We encouraged our schoolmates to fold a paper heart with a written note in it to their
parents/guardian. A total of 221 pupils participated in folding hearts for their parent/guardian.
Because these paper hearts contained a personal letter from the child to his/her parent/guardian, we
hoped that these paper hearts would draw them closer to one another.
Through this project, we learnt how to teach our schoolmates. We also overcame our shyness and
learnt that we can make a difference in the lives of our friends.
