•For infant of 1 year of age- 1/16 of 1 ratti (7.8 mg)
•Up to 2 years of age- 1/7 of 1 ratti (17.8 mg)
•At 6 years of age- 1/3 of 1 ratti (41.6)
•12 years of age- ½ of 1 ratti (62.5)
•Above 12 years of age- 125 mg.
1 ratti (seed of Abrus precatorius)= 125 mg.

5. Usage of Rasa Sindoora according to diseases.
•Nava jwara (fever of recent origin)- along with juice of
flowering Tulasi leaves (Ocimum sanctum), Ardraka swarasa
(ginger), Nagavalli swarasa (betel leaf).
•Jeerna jwara (fever of long duration)- along with decoction of
Guduchi (Tinospora cordfolia), Parpataka (Mollugo
pentifolia), and dhanyaka (coriander seeds).
•Prameha (Diabetes)- along with guduchi or with juice of raw
rhizome of Haridra (Curcuma longifolia). 2. along with Vanga
bhasma and honey.
•Piles (Haemorrhoids)- along with decoction of Hareetaki
(Terminalia chebula).

along with Ashoka (Saraca indica)

Sindoora
Long term use of Rasa Sindoora doesn’t causes any such
complications that occur due to intake of Parada or other
Non-sulphur containing combinations of Parada like Rasa
Pushpa and Rasa karpoora.
