74. Disease and Pest incidence-
No incidence of disease has been observed due
to unfavorable environmental conditions. The pest
susceptibility percentage range between in 5% to
10%, which shows that there is less incidence of pod
borer. The genotype like Hudalbu, Habidulla, Rebaya-
40 show high pest susceptibility % as 7%, 8% and
7.5%. The maximum genotype show pest
susceptibility less than 0%. The environment was not
favorable for pod borer for infestation due to high
temperature during pod development stage .

82. Conclusion
Temperature is a important factor for the crop- growth. Due to increase in the
temperature high heat stress obververd in the later phase of the growth which
decrease the yield and induce force maturity.Increase in temperature
significantly reduced the days to flowering, days to maturation and height.
Like highest post anthesis temperature above the 27° C contributed to decline
the number of pod, yield per plant under environment three than environment
one.
Genotype×Environment interaction and stability analysis revealed significant
differences among the genotypes for all the characters over environment
except number of clusters / plants, number of pods / clusters, number of
seeds / pods, indicating the presence of the considerable amount of genetic
variability in the experimental materials. the mean sum square for the
environment (linear) was significant to all character except number of seeds /
pods, number of pods / clusters, seed yield / plot. ET226431 had high
stability performance for the yield. ET226415,Hanma-1,Hanma-
2,ET226424,Vikrant had high stability performance towards the protein
content which is important quantitative character for pulse crop. The
genotypes Hanma-2 were most stable for maximum character under three
different environments. and also stable for terminal heat. The maximum
genotypes were stable the character days to pod initiation.

83. Based on the mean values of D2 analysis of 35 genotypes of faba bean (Vicia
faba L.) under present investigation revealed the existence of considerable
genetic diversity among them.
ENVIRONMENT 1- Hybridization between the genotypes (RFB-14) of cluster X
with (ET226414) of cluster XIV, ET226415 genotype of cluster XII with
(ET226414) of cluster XIV, HFB-1 of cluster XII with ET226414 of cluster XIV
may be exploited for development of varieties suitable for higher yield.
ENVIRONMENT 2 -Hybridization between the any one genotypes of cluster I
with (Rebaya-40) of cluster III, may be exploited for development of varieties
for higher yield.
ENVIRONMENT 3- Hybridization between the genotypes (ET226430) of
cluster X with (ET226426) of cluster XII, ET226417 genotype of cluster VIII
with (ET226430) of cluster X may be exploited for development of varieties for
higher yield. These genotypes in the most divergent clusters may be able to
take advantage of the maximum divergence under different environment.
