This document summarizes a project by a team at Zhangde Primary School in Singapore to shorten canteen queues during recess. The team proposed queuing students in two rows instead of one long row at each food stall to reduce wait times. This allowed students to be served more efficiently and created space to walk around the queues. Interviews found the new system reduced wait times, made students happier, and allowed more space for movement. The principal, operations manager, and mentor were thanked for their support.
