Seasoned user experience designer and social-software designer, with years of experience as an in-house consultant at some of the Web's most well-known brands. I have directly contributed to interactive experiences and web-based communities that have reached millions of people. Of late, I have been learning and speaking about the design and architecture of online reputation systems, specifically as they impact community dynamics and user motivations. I am co-author of a book, "Building Web 2.0 Reputation Systems" (O'Reilly Media, 2010) and an infrequent speaker on reputation-related matters.
