5. Letter of Intent to Graduate
 Minimum 300 word business letter addressed to the
graduating committee regarding accomplishment of
Anchorpoint ESLR standards. (Student will describe
at least two examples of his/her experience at ACS
meeting these expectations as well as 1 quote from a
reliable source supporting their thesis)

6. Letters of Recommendation
 Student must submit at least two letters of
recommendation from a : counselor, teacher, pastor or
employer stating reasons student should graduate
from ACS (based on GLORY expected school wide
learning results).

7. Statement of Understanding of the
Gospel of Christ
 Each student is required to write 300 words utilizing
APA style format in their own words their statement
regarding their understanding of the gospel of Christ.
(Must include at least two Bible verses to support
position)

8. Best Work Samples/ESLR indicators
 There must be a sample of the students best work samples
for each on of their core classes demonstrating
accomplishment of the expected school wide learning
results
 Core Classes include:
English
Math
Science
Social Science
 Example: Grade 9, 500 Word Five Paragraph Essay
utilizing APA style format to discuss character of Atticus
Finch

9. Horticulture Project
 Documentation of Complete Horticulture Project from
Horticulture Class:
May be documented through any of the following
means:
4 minute Video Presentation
15 Slide Power Point Presentation
500 Word five paragraph essay utilizing APA format

10. Work Experience Documentation
 Documentation of Required Hours of Service signed by
approved supervisor

 Grade 9-12 Stanford Achievement Test Scores
Must achieve grade level competency or provide
documentation of remedial work performed.
