Case Studies On Market Based Management
Entrepreneurship Organization Management
Abstract
General monetary thinking impressively impacts Market Based Management (MBM). Opportunity

thought. In any case, shouldn t something be said about focal arranging? In the Utilization of
Knowledge in Society Hayek was mindful so as to recognize focal arranging by the administration,

Dartmouth College Vs. Woodward
Dartmouth College v. Woodward (1819) Living in the 1800 s was not an easy task. This was the time
of child labor and little to no education for kids. The time of having to walk 2 3 miles anywhere and
making sure the crops were well enough to sell in the markets. The time of Westward Expansion and
the genocide of Native Americans. Eleazar Wheelock, a Puritan minister from Columbia, CT was the
one who founded Dartmouth. He initially established the school to train Native Americans as Christian
missionaries. His inspiration for the school first came about due to his relationship with a Mohegan
Indian Samson Occom. The name of the school was to be Moor s Indian Charity School and was
officially established in 1755. It was somewhat successful, but they still needed more funding in order
to maintain the schools operations. Wheelock and Occom decided to go to England in 1766 to raise
money for the school. Once they raised enough, they made a trust to help the school. The Charity
School finally had enough financial support to keep going. But Wheelock had trouble recruiting
Native Americans to attend the institution due to the location being far away from the tribal territories.
He decided to relocate the school to Hanover, in the Province of New Hampshire. Following the
relocation, it was difficult to find resources and secure a charter. Luckily, the Royal Governor of New
Hampshire, John Wentworth, provided the land that Dartmouth would be built on and issued a charter

Essay On Supply Demand And Price Elasticity
Supply, Demand, and Price Elasticity
Supply, Demand, and Price Elasticity
We use multiple products on a daily basis, from toothpaste to ink pens. Though we may use these
items for mere moments, there is a different supply and demand cycle for them. Every product has a
different supply and demand cycle, and this cycle varies throughout time. Some items may constantly
be in demand, like cotton, and others may be in demand seasonally, like eggnog. These shifts in
supply and demand may influence the price of certain products, how much of the product is available
at any given time, etc. Commodities available during only peak times throughout the year may even
be substituted with a similar item. These seasonal items are considered ... Show more content on

The production of polyester is considered as planet polluting. Another substitute would be Organic
cotton, which is pesticide free and tinted naturally. Hemp is also a good substitution for cotton.
According to the Hemp Industries Association, hemp has fewer pesticides than cotton. Cotton, when
blended with other fabrics, can be substituted for 100% cotton making it less expensive than other
fabrics like linen, wool, spandex, silks, and lycra.
Because cotton is so popular, an increase in price does not automatically mean that there will be a
decrease in the quantity demanded. Since the first choice for clothing is cotton, people will continue to
purchase clothing and there will not be an effect on the supply demanded, even with a price increase.
With essential commodities, price increases will not negatively affect the quantity demanded. Cotton
has an inelastic demand because the quantity is not affected (Elastic and Inelastic Demand).
Cotton is one of the most widely used products today. It is noted as having an inelastic demand
because of the various other products that can be used in place of it. A change in price will more than
likely have no effect on the decision to utilize its benefits, as it is present in many luxury and necessity
items. However, if pricing is changed, causing a change in demand, businesses could

Neglect And Emotional Abuse
I would strongly advise against the measure to remove neglect and emotional abuse from the
definition of maltreatment in Oregon. It is important to note that neglect is the most reported and
substantiated type of maltreatment, with 771,000 children reportedly suffering from abuse. Neglect
can take many forms, and in some cases the signs may not be clear right away. Children may be
wearing dirty clothes, or wearing summer clothes in the middle of winter. Other signs could be that the
child is hungry all the time and as a result hoards foods, and steals. Children suffering from neglect
may also have poor hygiene, or other medical issues. Parents of these children may not have the
community help necessary in order to raise a child correctly.

The Mongol Empire And The Impact Of The Mongol Empire
Revised paper proposal and bibliography
The Mongol empire was one the greatest empires of all time expanding all over Central Asia.
Bordering Chinese states, the Khwarazmian empire, present day Afghanistan, Siberia, Iran, and many
more, at its height the mongol empire was over 20,000,000 square kilometers. This was all possible
due to extraordinary men in Central Asia, ruled by Genghis khan emperor of the Mongol empire.
These Asian nomads along with their fearless and intelligent leader, flourished against numerous odds
impacting all those whom they waged war against. A recipient of this impact in particular was Russia.
It was around 1219 when the Mongols first entered the Kievan Russia marking the beginning of the
interactions of the two. With the Mongols rise in establishing one of the largest contiguous empire in
history and having Russia only distances away the collision of the two were inevitable. As history
shows this collision did happen in the year 1236 which marked the beginning of great impact that the
Mongols would have on the Russian empire culturally, politically, and economically.
Prior to the rise of the Mongol empire and their invasion of Russia, was a time of violence. Mongolia
separated by tribes and provinces was a non unified empire with little impact to Central Asia. Being
separated, feuds between provinces of power and money were the reason why Mongolia remained
separated. The provinces after a long a grueling process eventually became united by a

Criticism In Voltaire s Candide
Candide is Voltaire s most known literary work and most extensively read pieces of literature in
French. His philosophical tale is a means to portray his ideas. Simultaneously, amuse his readers with
satirical wit and ironical innuendo. Candide (the name refers to frankness and purity) is the main
character in the tale. The philosophical idea embodies optimism that is opposed by Voltaire s intend.
The directing force of the journey in this novel is Candide s love for Cunégonde. He goes to irrational
lengths to chase his love which includes deserting paradise of El Dorado, numerous murders, and
barely avoiding imprisonment and death sentence, mocked by the realism that once he can get married
to Cunégonde, he is no longer fascinated to her. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The readers comes across the daughter of a Pope; a Catholic priest must be celibate; a powerful
Catholic interrogator who deceitfully keeps a mistress; and a Franciscan friar who is an ornament
thief, despite the testament of poverty taken by members of the Franciscan order. Finally, Voltaire
presents a Jesuit colonel with homosexual tendencies. Religious leaders carry out coldhearted
campaigns of religious suppression against those who vary with them on even the minimum of
religious matters. For example, Pangloss s study tyrannizes him for stating his ideas and Candide for
just presence of them. Voltaire inscribes about public oppression of heretics. Persecution itself is
opposing to Christian principles. Moreover, it seems like the Inquisition is looking for people to
persecute. After the earthquake, Pangloss tries to comfort the victims by saying, this is all for the
supreme...and if there is a volcano under Lisbon, then it can t be found anywhere else; as it is
impossible for things to be anywhere than where they are. So, all is well (14). Though Pangloss
purpose may be perplexing, nowhere do we see him saying anything unorthodox in this statement.
Inquisition overhears Pangloss and put his words to be a stab at the Church. He accuses Pangloss that
he do not believe in Original Sin at all. Therefore, Pangloss is hung

Executive Summary
Improvements in health care and life sciences are an important source of gains in health and longevity
globally. The development of innovative pharmaceutical products plays a critical role in ensuring
these continued gains. To encourage the continued development of new drugs, economic incentives
are essential. These incentives are principally provided through direct and indirect government
funding, intellectual property laws, and other policies that favor innovation. Without such incentives,
private corporations, which bring to market the vast majority of new drugs, would be less able to
assume the risks and costs necessary to continue their research and development (R D). In the United
States, government action has focused on creating the environment that would best encourage further
innovation and yield a constant flow of new and innovative medicines to the market. The goal has
been to ensure that consumers would benefit both from technological breakthroughs and the
competition that further innovation generates. The United States also relies on a strong generic
pharmaceutical industry to create added competitive pressure to lower drug prices. Recent action by
the Administration and Congress has accelerated the flow of generic medicines to the market for
precisely that reason. By contrast, in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and

History In 1937 Richard and Maurice s father decided to open a food stand as a hobby ( History of ).
Orange juice and hamburgers were sold below market price ( History of ) In fact, burgers were
originally sold for only 15 cents (Gilbert, 8). After three years, the two brothers realized that their
father s business was actually very profitable. Richard and Maurice decided to lease a building and
open up a drive in restaurant, to make larger production possible; they named it McDonald s Bar B Q
and the soon to be fast food giant had begun ( History of ). The restaurant the brothers opened was a
drive in, and was an instant hit. In 1948, the McDonald brothers decided that it was time to open a sit

All About Fha 203K Loans. The Federal Housing Administration,

The Federal Housing Administration, otherwise known as the FHA, is a government agency created to

Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), set up in 1934 after the Great Depression.
The primary purpose of establishing the FHA is to oversee different insurance programs for single

to get FHA loans, buyers are required to have a satisfactory credit rating and make a down payment.

securing the dwelling properly to the foundation.
Borrower Eligibility for the FHA 203K Loan
The requirements for taking the 203k loan are not any different from other loan programs offered by
the Federal Housing Authority. The requirements are practically the same and all you need is to meet
the standard FHA credit qualifications which include the down payment requirements and mortgage
insurance payment upfront and annual, which depend on the value of the loan. Some of the standard
FHA underwriting guidelines that apply include income, credit scores, employment verification and
debt.
The major difference that can be spotted in the standard FHA underwriting process compared to the
FHA 203K underwriting process is that with the former, there is the usual inspection that checks
livability and an appraisal to assess the market value of the property. With the FHA 203K underwriting
process however, it does not make too much sense to find the fair market value of a property that
needs repairs.
With the 203k loan, there is an

Social Class In Jane Eyre
In the Victorian era women were held at a different standard than the men in the Victorian era. In the
novels of Jane Eyre and Tess of the d Urberville the social class of the women was challenged by both
leading ladies in the novels. Exploring both novels I will you examples from both to show how social
class effected women in the Victorian era. Beginning with Jane Eyre, the novel itself is a critical of
Victorian England s strict hierarchy. Bronte explores the complex social placements of governesses
which was the most prominent exploration of this theme. Jane was a figure of an ambiguous class
standing, and subsequently, a source of high tension for the characters around her in the novel. Jane s
overall mannerisms and education are those of high standings, of those of aristocrat. A Victorian
governesses, who tutored young children in life skills such as etiquette and as well as academics; Jane
was expected to embody the culture of the aristocracy. However, as a paid employee she was more or
less treated as servants; consequently Jane remains broke and powerless while residing a Thornfield.
Jane s understanding of the double standards against her become clear when she accepts her feelings
for Rochester. Jane is his intellectual, but not social equal. Even before Rochester s big secret about
Bertha Mason, Jane was hesitant to marry him because she knew that she would feel like she owed
him for condescending to marry her. In chapter seventeen, Jane s distress appears

Carnivore Narney Research Paper
As the Narneys inside the crater further evolve they start to grow taller and taller. This goes against
Mercury s gravity but this helps them survive. Being taller means that they can capture more sunlight.
An example phototropism are the Narneys leaves. Similar to sunflowers their leaves move with the
sun. Following the sunlight allows them to capture the maximum amount of light energy. An example
of thigmotropism is when pollen touches the Narney. Since pollen is how they reproduce pollen is
vital to their survival. To protect and ensure they receive pollen the reproductive organs of a Narney

The first one is the herbivores and the other is the carnivores. The herbivores eat the Narneys inside
the crater while the carnivores eat the Narneys outside the crater. This completely changes how the
two species look, act, and survive. The herbivores of the Narney population become smaller and
quicker while the carnivores start to become bigger and stronger.
The herbivore Narney fear the carnivore Narneys because they are their demise. In order to protect
themselves from the carnivore Narneys they form camouflage. This camouflage makes them blend
into Mercury s environment and keep them hidden. Their outer layer become very rough looking and
tan color to blend in. This makes it very hard for a carnivore Narney to find and eat a herbivore

Operation Fortitude is a go, Commander Patton said. Many people wonder what type of tactical tricks
did the unit use and how they knew about it. Actually, the U.S. army got these ideas of the plan of
deception from The first President of the United States: George Washington. Washington practiced
deception as an art rather than a science. Now the Ghost army was using this Art to fool the Germans (
Ghost Soldier magazine ). The art of tactical deception was their best skill. They wanted to mislead
the enemy forces that were going to fall for the tanks and the fake attacks that they were presenting.
The commander of the unit had to assign the recruits positions so that each designer and artist would
know what to operate: the speakers manipulating gunshot sounds and explosions or the inflatable tank
balloons meant to deceive the enemy into thinking a real unit was closeby. The commander created a
group called the Effect group, and they would be operating the important equipment in the operation (
Ghost Army Tricked Hitler ). What exactly, though, did the Ghost Army do on the battlefield? One

The Decline of Blockbuster Entertainment
How could a company that was built into a multibillion dollar empire fail less than two decades later?

dominant force in the movie rental industry. They were acquired by Viacom, at the pinnacle of their
success, for $8.4 billion in 1994 and were in bankruptcy by 2010. A series of blunders by upper
management, highlighted by a lack of strategic vision, led to Blockbuster s rapid decline and ultimate

In turn Blockbuster was left buried in debt, with an antiquated infrastructure and no means to improve

In 2005 Blockbuster eliminated late fees due to it being their number one customer complaint. In an
ironic twist, Reed Hastings had founded Netflix after incurring a $40 late fee for returning the movie
Apollo 13 late to his local Blockbuster. Ending late fees would cost Blockbuster nearly $400 million
in yearly profits. This now placed them in a position where they no longer had the cash flow to pay
down their debt obligations, and with the reduction in profits they were also unable to reinvest in their
company. With the end to late fees customers began to keep their rentals longer. This resulted in a new
number one customer complaint of titles always being out of stock. Red Box, founded in 2003, would
be the finishing knockout punch to Blockbuster. Already reeling from customer losses to Netflix,
Blockbuster management failed, once again, to realize the potential of a new delivery system, the
kiosk. Blockbuster had investigated kiosk delivery systems even before Red Box was introduced.
They chose to instead believe that human interaction would keep their customer base intact. Red box s
initial price of $1 a day rentals was a big consumer draw in comparison to Blockbusters $5 fee.

The Power of Conversation
Since birth, Edgar Allan Poe was forced to face faced the harsh realities of life. After his father left the
family and Poe s mother passed away when he was merely three, Poe was forced to move from his
home, Massachusetts, to live with another family in Virginia. Later, Poe gambled to earn enough
money to attend the University of Virginia, but when he returned home he found his fiancee engaged

Poe s poem, Lenore extends further and uniquely focuses on a man s journey to accept the loss of his
betrothed using the tone and organization of the text. The poem is organized as a conversation in four
stanzas between Guy de Vere and the narrator. The first and third stanzas are the spoken words of the
narrator and the second and fourth stanzas are the verbal responses of Guy de Vere. Poe s decision to
compose his poem in this manner provides the reader with a direct look at the raw, bare emotions of
the recently widowed man. These four stanzas allow the reader four opportunities to stand in Guy de
Vere s shoes and to hear what he hears. The reader now can identify with the complex array of
emotions and stages of grief experienced by Guy de Vere. With each stanza in the poem, the tone
changes slightly showing the gradual acceptance of the loss by Guy de Vere. In the second stanza, de
Vere s tone, created by internal sound devices and sentence structure, is hostile, demonstrating the
anger felt. The change in de Vere s tone occurring in the fourth stanza demonstrates a major evolution
in his outlook toward the future. He finally understands that although Lenore is gone, she will be
accepted in Heaven; and his life will continue without her. By talking out his feelings through
conversation, Guy de Vere finally accepts the loss of his bride to be, showing the power that one
conversation can have on someone s life. In Poe s poem, he uses structure and sound devices to show
that after the loss of a loved one, one may attribute the death to others, but with consolation and care
from others, he or she will make peace with the

What Is Banksy Stenciling
Banksy is an anonymous graffiti artist who uses his stenciling technique in his art to express many

Banksy is not even his real name! His identity is kept hidden because claiming his self is like

Bristol around the 1980s. These scenes focused on the young youth who were experiencing their

scenes helped Banksy find who he is and what he can do with his art. He created the street name
Banksy when he was involved in the scenes; therefore, no one can know who he is when he signs his

Babysitting Speech
In the last few decades, many circumstances have been changed to adapt to what the modernizing
society demands. For example, parents have revised society to what they believe would create an
auspicious environment for their children. The lecturer, Dr. Wendy Mogel, begins her speech with the
example of babysitting, and that children used to babysit at the adolescent age of nine. However, in
contemporary times, according to Dr. Mogel, nine year olds have babysitters, a security guard, and an

I make these assumptions using the information that parents shelter their children to an extreme extent
killing their want to help, as declared in the lecture. Furthermore, children are born with the desire to
want to help others, but that is repressed by their parents who teach them to let people help them,
instead of doing those acts for themselves. I believe that adolescent juveniles are more open to
suggestion, which is why they allow their parents to do most tasks for them. To further explain,
because their parents do many jobs for them, they believe that this is what the right thing is. If this is
truly the case, then by sheltering their children, parents are killing their want to help others and avert
carrying out essential tasks for themselves. This can be seen in the experiment done by Michael
Tomasello, which displays that children want to help. Toddlers and infants demonstrate an ability not
seen in many adults, the want to care for, and provide abetment for others. This instinct comes from

Costa Rica Comparison
Costa Rica is an absolutely beautiful country. It is full of tropical flowers, trees, fruits, and animals.
The waters are the bluest of blue and the landscape is the greenest that I have ever seen. There are also
beautiful volcanos and mountain ranges throughout Costa Rica. It was extremely fascinating to me
how different Costa Rica is compared to the United States not only in looks but also in culture and
history. Geography While in Costa Rica my team visited the cities of San Jose, Limon, Talamanca,
and Puerto Viejo. All of these cities lie on the southeastern side of Costa Rica next to the Caribbean
Sea. The differences in the beaches was extremely interesting to me. While we were in Talamanca, the
beach was fairly dirty but private. The ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Here in the United States our culture is fairly consistent. When one visits another state there may be
some differences in the way things are done, but definitely not drastic differences in culture. While my
team was in Costa Rica I felt as if I had visited three different countries. The cultures of San Jose,
Talamanca, and Puerto Viejo are completely different. When my team arrived in San Jose the first
thing that I noticed was the culture. It was completely different from the United States. The people
were extremely inviting and accepting. The city was not as loud as a city in the United States either.
There were no sirens or horns honking. In fact, most cars were off the road by about eight o clock in
the evening. According to Pedro, our guide and translator, most Costa Rican s go to sleep around nine
in the evening and start their day around five in the morning. Talamanca was extremely laid back. It
reminded me a lot of a Mennonite community. Most people in the village did not drive cars but instead
rode horses. Ninety percent of their food is home grown including fruits, vegetables, and butter. There
is a truck that comes through the village every morning with chicken and fresh eggs, but other than
that their meat is caught. The people of Talamanca look out for each other. It is extremely community
oriented, but also nature oriented. For example, while the team was walking on the beach we stopped

All Souls: A Family Story From Southie By Micheal Patrick MacDonald. (Ballentine Books under

hatred animated on a Friday in the early days of October. Some people were reading the newspaper in

A Research Based On A Cross Country Data Essay
Mauro (1995) conducted a research based on a cross country data to evaluate causes of corruption
worldwide. In Corruption and Growth , he describes the relationship between corruption and
economic growth of different countries over the period 1971 1979 and 1980 1983. In his research,
Mauro used indices related to corruption from Business International Corporation which sells indices
to banks, companies, and investors. The indices are based on the responses of the BI s analysts from
more than 70 countries, and they reflect analysts perspective on conditions in a country. The indices
have values between 1 and 10, and higher values correspond to a better quality of institutions. Mauro
has used nine indices, which, in his opinion, are the best determinants of institutional efficiency:
political change (a change in institutional framework due to elections), political stability
(disintegration of political activities), probability of opposition group takeover (probability of the
opposition to gain power), stability of labor (possibility of labor disruption), relationship with
neighboring countries, terrorism, legal system (efficiency of labor environment), red tape
(bureaucracy), corruption. Mauro separated those nine indices into two groups based on how closely
the indices are correlated. The first group is labeled as bureaucratic efficiency and includes variables
such as legal system, red tape, and corruption. The second group of variables is labeled as political

The Use Of Strange Places In slade House And Jordan...
Title: The Use of Strange Places in David Mitchell s Slade House and Jordan Peele s Get Out
Published in 2015, Slade House is a horror mystery written by David Mitchell. While their storylines
are quite different, the book has many similar fear inducing tactics used in Jordan Peele s Get Out. The
methods used in these two stories are what University of York professor, John Bowen would classify
as gothic motifs. These motifs break down into groups he has labeled as clashing time periods , power
and constraint , terror versus horror , a world of doubt , and strange places (Bowen). In particular,
professor Bowen describes strange places in gothic fiction as somewhere other, different, and,
mysterious (Bowen). He also claims that they are, often threatening or violent, sometimes sexually
enticing, and, often a prison (Bowen). The novel, Slade House and the film, Get Out are both
considered Gothic text because they contain the crucial aspects of the strange places motif.
The places in Slade House are strange because they lack consistency. The author, David Mitchell, first
introduces the motif immediately when Nathan Bishop and his mother Rita, arrive in Slade Alley.
Nathan himself describes the alley as somewhere a tramp might live in a cardboard box (Mitchell 6).
Slade House itself is a strange place because it is an expansive plot of land located in a small alley
way. It is not possible that such a place could fit where it is and each of the four protagonists

How Business Reward And Motivate The Team Behind It...
Startups don t generally start with a load of money. Finances are often stretched thin and rewarding
the hardworking team behind the business can be difficult. One way to handle financing is to provide
shares for the team through a process called vesting.
This guide will look to explain what vesting is all about and how a startup can set up a successful
vesting scheme. The aim is to help your business reward and motivate the team behind it without
stretching company finances too thin.
What is vesting?
Before you venture into setting up a vesting scheme, you must fully understand what it means. Vesting
is essentially a process by which the parties in the startup accrue non forfeitable rights over the stock
ownership of the business. It ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
On the other hand, if they leave after two years, they might retain 50% of what they owned.
If founder B leaves after two years, he or she will retain 22.5%. Founder B can walk away with the
share, or founder A can purchase the 22.5% back for a reasonable price. The rest of the shares will be
forfeited. If the founder leaves after four years, he or she will retain the full 45%.
The benefits of setting up a vesting scheme
Vesting is essentially a scheme to protect the business. Consider a business starts without a vesting
scheme. Founder A and founder B both have 50% of the business and work hard in order for the
business to succeed. But one day, founder B announces he will leave. Founder B can walk away with
50% ownership of the company, while founder A has to try to salvage the situation. If the business
succeeds, founder B will get to enjoy the fruits of A s labour.
But as the example vesting scheme showed, founder B wouldn t be able to walk out with everything
until the vesting scheme is completed. Therefore, the vesting scheme can act as an incentive for
employees. The longer they work with the business and help it to succeed, the more they will gain.
While the vesting scheme can protect the business from walking out, it naturally also provides benefits
for the members of the vesting scheme. Instead of simply being part of the payroll, the members of the
scheme can reap the benefits of the business succeeding through the

Using Geometry And Algebra, By Brianna Baker
Geometry and Algebra / By: Brianna Baker Five ways to use geometry in life is by: making my bed,
telling time on a clock, wrestling, driving, and doing geometry in math class. When making a bed you
use angles by horizontally pulling the covers up on to the rectangular mattress where they belong.
Telling time uses angles by the short hand moving every hour and the long hand moving every minute.
The hands are always either in an obtuse or acute angle. Wresting uses angles and if I wanted to grab
someone I would be predicting volume. Driving is obviously geometry making U turns and turning is

Angles and measurements are important for the structure of the house. Being a house keeper or

and basketball all use volume and angles. Wrestling teaches specific movement and lengths of reach.
The game of football takes prediction of volume and of course you should now at least what angle or

algebra in daily life is by: going to an algebra math class, predicting how much money you ll get,
counting, saving and spending money. When you take a class for algebra you ll count the days left to

The Japanese Political System
From the Meiji Restoration era, democratization efforts were undertaken to modernize Japan. A
bicameral system of legislature as well as local, though unelected assemblies were created in the
image of the Prussian model (Haddad, 2012, p. 50) and a Constitution placing absolute power with the

Nucor Steel Case Study
There are many competitive forces that are affecting Nucor Corporation. Some of the primary ones are
the market size, number of rivals, and pace of technological change. The market size is shrinking
because of the increase in competing international steel companies. The number of rivals in America is
declining due to higher labor costs than in foreign countries. There is a very fast pace of technology in
the steel industry and it seems that the company, that obtains the newest technology, flourishes. This is
due to the difficulty in lower costs of steel production. Better technology is one of the only ways to
decrease costs because labor is pretty much at a set cost and all that is left is the cost of iron and
making the steel. If a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It seems that the companies, who obtain these technologies, obtain a significant head start in the
industry.
Like I said before, many companies are going bankrupt and are leaving the exiting the industry.
Since steel is a commodity it leads to very volatile prices and can change quite frequently due to
demand. By looking at Exhibit 1, you can see how the average price per ton decreased form $425 per
ton in 2000 to $354 per ton in 2001. This exhibit shows how many tons of steel Nucor sold during
certain years from 1970 to 2006. It is interesting to see that Nucor s net income was fairly low during
the years of 2000 2002, but increased to $1,121.5 million. This is because of Nucor s many
acquisitions during the low period. Just a few years later in 2004, the price of steel was back up to
$595 per ton.
These driving forces very easily impact the steel industry s competitive structure in a bad way. These
driving forces make it very difficult for steel companies to compete in this industry.
3) The prospects for future profitability of the U.S. steel makers are very unattractive. Unless America
can successfully combat China s enormously, inexpensive, production ability, I do not see any
American steel company surviving. China just has too big of a production ability and has the
workforce to do it cheaply. Nucor will have to expand in this industry in the United States to survive.

Moral Developement Model
Lawrence Kohlberg believe that most Americans were at stage 3 and stage 4 of his moral
developement model. I agree with Kohlberg s take on stage 3 but I totally disagree with his take on
stage 4. In my opinion, most Americans are at stage 1 and stage 3. In todays day and age people are
more concerned with how others preceive them and people want to be socially accepted by others. In
addition to people wanting social acceptance from others, they do things morally to avoid the backlash
of negative consequences from authority or being punished by authorities.

Many laws and rules are put in place to protect people from being harmed, but people stay clear from
breaking them from fear of disciplinary actions. I must admit that I myself and others I know have
done moral acts to avoid consequences and sanctions not thinking about my safety but thinking about
the punishment if I do so. For example, when I was in high school me and my friends use to jaywalk
across the street because the crosswalk was so far from where we were headed, but if there was a
sheriff s officer s vehicle sitting near by we would avoid this illegal act of jaywalking so we won t get
in trouble. To be honest, there are many other acts I stay away from so I won t receive discipline from
authoritative figures and I am sure that is the same reason why many other Americans follow the rules
and abide by the law.
To conclude, Americans fall under stage 1 and stage 3 of Kohlberg s moral development theory in my
opinion. Most people yearn for acceptance from others such as friends, family, and people they don t
fully now by acting morally so they would be seen as a morally good person. People also take part in
moral acts so they won t be punished for doing otherwise. Out of all the six stages of Kohlberg moral

A Golden Age
Student Name Professor Name Subject Date A Golden Age Less than 30 years after the war of
Independence, East Pakistan (now Bangladesh) and West Pakistan (now Pakistan) had grown so
further apart, even from the obvious geographical disconnect, that the liberation war of 1971 could be
termed as inevitable. For some it was the war of liberation but for many who lost their friends,
neighbors and other loved ones, it was a time of selfish loss. Bengal s growing need for an identity,
equal and ethnic acceptance and a pride in their mother language eventually led to many conflicts both
emotional and political. Having been recently independent from British India, the Two Nation Theory

more than distance; it was felt as a conspiracy for West Pakistan to govern the entire country (Bose,

situation in the country is seen to be evident. Perhaps it was this feeling of unequal representation and
a desire for provincial autonomy that led to an ever present sense of estrangement. That time was
considered the golden age of Bengal and the characters are faced with that piece of history that
eventually helped change the map of the world. In addition to the linguistic, racial, temperamental,

2006, Shell was forced to transfer an expansion project to Gazprom. That same year, concern over the
possible revocation of the license to the Kovykta gas field and Gazprom s ability to block construction
of a pipeline to China, forced TNK BP to sell its stake in the field. Gazprom purchased the stake for
less than a third of its real value. The Russian government had also been known to both privatize or

Motions of the Car from Today and Tomorrow
Motion of the Car
Have you ever dreamt of having your very own Herbie? The car with its own mind that drives by
itself? Part of your dreams might become reality soon, as Google engineers have already had test
drove their newly developed self driving car on more than 180,000 miles of highways and roads!
Picture: Fictional Self Driving Car, Herbie
There are already cars that can park themselves, but a self driving car would be able to capture images
of the road, identify alternative route and prevent traffic even before human eye can detect it. Wouldn t
it be fun to have a car that drives by itself on the way home from a tired day at the office?
Since 95% of road accident happen due to human error, this self driving car can prevent major
accidents on the road. This google cars can also reduce the amount of time used waiting for traffic
clearance. This saves you a lot of time, beside the lives of others. These Google cars will have data
about the roads and the surrounding. When it is driven, it will be able to detect any changes (like
pedestrians crossing the road), analyze it and make a proper response (stopping to let the pedestrian
cross). Even though this seems kind of impossible for now, you can except this to be in the showroom
in the next few decades, and it will surely make a great cocktail party conversation.
Drive by wire, is a technology that could change the way we drive our car. A car with this technology
would be controlled by electronics which operates the

The Appropriate Expansion Path Of Mcdonalds
The appropriate expansion path
(a) McDonald s is a famous fast food brand in the word which owns 35,000 outlets located in 119
different countries. In 1990, the first McDonald s store opened in Shenzhen. But before they actually
started their business, McDonald s had already carried out 5 years business research and all sorts of
information gathering such as the income level of the Chinese people, the kind of foods they enjoy etc
(Han, J. 2008). For product perspective, McDonald s create a standardized set of products that taste
similar no matter in United State or in China. According to the research, they found cost saving by
standardization as think global, act local .
McDonalds launch their promotion with same brand image and the advertisements. The target
customers for them include children, teenagers and young generation with standardization
management. On the other hand, they are not successful as KFC in China market due to some reasons.
For example, Chinese customer trend to purchase chicken burger rather than beef burger.
Denny s know as American restaurant that signed an agreement with Great China International Group
(GCIG) that develop 50 new restaurants in southern China I the next 15 years (Files.shareholder.com).
So this agreement enhances business strategy for expanding the brand in China. In addition Denny s
change their menu for local concern that achieves great success. However, the Chinese people still less
familiar with this brand. And it seems as

I will be talking about hedgehogs, and what they are, and...
I will be talking about hedgehogs, and what they are, and along with what they do. First, hHedgehogs
are mammals that are native to Europe, Asia, and Africa. There are some fifteen species of hedgehogs
in these listed countries, says National Geographic (nN.dD.). Hedgehogs have also been introduced
into nontraditional ranges such as New Zealand. The hedgehog was named because of its peculiar
foraging methods. These animals root through hedges and other undergrowth in search of the small
creatures that compose the bulk of their diet: insects, worms, centipedes, snails, mice, frogs, and
snakes. As a hedgehog picks through the hedges, it emits pig like grunts, thus, the name hedgehog,

Hedgehogs might be timid, but some of them have still made it big:. Sonic the Hedgehog is one of the
world s best known video game characters, and who could forget Mrs. Tiggy Winkle, the hedgehog
washerwoman in Beatrix Potter s children books. Yes, some adores hedgehogs, but that doesn t mean
it s always illegal to own one. Ironically, this nocturnal animal is not related to the porcupine, but it us
is related to the shrew, says Animal Discovery (December 29,2010). No hedgehogs are native to North
America, and up to ten different hedgehog species all hail from Europe, Asia, or Africa, and . But the
most common species of domesticated hedgehog is the African Pygmy. It was the early 1980s when
hedgehog domestication became popular in the U.S. If you re looking to identify these amazing
animals, look for their multicolored unique quills, which are used for defense. When threatened, the
hedgehog contracts two large muscles on either side of the body, drawing the quills upright, into an
impenetrable ball. The quills are filled with a complex network of air chambers to prevent breaking,
protecting . Protecting the hedgehog not just from predators, but from falls, notes complies Animal
Discovery (December 29, 2010). These quills act as a shock absorber, and cushion, and prevents
injury, says Dr. Nick Sitinas, from South Wilton Veterinary Group (N.D.)
Hedgehogs are easily recognized by their

Characteristics Of Serial Killers
The over dramatization of serial killers, and their apprehension has evidently distorted the facts.
Civilian s enthrallment with serial killers has both desirable and undesirable social effects (Gibson,
2006). Although all serial killers share similar characteristics they behave identically to everyone else.
Civilians have been misled to believe that serial killers are different from the rest of human kind, that
they possess distinguishable characteristics that can be readily identified (Haggerty, 2009).
Many have pondered the real reasons why these individuals have turned to killing. The elucidation lies
within the serial killer, specifically the development from birth to adulthood (Leyton, 1987). The
behaviours that serial killers express ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Organised serial killers are highly intelligent and conniving, acting like every other individual, often
leaving precise clues for detectives; they make elaborate plans of killing, usually using a murder
weapon, and don`t leave evidence to incriminate them (FBI, 2012). The organised serial killers are
known to be psychopaths being able to differentiate between right and wrong. Whilst, disorganised
serial killers are known to be psychotic and are usually isolated from society (Carter, 2004). These
individuals have low self esteem and feel sexually and interpersonally inadequate (Ressler, 1986).
Killing for no particular reason whenever an opportunity arises; their crime scenes display more
haphazard behaviour, as they leave clues, making it easy for them to be apprehended (Geberth, 1990;
Geberth and Turco, 1997). Serial killers are not born instead they are victims of abuse and dysfunction
that has led to becoming loners who find happiness in youthful fantasies that turn them into killers
once faced with a personal crisis (Mofina, Ressler, 1993). In addition serial killers have detrimental
relationships with their mothers. Theses volatile relationships nurtured the serial killers to loathe
females (Moesch 1998). The mothers were controlling, overprotective, and both physically and
emotionally abusive (Moesch 1998). Sigmund Freud, the founder of psychoanalysis treatment
suggests that the young children would attempt to reach autonomy with their mothers; however, most
were unsuccessful, causing them to suffer from psychological torment (Moesch 1998). Empirically
supported, this theory suggests that 66% of known serial killers were cultivated in homes with
dominant and neglectful mothers (Moesch 1998).
Not only do serial killers share similar characteristics, but they are also influenced by very similar
factors, suffering trauma

Viola in The Twelfth Night
Who is Viola? Who REALLY is Viola? Viola is a very cunning, smart, and interesting character. This
is shown in Shakespeare s The Twelfth Night, this book is about three different lovers. The Duke loves
Olivia, Olivia loves Cesario/Viola, and Cesario/Viola loves the Duke. Viola is trying to set up a new
life after surviving a shipwreck in which her brother died. Viola is a cunning lady with lots of attitude.
Viola influences almost every other character as well. She unintentionally tricks both the Duke and
Olivia, she confuses Antonia, who believes she is Sebastian (her brother), and she confuses her
brother, Sebastian, who believed that she was dead. Viola is someone we can all learn from.
In Shakespeare s The Twelfth Night, Viola is very much like a spy. She knew secret information of all
three people (the Duke, Olivia, and herself) in the love triangle. I have been lead to this conclusion
because of both her knowledge of secrets, and by how she relayed information to and from the Duke.
Many quotes showed her secret knowledge, for example, in act 2 scene 3 My master loves her dearly;
And I, poor monster, fond as much on him; And she, mistaken, seems to dote on me. (Lines 15 40)
Viola knew of the pickle of love everyone was in before anyone else figured it out. Also, in act 2 scene
4 (Lines 117 125) Viola said But let concealment, like worm i the bud, Feed on her damask cheek; In
this part of the book, Viola is like a spy because she knows both how men and how women

  • 3. Dartmouth College Vs. Woodward Dartmouth College v. Woodward (1819) Living in the 1800 s was not an easy task. This was the time of child labor and little to no education for kids. The time of having to walk 2 3 miles anywhere and making sure the crops were well enough to sell in the markets. The time of Westward Expansion and the genocide of Native Americans. Eleazar Wheelock, a Puritan minister from Columbia, CT was the one who founded Dartmouth. He initially established the school to train Native Americans as Christian missionaries. His inspiration for the school first came about due to his relationship with a Mohegan Indian Samson Occom. The name of the school was to be Moor s Indian Charity School and was officially established in 1755. It was somewhat successful, but they still needed more funding in order to maintain the schools operations. Wheelock and Occom decided to go to England in 1766 to raise money for the school. Once they raised enough, they made a trust to help the school. The Charity School finally had enough financial support to keep going. But Wheelock had trouble recruiting Native Americans to attend the institution due to the location being far away from the tribal territories. He decided to relocate the school to Hanover, in the Province of New Hampshire. Following the relocation, it was difficult to find resources and secure a charter. Luckily, the Royal Governor of New Hampshire, John Wentworth, provided the land that Dartmouth would be built on and issued a charter in the name ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Though we may use these items for mere moments, there is a different supply and demand cycle for them. Every product has a different supply and demand cycle, and this cycle varies throughout time. Some items may constantly be in demand, like cotton, and others may be in demand seasonally, like eggnog. These shifts in supply and demand may influence the price of certain products, how much of the product is available at any given time, etc. Commodities available during only peak times throughout the year may even be substituted with a similar item. These seasonal items are considered ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The production of polyester is considered as planet polluting. Another substitute would be Organic cotton, which is pesticide free and tinted naturally. Hemp is also a good substitution for cotton. According to the Hemp Industries Association, hemp has fewer pesticides than cotton. Cotton, when blended with other fabrics, can be substituted for 100% cotton making it less expensive than other fabrics like linen, wool, spandex, silks, and lycra. Because cotton is so popular, an increase in price does not automatically mean that there will be a decrease in the quantity demanded. Since the first choice for clothing is cotton, people will continue to purchase clothing and there will not be an effect on the supply demanded, even with a price increase. With essential commodities, price increases will not negatively affect the quantity demanded. Cotton has an inelastic demand because the quantity is not affected (Elastic and Inelastic Demand). Cotton is one of the most widely used products today. It is noted as having an inelastic demand because of the various other products that can be used in place of it. A change in price will more than likely have no effect on the decision to utilize its benefits, as it is present in many luxury and necessity items. However, if pricing is changed, causing a change in demand, businesses could ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Bordering Chinese states, the Khwarazmian empire, present day Afghanistan, Siberia, Iran, and many more, at its height the mongol empire was over 20,000,000 square kilometers. This was all possible due to extraordinary men in Central Asia, ruled by Genghis khan emperor of the Mongol empire. These Asian nomads along with their fearless and intelligent leader, flourished against numerous odds impacting all those whom they waged war against. A recipient of this impact in particular was Russia. It was around 1219 when the Mongols first entered the Kievan Russia marking the beginning of the interactions of the two. With the Mongols rise in establishing one of the largest contiguous empire in history and having Russia only distances away the collision of the two were inevitable. As history shows this collision did happen in the year 1236 which marked the beginning of great impact that the Mongols would have on the Russian empire culturally, politically, and economically. Prior to the rise of the Mongol empire and their invasion of Russia, was a time of violence. Mongolia separated by tribes and provinces was a non unified empire with little impact to Central Asia. The development of innovative pharmaceutical products plays a critical role in ensuring these continued gains. To encourage the continued development of new drugs, economic incentives are essential. These incentives are principally provided through direct and indirect government funding, intellectual property laws, and other policies that favor innovation. Without such incentives, private corporations, which bring to market the vast majority of new drugs, would be less able to assume the risks and costs necessary to continue their research and development (R D). In the United States, government action has focused on creating the environment that would best encourage further innovation and yield a constant flow of new and innovative medicines to the market. The goal has been to ensure that consumers would benefit both from technological breakthroughs and the competition that further innovation generates. Now the Ghost army was using this Art to fool the Germans ( Ghost Soldier magazine ). The art of tactical deception was their best skill. They wanted to mislead the enemy forces that were going to fall for the tanks and the fake attacks that they were presenting. The commander of the unit had to assign the recruits positions so that each designer and artist would know what to operate: the speakers manipulating gunshot sounds and explosions or the inflatable tank balloons meant to deceive the enemy into thinking a real unit was closeby. Poe s decision to compose his poem in this manner provides the reader with a direct look at the raw, bare emotions of the recently widowed man. These four stanzas allow the reader four opportunities to stand in Guy de Vere s shoes and to hear what he hears. The reader now can identify with the complex array of emotions and stages of grief experienced by Guy de Vere. With each stanza in the poem, the tone changes slightly showing the gradual acceptance of the loss by Guy de Vere. These scenes focused on the young youth who were experiencing their defiant years and were bursting with creative ideas that they want to include in their art. Being in these scenes helped Banksy find who he is and what he can do with his art. He created the street name Banksy when he was involved in the scenes; therefore, no one can know who he is when he signs his art after he finishes painting them. For example, parents have revised society to what they believe would create an auspicious environment for their children. The lecturer, Dr. Wendy Mogel, begins her speech with the example of babysitting, and that children used to babysit at the adolescent age of nine. However, in contemporary times, according to Dr. Mogel, nine year olds have babysitters, a security guard, and an adult watching over them. I make these assumptions using the information that parents shelter their children to an extreme extent killing their want to help, as declared in the lecture. Furthermore, children are born with the desire to want to help others, but that is repressed by their parents who teach them to let people help them, instead of doing those acts for themselves. I believe that adolescent juveniles are more open to suggestion, which is why they allow their parents to do most tasks for them. To further explain, because their parents do many jobs for them, they believe that this is what the right thing is. If this is truly the case, then by sheltering their children, parents are killing their want to help others and avert carrying out essential tasks for themselves. This can be seen in the experiment done by Michael Tomasello, which displays that children want to help. Toddlers and infants demonstrate an ability not seen in many adults, the want to care for, and provide abetment for others. This instinct comes from the exercise of altruism, which releases the beneficial drugs; oxytocin, dopamine, and endorphins, within the body. However, as mentioned previously this capacity does not last for very long after these young children begin to mature. In an experiment carried out by American developmental ... In his research, Mauro used indices related to corruption from Business International Corporation which sells indices to banks, companies, and investors. Title: The Use of Strange Places in David Mitchell s Slade House and Jordan Peele s Get Out Published in 2015, Slade House is a horror mystery written by David Mitchell. While their storylines are quite different, the book has many similar fear inducing tactics used in Jordan Peele s Get Out. The methods used in these two stories are what University of York professor, John Bowen would classify as gothic motifs. These motifs break down into groups he has labeled as clashing time periods , power and constraint , terror versus horror , a world of doubt , and strange places (Bowen). In particular, professor Bowen describes strange places in gothic fiction as somewhere other, different, and, mysterious (Bowen). He also claims that they are, often threatening or violent, sometimes sexually enticing, and, often a prison (Bowen). The novel, Slade House and the film, Get Out are both considered Gothic text because they contain the crucial aspects of the strange places motif. The places in Slade House are strange because they lack consistency. The author, David Mitchell, first introduces the motif immediately when Nathan Bishop and his mother Rita, arrive in Slade Alley. Nathan himself describes the alley as somewhere a tramp might live in a cardboard box (Mitchell 6). Slade House itself is a strange place because it is an expansive plot of land located in a small alley way. Finances are often stretched thin and rewarding the hardworking team behind the business can be difficult. One way to handle financing is to provide shares for the team through a process called vesting. This guide will look to explain what vesting is all about and how a startup can set up a successful vesting scheme. The aim is to help your business reward and motivate the team behind it without stretching company finances too thin. What is vesting? If the founder leaves after four years, he or she will retain the full 45%. The benefits of setting up a vesting scheme Vesting is essentially a scheme to protect the business. Consider a business starts without a vesting scheme. Founder A and founder B both have 50% of the business and work hard in order for the business to succeed. But one day, founder B announces he will leave. Founder B can walk away with 50% ownership of the company, while founder A has to try to salvage the situation. If the business succeeds, founder B will get to enjoy the fruits of A s labour. But as the example vesting scheme showed, founder B wouldn t be able to walk out with everything until the vesting scheme is completed. Therefore, the vesting scheme can act as an incentive for employees. The longer they work with the business and help it to succeed, the more they will gain. While the vesting scheme can protect the business from walking out, it naturally also provides benefits for the members of the vesting scheme. Apparently, the reason for this warning was because there are parts of the play where people walk up and down the extended pieces of the stage. This caused my mouth to go slack, this meant that the audience is able to be near the actors and are able to get a closer look at the scene that is playing at the time. The young ladies ... • 39. Personal Narrative-Disney World And Seaworld Disney World and SeaWorld. Soon that s where we would be heading. I was only in 2nd grade but I still remember how Heather, Sara, Sierra, Grandma, Grandpa, and I packed into our four door, red 2000 Dodge Durango. We all were so excited. I was bouncing up and down in my seat even though I had just awakened. I didn t sleep much the night before neither did my sisters nor had my cousin. Heather and Sara sat behind my Grandparents. Papaw was driving with Grandma in the passenger seat, Sierra and I sat in the third row of seats. I remember just how cramped it was we had suitcases on the floorboard in front of us. I had my CD player and headphones, not the small ones either. The children had each brought a pillow and a blanket. I remember how Sierra had eaten leftover chili before we left early that morning, long before the sun broke the horizon. She made the car smell like rotten eggs the whole way to Florida. First, hHedgehogs are mammals that are native to Europe, Asia, and Africa. There are some fifteen species of hedgehogs in these listed countries, says National Geographic (nN.dD.). Hedgehogs have also been introduced into nontraditional ranges such as New Zealand. The hedgehog was named because of its peculiar foraging methods. These animals root through hedges and other undergrowth in search of the small creatures that compose the bulk of their diet: insects, worms, centipedes, snails, mice, frogs, and snakes. As a hedgehog picks through the hedges, it emits pig like grunts, thus, the name hedgehog, National Geographic (N.D.). Some people consider ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... It was the early 1980s when hedgehog domestication became popular in the U.S. If you re looking to identify these amazing animals, look for their multicolored unique quills, which are used for defense. When threatened, the hedgehog contracts two large muscles on either side of the body, drawing the quills upright, into an impenetrable ball. • 43. Characteristics Of Serial Killers The over dramatization of serial killers, and their apprehension has evidently distorted the facts. Civilian s enthrallment with serial killers has both desirable and undesirable social effects (Gibson, 2006). Although all serial killers share similar characteristics they behave identically to everyone else. Civilians have been misled to believe that serial killers are different from the rest of human kind, that they possess distinguishable characteristics that can be readily identified (Haggerty, 2009). Many have pondered the real reasons why these individuals have turned to killing. The elucidation lies within the serial killer, specifically the development from birth to adulthood (Leyton, 1987). The behaviours that serial killers express ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Organised serial killers are highly intelligent and conniving, acting like every other individual, often leaving precise clues for detectives; they make elaborate plans of killing, usually using a murder weapon, and don`t leave evidence to incriminate them (FBI, 2012). The organised serial killers are known to be psychopaths being able to differentiate between right and wrong. Whilst, disorganised serial killers are known to be psychotic and are usually isolated from society (Carter, 2004). These individuals have low self esteem and feel sexually and interpersonally inadequate (Ressler, 1986). Killing for no particular reason whenever an opportunity arises; their crime scenes display more haphazard behaviour, as they leave clues, making it easy for them to be apprehended (Geberth, 1990; Geberth and Turco, 1997). Serial killers are not born instead they are victims of abuse and dysfunction that has led to becoming loners who find happiness in youthful fantasies that turn them into killers once faced with a personal crisis (Mofina, Ressler, 1993). In addition serial killers have detrimental relationships with their mothers. Theses volatile relationships nurtured the serial killers to loathe females (Moesch 1998). The mothers were controlling, overprotective, and both physically and emotionally abusive (Moesch 1998). Sigmund Freud, the founder of psychoanalysis treatment suggests that the young children would attempt to reach autonomy with their mothers; however, most were unsuccessful, causing them to suffer from psychological torment (Moesch 1998). Empirically supported, this theory suggests that 66% of known serial killers were cultivated in homes with dominant and neglectful mothers (Moesch 1998). • 44. Viola in The Twelfth Night Who is Viola? Who REALLY is Viola? Viola is a very cunning, smart, and interesting character. This is shown in Shakespeare s The Twelfth Night, this book is about three different lovers. The Duke loves Olivia, Olivia loves Cesario/Viola, and Cesario/Viola loves the Duke. Viola is trying to set up a new life after surviving a shipwreck in which her brother died. Viola is a cunning lady with lots of attitude. Viola influences almost every other character as well. She unintentionally tricks both the Duke and Olivia, she confuses Antonia, who believes she is Sebastian (her brother), and she confuses her brother, Sebastian, who believed that she was dead. Viola is someone we can all learn from. In Shakespeare s The Twelfth Night, Viola is very much like a spy. She knew secret information of all three people (the Duke, Olivia, and herself) in the love triangle. I have been lead to this conclusion because of both her knowledge of secrets, and by how she relayed information to and from the Duke. Many quotes showed her secret knowledge, for example, in act 2 scene 3 My master loves her dearly; And I, poor monster, fond as much on him; And she, mistaken, seems to dote on me. (Lines 15 40) Viola knew of the pickle of love everyone was in before anyone else figured it out. Also, in act 2 scene 4 (Lines 117 125) Viola said But let concealment, like worm i the bud, Feed on her damask cheek; In this part of the book, Viola is like a spy because she knows both how men and how women ...
