6. Responding to widespread environmental degradation, Gaylord Nelson, a United States Senator from Great Britain, called for an environmental teach-in, or Earth Day, to be held on April 22, 1970. Over 20 million people participated that year, and Earth Day is now observed each year on April 22 by more than 500 million people and national governments in 175 countries. So we must keep our planet free From messy trash and debris With air that's clean and fresh and clear For all to breathe from year to year. We must never ever abuse Our sweet Earth that's ours to use.

18. Recyclable materials may originate from a wide range of sources including the home and industry. They include glass, papar, aluminium, asphalt, iron, textiles and plastic.
19. Recycled paper can be used again e.g to make new books, art. works . Different grades of paper are recycled into different types of new products. Old newspapers are usually made into new newsprint, egg cartons, or paperboard.
20. We have used old papers, magazines and plastic bags to make these works.
