How to Make a Field Mandatory in Odoo 17Celine George
In Odoo, making a field required can be done through both Python code and XML views. When you set the required attribute to True in Python code, it makes the field required across all views where it's used. Conversely, when you set the required attribute in XML views, it makes the field required only in the context of that particular view.
How to Fix the Import Error in the Odoo 17Celine George
An import error occurs when a program fails to import a module or library, disrupting its execution. In languages like Python, this issue arises when the specified module cannot be found or accessed, hindering the program's functionality. Resolving import errors is crucial for maintaining smooth software operation and uninterrupted development processes.

2. The Flaws Of The Titanic And The Titanic
Despite how entertaining the film Titanic actually is, it has many flaws that can be pointed out. Titanic
is a love story between a woman of the upper class and a man of the lower class. Throughout the
movie they face the difficulties of Jack (Lower class man) not being high enough stature to please the
family of Rose (upper class woman) while they sail through the ocean on a luxurious cruise ship. As
the Titanic sinks the film shows the two being together and going through the catastrophe that is the
final hours on the Titanic. In the movie, Titanic, director James Cameron used a few important actual
events that occurred in the history of The Titanic. However, there are some things that were only
added for detail, entertainment, and action in film. Real life survivors from the ship s sinking report
what is valid and incorrect in the movie.
Many things in the movie, Titanic, actually happened in the actual event. One similarity is when The
Titanic s band continued to play as the ship went under. The lead violinist realized the chaos around
him and started playing, soon to be joined by his band members. An article on the Titanic says, After
the ship struck an iceberg, Wallace Hartley assembled his eight man band, and they eventually ended
up on the Boat Deck near the entrance to the Grand Staircase. There, they played ragtime and waltzes.
( Questioning The Story ). This is reported by survivors to be a valid occurrence in the sinking of the
Titanic. Another similarity between the movie and actual event is when ice landed on the main deck of
the Titanic. When the ship hit the iceberg, huge pieces of ice fell onto the main deck. A story on the
Titanic says, Survivor William Lucas reported seeing about a couple of tons of ice on the fore well
[deck] on the starboard side of the ship. ( Questioning The Story ). Many people report seeing this
incident happen that were aboard the Titanic. The Titanic movie has many similarities to the actual
event.
The movie Titanic although, had quite a few differences from the actual event. The first difference is
how the director, James Cameron, made the movie primarily based around Jack and Rose. These were
not real people on board the Titanic. They are entirely

3. Fibromyalgia Essay
Fibromyalgia was initially thought to be a musculoskeletal syndrome since maximum of the pain was
felt in the muscles and other soft tissue. However, recent studies and research have shown that
fibromyalgia is a central nervous system ailment which causes uncharacteristic pain processing and
leads in pain amplification. The three chief symptoms that are common to virtually everybody who
struggles with fibromyalgia are pain, tiredness and sleep disorders.
Pain
Pain is typically the most prominent symptom of fibromyalgia. FM pain is chronic and widespread
affecting all four quadrants of the body, although not essentially simultaneously. Its intensity might
range from mild to deep. Fm pain tends to wander sometimes affecting one portion of the ... Show

They report having trouble getting to sleep and waking up often through the night. Studies have shown
that FM fatalities expend little time in deep sleep. Deep sleep is our body s way of dealing with and
sorting the day s events and individuals who suffer from FM are not able to get the restorative sleep
which their bodies require. This deficiency of deep sleep also has a knock on effect making the pain
occasionally worse and making the patient tired or feeling like they have a hangover the subsequent
day.
Generally, the first point of call would be a general practitioner who would more than likely refer you
to a pain management expert who will recommend a couple of courses of treatment which might
include physiotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs
(nsaids). These are identified to help with pain, irritation, swelling and stiffness. There are diverse
physiotherapies for fibromyalgia treatment in Delhi at PHYWorld including TENS therapy which aids
in relieving localized pain, tender spots and musculoskeletal pain diseases. Massage is another
wonderful option that is advantageous in promoting optimum healing by improving the circulation of
blood across the tissues to augment retrieval and offers symptomatic relief. Physiotherapy exercises

4. Principles behind the Growth Process of Thin Films
CHAPTER 2: BACKGROUND Deposition and characterization of the thin films discussed in Chapter
1 will require an understanding of many different tools and processes that are currently used in the
semiconductor industry today. This chapter will cover the principles behind the growth process, the
experimentation and the material properties. The equipment used for these processes will be discussed
in depth as well.
2.1 Equipment The equipment used in the deposition of thin films can vary widely depending on what
material is being grown. Different deposition techniques affect different material properties, such as:
index of refraction, surface roughness, crystallinity, film quality and many others [VLSI, Seshan]. The
two main techniques are physical vapor deposition (PVD) and chemical vapor deposition (CVD).
These techniques are used for different materials and different processes and CVD is the deposition
technique this thesis focuses on. These techniques are implemented in different deposition systems
with many different features and they have a wide range of applications. After the material is grown,
the parameters of the material need to be characterized. This requires a complete understanding of the
tools which are being operated. Different tools are necessary to determine the different important
parameters of a material such as: reactive ion etchers, ellipsometers, atomic force microscopes, and x
ray diffraction spectroscopes. An inductively coupled plasma reactive ion

Ambidexterity Amongst Students and Athletes MATH 141 (Prof. An) Final Project December 2015
Romeo Ardimento, Lorraine Jabouin, Christopher Kremer, Fiona Macleod Introduction/Background
Being Ambidextrous can be quite useful; particularly for athletes and musicians. Many sports require
the use of both hands, as do many instruments. For this reason our team decided to determine the
difference in ambidexterity, if any, between people who are either athletes or musicians, and
individuals who are not involved in either sports or music. We were interested in determining if the
ability of participants to use their weak hand as well as their dominant hand is associated with
participation in athletics or music. Does an individual s participation in either a sport or the fact that
they play a musical instrument dictate how well they can use both hands? Methodology We decided
that the best way to answer this question would be with a study. Our participants would be made up of
60 students. These participants would be made up of three equally divided identity groups. 20 athletes,
20 musicians, and 20 individuals who do not participate in sports or play an instrument (who from this
point on will be referred to as the neither group). Those identified as athletes had to have had been on
a Varsity team and those who were identified as musicians had to have been playing their instrument
for more than two years. Individuals who fell into both categories were excluded. Participants were

8. The Battle Against The War On Terrorism
What Now? An analysis of the responses to the Senate Report on CIA Interrogation
The fight against the war on terrorism has initiated a debate in the United States over the use of torture
and advanced interrogation techniques to extract information needed to protect the safety of its
citizens. In lieu of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, government officials believed that using extensive force
against suspected is justified, especially if such force results in the prevention of future planned
attacks. Others reject torture and the methods used by the government agencies, especially the CIA, as
both unreliable and an affront to legal and civilized norms of behavior. In December of 2014, The
Senate Intelligence Committee Report on CIA torture, drafted by the bipartisan United States Select
Committee on Intelligence, brought light to the controversy by unearthing the methods and techniques
used to interrogate detainees, prisoners of war, and suspected terrorists. The findings have ignited
strong opposition and outcry among the citizens, critics of the government, and foreign nations. The
aftermath of this report have prompted two important questions: Should the CIA be held responsible
for its actions and face investigations, prosecution, and full legal action or should the CIA have the
ability to act and determine policies they seem fit to protect the U.S. from any threats and outside
forces?

Monetary and fiscal policy and their applications to the third world countries with a huge informal

This essay seeks to explain what are monetary and fiscal policy and their roles and contribution to the
economy. This includes the role of the government in regulating the economical performance of a
country. It also explains the different features and tools of monetary and fiscal policy and their
performance when applied to the third world countries with a huge informal sector.
Monetary Policy
Monetary policy is the mechanism of a country s monetary authority (usually the central bank) taking
up measures to regulate the supply of money and the rates of interest. It involves controlling money in
the economy to promote economic ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This involves buying or selling financial instruments like bonds in exchange of money to be deposited
with the central bank. By selling the financial instruments, the central bank mops up the cash in
circulation. On the other hand, selling injects money thus increasing the supply of money (Bernanke
2006).
Interest rates
By increasing or reducing the nominal interest rates, the money supply is either increased or reduced.
When the rate goes up, people are not able to borrow, thus the money does not enter into circulation.
But when the rates go down, people borrow in big numbers therefore increasing the money supply. So
the monetary authority just needs to adjust the interest rates either upwards or downwards, and in
direct results will be reflected on the money on circulation. Discount window lending
This is the situation where the commercial banks and other lending institutions borrow from the
central bank at lower interest rates compared to how they will lend. This gives the institution a chance
to vary credit conditions depending on the central bank lending rates. If the central bank raises its
lending rates, then the other lending institutions will have to raise their rates too, thus discouraging the
public from borrowing. But if the central bank lowers its rate, then commercial banks and other
institutions will be forced to lower their rates too. This will encourage the

Similarities and Differences in the Rise of the Roman and Mayan Civilizations
Between 600 BCE and 600 CE, the Mayan Civilization in Mesoamerica and the Roman Civilization
rose to the height of their power. Rome was rapidly growing as a Republic and then Empire, creating a
legacy throughout Europe and Asia that would leave a lasting impact for centuries. The Empire
conquered land by use of political force, religious unity, and maintaining power through a strong
economy. The Mayans were heavily based around religion. It was used as a motivation to expand their
civilization, gaining political power and a strong economy. However, they were not considered an

The Mayan political system was divided into city states, where each had their own government,
similarly to Ancient Greece. During the rise of the civilization, a social hierarchy was created, with
religious figures and priests at the top granting them political power. This allowed for society to be
dominated by religion, and for political figures to use religion to monopolize power and support. The
Mayans expanded their civilization to gain more human sacrifices, or in the name of their religion,
opposed to the Romans who expanded for political power. However, the Romans had very centralized
systems of government. During the rise of the Republic, the new ideology of democracy and the
defeat of the Persian Empire in the Persian War allowed for a societal belief in a strong government to
rise. The Roman people believed that they have a strong centralized government, and people became
increasingly greedy for power. Change occurred in Roman political power during the rise of the
Empire. When Alexander the Great expanded the Roman Empire to the height of its political control
by conquering nations throughout Europe and Asia, the greed for power is evident. The centralization
of the Roman government allowed for expansion of the Empire through economic and religious
growth, monopolizing control of trade throughout its territory and spreading religious ideology
through the enforced religious unity and the Hellenistic

John Yu
Meyer
AP Chem
9 October, 2016
In this experiment, hot water was mixed with room temperature water in a calorimeter to calculate the
specific heat capacity of the calorimeter. The specific heat of the calorimeter was then used to find the
enthalpy of sodium hydroxide and hydrochloric acid, ammonia and hydrochloric acid, and ammonium
chloride and sodium hydroxide by mixing each, respectively, into the beaker after each other. The
beaker was washed with distilled water after each reaction. The enthalpy of sodium hydroxide and
hydrochloric acid and ammonia and hydrochloric acid were subtracted together to calculate the
enthalpy of ammonium chloride and sodium hydroxide to prove Hess Law.
The lab errors that occurred in this lab would be the heat escaping while the reactants were being
added to the calorimeter because there is an opening and way for the heat to escape in that moment.
This caused the reaction to lose heat and energy to the lab and cause the reaction to report less energy
than there should be. Also, some of the heat was lost from the calorimeter because no perfect
calorimeter can exist. This caused the reaction to lose energy as well. The reactants have not ... Show

Clinical psychologist and writer, Kay Redfield Jamison once said, I think one thing is that anybody

symbolizing the fact that her disease is keeping her at bay and keeping her locked in, or unable to get
better, whereas during the daytime, the exterior part is normal. This relates to how at times her disease
is calm and controlled and other times, it flares up and completely controls her. The pattern is also

17. How Did Friar Lawrence Learned In Romeo And Juliet
In the famous story of Romeo and Juliet, not only was William Shakespeare trying to show his
audience that parents shouldn t try and control their children s hearts, but he was also trying to teach a
deeper lesson. This lesson was that good intentions can turn bad and that bad intention can have good
to them. Moreover, the lesson was trying to show that even villains can be good and heroes can be
bad. Overall, Shakespeare s true lesson in Romeo and Juliet is that good things can turn bad if
misapplied. Shakespeare teaches this lesson through the characters of the story. The main character
that shows the audience the lesson is Friar Laurence. The reason it is Friar Laurence is that during his
speech in act 2 scene 3 he actually says the lesson. He said, Virtue itself turns vice, being misapplied,
And vice sometime s by action dignified. (Romeo and Juliet 2.3:21 22.) What Friar Laurence meant
by this statement was that something good can turn bad if misapplied and that things can be both good
and bad.Shakespeare then supported this lesson by having Friar Laurence tell some real life examples.
Friar Laurence stated, Within the infant rind of this small flower Poison hath residence, and medicine
power; For this, being smelt, with that part cheers each part; Being tasted, slays all senses with the
heart. (Romeo and Juliet 2.3:23 26.) This example proves that things such as a flower can be good and

The Indians had never before encountered people of a different culture. Although the two parties were
of the same species, they were vastly different in language, clothing, technology, and lifestyle. When
the Spaniards first arrived, they were unthreatened by the Indians and looked at them with a strong
sense of condescension. The Indians, on the other hand, welcomed these strangers and bestowed
generous gifts upon them. The Spanish thought the Indians were foolish and were not as generous in
their reciprocation of such gifts. However as the encounter progressed, the Spaniards became more
threatened by the Indians. Because of this, they antagonize the entire race of people. They believe they
are all evil and less human. They respond to their actions with great violence and contempt, while
stripping the Indians of their dignity. The Indians, in turn, react defensively, also with violence
(Todorov). After decades of conflict, the exchange ultimately results in the complete genocide of the
Indian population. In this particular encounter, there exists two parties, both of the same species but
with great differences. There is also one party, the Spaniards, aware of the others existence and that
actively pursued this encounter. The Indians, however, were unaware that other societies and worlds
existed beyond their own and were sabotaged by the surprise arrival of the Europeans. The
conquistadors had previous encounters with other people different from their own. From these prior
experiences, they had expectations to come to America and use its resources and people to their own
advantage. They had also already established through previous endeavors, that groups and races of
people different from their own could not be seen as equals. They identify these groups as Others, that
are inferior and less intelligent (Todorov). This already creates a dilemma referred to as the double
movement. If Columbus and the Europeans sought

20. Hamlet And Ophelia Essay
Hamlet becomes corrupted by his greed for the crown, affecting not just his relationships with his
friends and his mother, but seems to spread it like a disease to Ophelia. As the play begins and both
Hamlet and Ophelia are introduced in their own times, the personalities and mannerisms of the two
seem to be clear. However, as the play progresses, events cause these appearances to blur and change.
The play begins with Prince Hamlet having just arrived back in Denmark after the sudden death of his
father, the king. After his encounter with the ghost, where Hamlet informs his friends who told him
about the ghost that he may at times feel that it is meet to put an antic disposition on , in order to be

Ophelia would have been educated in music as a noble lady of the court, for her to perform in front of

Hamlet to act as a common entertainer it would be just as terrible if not worse for a noble lady, such as

Because Meijer s is supposedly a big store, I made some tips for you! The first store is that Meijer s is
not big, just busy. These tips are important so please highlight and re read if necessary. First, all
around the store, there are red and black phones. The black is for employees, the red ones, are for
YOU. Almost every store is different depending on the location, for example in Ohio, or in Grand
Rapids Michigan. So, if you ask your greeter where a map is of the store you can see the different
departments, this is important because there are at least three red phones in each department, as well
as SOME price scan stations. Red phones help organize your questions to the specific departments, for
example if you want a fishing license, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Leave your carts, NOT YOUR PERSONALS, but your carts with the greeter. Take the kids, or leave
your amigo, electric cart, with the greeter, grab your walker and then pee. Many vendors come in the
store, to fill ice or stock bread, or even give you free samples, they may be wearing uniforms, but,
THEY DON T WORK FOR MEIJER S. Refrain from asking where the butter is, but you can ask for
recipes! If you see a mess, don t ask them to clean it, use a red phone in your area or ask the person in
that department, this is important because we are a busy store. And we wouldn t want to be taking care
of a mess in grocery when we are supposed to be organizing the flowers, right? Onto complaints, the
best way to complain is to a store director, a cashier, or to customer service. It is why we have it,
among other things, to be honest we all care about your complaints, but it is better from your mouth
than ours. Fast lanes, there are ALWAYS, ALWAYS, at most three employees working the fast lanes.
LOOK AROUND, if your machine is malfunctioning, or you need then to check an ID, be patient and
wait. Don t ask someone passing by, or even the greeters, just wait, their coming. The final big two
tips, in general, are amigos and blue carts. Where do I start, treat Meijer s with respect, please, don t

23. Winesburg Character Analysis
Winesburg, Ohio by Sherwood Anderson; is a collection of short stories reproducing the town of many
grotesques . Anderson defines the term grotesque as being a person that took one of the truths to
himself, call it his own truth, and tried to live his life by it (Anderson, 3). In the book, each story is
about a grotesque character, including Wash Williams in the story Respectability . Williams is the
worst grotesque in the book. Specifically, the worst grotesque is a person who has become obsessed
with an idea or feeling and cannot accept a different opinion. Wash Williams is the worst grotesque,
because from what happened to him, his feelings towards change. He became violent, he forces his
opinions on others, and it seems to be unable to change his beliefs.
In Respectability , Wash Williams is an ugly, miserable man with no friends. Anderson describes him
as a huge ugly kind of ugly monkey, a creature with ugly sagging hairless skin below his eyes, and a
bright purple underbody. (Anderson, 68).Williams was the best operator in Ohio, but after what

24. Doctor Faustus Analysis
Humanism and Free Will in Christopher Marlowe s Doctor Faustus
Christopher Marlowe was a deeply complex and provocative writer. In his short life he became one of
the most prolific tragedists of the Elizabethan era and produced several famous works, including the at
time controversial The Tragical History of Doctor Faustus. Scholars have since attempted to unfurl the
meaning of this tragic play but not without difficulty. Some have claimed that Faustus is a humanist
work, but whether or not Marlowe intended it as a positive representation is up for debate: in his
Analysis of Desire and Humanism in Christopher Marlowe s Tragedies, Zhao Yonggang claims that
Christopher Marlowe wrote Doctor Faustus as a promotion of humanist philosophy; however, Caitlyn
Larracey argues in Renaissance Drama and Magic: Humanism and Hermeticism in Early Modern
England that despite Marlowe s humanist themes in his works, Faustus is instead a critique of
Christian humanism. Upon a closer examination of the Marlowe s own life, the Elizabethan era, and
the play itself, it is clear that Doctor Faustus serves as a cautionary tale: an example of humanist
philosophy and free will gone awry.
The Tragical History of Doctor Faustus is the story of one Doctor Faustus who, having become bored
of his life and his studies, takes up the dark arts and sells his soul to Satan. This new hobby spirals into
an obsession and an addiction that ultimately causes him to turn his back on God and damn himself
for eternity. He did this by no plan of God for, in the end, he is not forgiven by God, and instead
perishes but by his own free will. Marlowe wrote Doctor Faustus around 1606 in Elizabethan England.
The stage was already set for Marlowe: England at the time was filled with religious strife and
superstition as well as a hotbed for the theatrical arts (Greenblatt and Logan, 375). This emergence of
popular theatre in England was met with its fair share of criticism and skepticism. Not only was it seen
as a distraction from work and productivity it was also seen as blasphemous:
Moralists warned that the theaters were nests of sedition, and religious polemicists, especially
Puritans, obsessively focusing on the use of boy actors to play the

25. Nazi Propaganda Was A Well Know Thing During The Holocaust
Nazi Propaganda was a well know thing during the holocaust. Hitler and Joseph Goebbels were the
ring leaders. Hitler became the German chancellor, and in March of that year he appointed Goebbels
the country s minister for public enlightenment and propaganda. Goebbels had complete jurisdiction
over the content of German newspapers, magazines, books, music, films, stage plays, radio programs
and fine arts. His mission was to censor all opposition to Hitler and present the chancellor and the
Nazi Party in the most positive light while stirring up hatred for Jewish people. Hitler was a well
supported person. Many Germans supported him for many reasons. The purpose of propaganda was to
condition and convince people, and get them to believe in the values and ideas of the Nazis.
Propaganda is well known for war posters. It is a mode of communication aimed at influencing the
attitude of a community toward some cause or position. Propaganda was used by the Nazi party in the
years leading up to and during Adolf Hitler s leadership of Germany. Propaganda was a crucial
instrument for acquiring and maintaining power. The Nazis used propaganda to increase their support
and appeal. They spent huge sums of money on newspapers, leaflets and poster campaigns with
simple slogans encouraging people to support the party.
The military style of the Nazis involved using large political rallies to gain support. These were vast,
highly organized events with banners and marching bands. The rallies

26. Examples Of Figurative Language In Catcher In The Rye
What is the author s style? In this case, Salinger s style is based on the many topics of literature,
including the three basic elements, which are diction, syntax and figurative language. The Catcher In
The Rye is a very eye catching book that talks about a young man named Holden, who got expelled
from his school, Pencey Prep. Salinger speaks through the eyes of Holden Caulfield. His style is
portrayed by showing the distinctive way he uses language compared to other authors.
In this novel, Salinger shows the diction mainly during the dialogues between the characters. The
diction of The Catcher In The Rye is informal due to the different types of colloquial used throughout
the story. An example of this colloquial diction in the book was when Stradlater told Holden to hurry
up in this way, Why don tcha? I will, in minute time. (Stradlater, p.32) We can see that Stradlater uses
a type of slang language as in don tcha. This shows the diction of the story and how it gives us a feel
for what Salinger was trying to do to catch the reader s attention.
This novel also shows us many examples of imagery and symbolism. Imagery gives us a picture of
what is happening in that scene of the story. Imagery gives the reader a realistic look of it. Symbolism
just shows an object or something in that book that represents something special to one of the
characters or even the author. These both can affect the author s style by setting the mood of the story.
In this novel, there was an

Speaking Up for the Ones Who Cannot
Animal breeding is a commonly used process all over the world, used to bring new puppies into the
world for young children and families, or farm animals for more farming production. However what
most do not know is that those animals are not always from a nice pet store or a facility that treats
their animals well. Breeding animals like dogs or farming animals in places that are illegal often times
leads to forms of abuse for them. Puppy mills often times sell dogs that went through painful
treatment and are typically sick in some way. Health Beauty Close Up interviewed some animal
organizations who says a puppy mill is, a dog breeding operation, which offers dogs for monetary
compensation or remuneration, in which the physical, psychological and/or behavioral needs of the
dogs are not being fulfilled due to inadequate housing, shelter, staffing, nutrition, socialization,
sanitation, exercise, veterinary care, and/or inappropriate breeding ( Pet Industry and Animal Welfare
Organizations Team to Address Puppy Mill Abuse ). Some farming industries end up treating their
animals bad their entire lives or not even giving them the chance at life. Breeding farm animals or
dogs in mills should be banned because of terrible living conditions, breeding being used for their
profits, and giving animals illness or causing death.

28. The Importance Of Ownership And Intangible Objects
Ownership is the act and state of having something in control or possession. Aristotle claims that
owning tangible objects help to build moral character, while Jean Paul Sartre proposes that ownership
extends beyond to include intangible things such as skill or knowledge. Different objects can have
varying effects on the development of self identity, leading us to who we grow as a person. A sense of
self can be a reflection to what we own, whether it is a tangible or not. Ownership of intangible and
tangible objects play a vital role for the growth of self identity, as it teaches crucial morals in life to
develop personal character.
Through the ownership of tangible objects, we as humans, have the ability to attain a perception of
responsibility and the development of moral character. Ownership provides a guide towards important
life lessons such as maturity and responsibility, which eventually contributes to shaping identity.
Responsibility is not a simple skill someone can learn without personal experiences: for ... Show more

associate with one another. Owning something does not specifically have to be a physical object, as
long as you can control what it is. Once I obtain skills and knowledge, no one can diminish them from

29. The Innovators Dna
The Innovators DNA
Innovation usually discusses the altering or generating more effective developments, products and
ideas, and can rise the possibility of a business get to the top. Businesses that innovate produce more
effective work methods and have better output and performance. Innovation can be a promoter for the
progression and success of your business, and help you adjust and grow in the marketplace. Being
innovative does not mean inventing; innovation can mean changing your business model and adapting
to changes in your environment to deliver better products or services. Successful innovation should be
an in built part of your business strategy, where you create a culture of innovation and lead the way in
innovative thinking and creative problem solving.
To enhance your ability to innovate and act creatively, use the same five discovery skills that compose
the DNA of disruptive innovators : associating, questioning, observing, networking and
experimenting. Associating that is, connecting ideas from disparate arenas is the most important; the
other four skills trigger associational thinking and support creativity, which lead to innovative
business ideas. Every innovator employs a different blend of these skills:
Innovators combine elements of various ideas and practices that other people don t put together. They

30. Determining The Unknown Concentration Of Cobalt (II) Solution
The goal of the experiment was to determine the unknown concentration of the provided Cobalt (II)
solution by using a spectrophotometer/colorimeter. The spectrophotometer was used on the unknown
solution to find the concentration of Cobalt (II). The concepts used from Beer Lambert s Law are the
absorbance and concentration of the tested solution. The equation is A=EbC. A equals absorbance, E is
the constant when identifying the species measuring the wavelength, b is the thickness of the solution,
and C is the concentration of the solution. E and b are both constant, which makes the concentration
and the absorbance directly proportional. Results resembled the standard curve and the connection of
absorbance and concentration was used to estimate ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Then we got then unknown Cobalt (II) solution and placed it in a cuvette to measure the light
transmittance recording it to three decimal places. Next, the unknown solution of Cobalt (II) was
placed in a 100 mL beaker and the DI water was placed in a smaller beaker to make transferring the
solutions easier. For the process of transferring each solution smoothly, a pipette will be used to place
the unknown solution and DI water into the 10 mL graduated cylinder. First, 100% of the unknown
concentration should be placed in a test tube ready to be put in the spectroscopy. Then, using a clean
pipette fill the graduated cylinder with 9 mL of the unknown solution and fill the rest with DI water
using a different clean pipette until 10 mL is reached. The concentration solution is 90%, and 10% is
the DI water which makes the new mixture. The mixture that was just made will then be poured into a
test tube that is beside the 100% concentration of the unknown solution. The process will then be
continued by pouring 8 mL unknown solution and 2 mL of DI water into the 10 mL graduated cylinder
to get 80% concentration solution; which is poured in the test tube that will be placed by the 90%
concentration test tube. Again, 7 mL of the unknown solution will be placed in the graduated cylinder
along with 3 mL of DI water, which makes 70% concentration solution and 30% DI water. The
solution will then be poured into a test tube and placed by the 80% concentration. Then, 6 mL of
Cobalt (II) unknown solution was placed with a pipette into the 10 mL graduated cylinder with 4 mL
of DI water. Which makes 60% of concentration solution and 40% DI water, and pour the new mixture

In The Help , a film directed by Tate Taylor, an aspiring journalist and novelist named Skeeter is
bothered by the treatment black maids receive from their white employers. In order to open other s
eyes to said treatment, Skeeter decides to interview numerous black women and turn their troublesome
stories and unfair pasts into a published novel. One particular black woman, whom is named Aibileen,
shares with Skeeter her journal that contains both prayers and in depth, heart wrenching stories of her
life as a maid. Though I do not have any heart wrenching stories like Aibileen does, nor do I plan to
publish an eye opening book like Skeeter did, I do have a situation on my hands that bothers me. This
particular situation slightly reminded me of The Help in the sense that I also have a journal I have
