A correct understanding of the power of God's Word in Creation leads to appreciating His Word's power in Redemption.
He simply spake, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast. Psalm 33:9.
The breath of God's mouth is a breath of life.
Moreover, His Spirit has the same creative power as His Word.
Therefore, His Word, which is life: The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life, John 6:63, is God-breathed - All scripture is given by inspiration of God. 2 Timothy 3:16.
Moreover, the same Word that created is the power which now preserves.

5. By the Word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the
host of them by the breath of His mouth.
He gathereth the waters of the sea together as a heap: He
layeth up the depth in storehouses.
Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the
world stand in awe of Him.
For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood
fast.
6. How were the heavens made?
In what two ways is the idea expressed?
Why is the earth to fear the Lord?
How was his great power manifested?

11. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the Word of God
the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the
water and in the water:
Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with
water, perished:
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same
Word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of
judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
12. How were the heavens of old?
Is there any need for ignorance concerning this

How are the present heavens and earth kept in
store?

23. The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those
things which are revealed belong unto us and to our
children forever. Deuteronomy 29:29.
We can only know the things which God has revealed by
believing them.
24. Thus our knowledge of these things is the result of our faith
and not our faith the result of our knowledge.
25. But my God shall supply all your needs according to His
riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19.
Moreover, we are encouraged to trust Him for our needs:
26. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ
Jesus:
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood,
to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the
forbearance of God. Romans 3:23-25.
We all have this great need - we are fallen and mortal.
28. Thou, even Thou, art Lord alone; Thou hast made heaven, the heaven of
heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein,
the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of
heaven worshippeth Thee. Nehemiah 9:6.
The same Word that created is the power which now
preserves:
29. Gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him
should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16.
For God so loved the world, that He:
30. Commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us. Romans 5:8.
Was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing
their trespasses unto them; 2 Corinthians 5:19.
Redeemed us with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb
without blemish and without spot; 1 Peter 1:19, 20.
31. Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the
world. John 1:29.
