The Larned Middle School library hosted a book fair with a 1950s diner theme in February. Students participated in counting contests and trivia to win prizes. The library staff sold mini root beer floats and used the proceeds to purchase books requested by teachers. The book fair was a success, bringing in $3,570 in sales and $2,037 in free books.
