3. ● Elevation Adjustment, Total capability: 90 MOA
● Weight: 30.90 oz
The first focal plane or FFP reticle design on this rifle scope allows an increase or decrease in reticle size as the magnification is
increased or decreased. The manufacturers have really taken the game up a notch by offering Hi-Lume® multi-coated lenses. The
lenses influence target resolution, making it optimal, and performance in low-light surroundings. The internal assemblies are
shockproof and vibration resistant. The SCR Mil reticle featured in this model provides extended center illumination area which
allows you engage targets at long distances in low light and shadows.

5. This scope provides exceptional accuracy for target shooters. Even though Meopta has not been a frontline contender where
optics are concerned, many consumers consider it to be a good scope at a very affordable price.

6. The latest SHV™ 3-10x42 riflescope is a great choice for Varmint hunters and target shooters with its great magnification range.
There is a choice between two reticles; the IHR (International Hunting reticle) or the MOAR reticle it gives the shooter the luxury of
adjusting the scope to their preferred shooting application. Although being lighter in weight, it still provides 90 MOA of elevation,
the same as the heavier Burris XTR II. At $900, it provides quality with affordability.
Selecting one out of the above three riflescopes was a challenging task as there were many features to take into account. The
Meopta offered good features without making a significant dent in one’s pocket. The Burris XTR and the Nightforce were at par
with their 90 MOA elevations but the Burris provides extended centre illumination which both other models did not offer. And the
fact that it is shockproof and vibration proof just ensures that you’ll get to enjoy your gadget for a very long time to come. So our
pick would be the Burris XTR II as the best riflescope for 2015.
