ikan mudah bergerak di dalam air.
Tubuh ikan dilengkapi dengan otot dan tulang belakang yang fleksibel untuk
mendorong ekor dan sirip ikan di dalam air. Dimana, sirip samping dan sirip ekor
yang lebar bisa berfungsi membantu mendorong gerakan ikan ke depan,
sehingga ikan akan bergerak lebih cepat
9. Bagaimana dengan cumi-cumi
Beberapa hewan seperti gurita dan cumi-cumi tidak bergerak dengan
sirip, tetapi dengan propulsi atau semprotan air. Mereka menyedot air
ke dalam kantung otot di rongga mantel yang mengelilingi tubuh
dengan cepat mengeluarkannya. Semprotan air ini mendorong maju
kedepan.
