Sportsman, Job aspirant etc. These are sectors of work face equal amount of success and failure in
their life.
when we talk about success, its fine but at the time of failure, we need to lay more focus .
After failure often people got demotivated or they give up thinking that it was not made for them.
The point from where they need to start again is self assessment. this word may put great impact
on one's life.
3.
4. Do Your Own SWOT
• Self-analysis is perhaps one of the most complicated things. But, it plays a very
significant role in personal progress.
• The personal skills SWOT analysis will help you to learn more about you. Carrying
out a personal SWOT analysis is an important step towards finding life and career
direction. Dig deep and identify what your own contributions really are.
• The analysis entails finding out what you are good at and what you are terrible
at. SWOT is a tool for you.
• After you learn all the necessary details about yourself, you can make an effort to
make positive changes which will lead to new opportunities. Basically, SWOT
analysis provides a better picture of all pros and cons you have.
5. Make A Check List
• Making a checklist is extremely beneficial for several aspect.
• As it provides a guideline for moving ahead in our plan and also in self
assessment.
• Making checklist helps you to utilize each and every minute of your day very
promptly, which allow you to feel proud on yourself at the end of the day. So, for
self assessment making checklist proves very helpful.
6. Have a Eye On Your Daily Work
• At the beginning stage just watch-out your daily routine. Count each and every
thing-
whatever you are doing,
wherever you are going(whether that really required or not),
how much potential time you are giving to your work & how much not,
how much time you waste in unnecessary things (like gossiping,
daydreaming etc)
how long you are there in social media (like Facebook, WhatsApp etc. )
when you wake up & when you go to bed......and all other activities which
you perform during the entire day, just note all of them in note-sheet by making
two column positive/required and negative/not required.
7. Delete The Time Waster
• By having eye on our day we found out which is require and which is not. Now, its time to
eliminate the time wasters.
• which may be-
spending more time on social media
daydreaming
doing unwanted work which is not required
not focused..........
It may be anything. we just need to eliminate that one, which make our day long. So that we can
utilize that time in enhancing our quality, our ability which leads us to achieve our target.
When we fail in certain field and after that we tried to find out the reason why we get failed?
then we got the reason behind our failure is - These Time Wasters..W never think about that but
these are the main reason for our failureSo, during the Self Assessment we need to find them out
and delete or shorten from our routine.
8. Add Required Task
• After successfully eliminating the time waster we are having ample amount of
time.
• Now, we need to utilize that time in some useful thing, which lead to achieve our
target.
• Arrange that time according to your goal or what you want to get at the end of
the day.
• And don't forget it is not a one day phenomena.
9. Have Control
• Making the target, writing it on the paper, sticking that on the wall etc is not
enough.
• It often happens that our productivity reduces day by day and the reason behind
that is we'll not compare the actual with the standard.
• We should not forget that self assessment focuses on the classification of oneself
with respect to their worth.
10. conclusion
• While assessing yourself we need to be true to ourselves, we must
be aware that what we are doing and what we are not. this is self
assessment.
