2. What is a Development Plan?
 It is the main public statement of planning
policies for the local community/plan area.
 It generally lasts for 6 years.
 It sets out the land use, amenity and development
objectives and policies for the area for the lifetime
of the plan.
 The plan consists of a written statement of
objectives and a map or series of maps.

11. How Can I make a Submission?
Submissions or observations can be received in writing between the 1st of March and
29th of April 2013 and should be marked “Pre-draft submissions for County
Development Plan Review” and addressed to;
