The writer of this case study met with client Maria Sanchez on February 16th,
2015. This client was referred to this writer after a recent diagnosis of stage 4
Alzheimer s disease by a clinician to assist with planning for her future. Upon
initially meeting with this client, this writer could determine her demographic
information. Maria Sanchez is married; however her husband is currently residing
in Mexico City. This client is 68 years old. Sanchez has been living in the United
States for the last 20 years. She is a legal permanent resident (LPR). Client has
spent 17 of these 20 years in the work force, and paid into social security. Currently
this client s only income comes from social security and from her daughter for
child and household care (100 dollars per month). Client is currently receiving a
social security check of 356.12 each month. Client has saved up 4500 dollars in the
last couple of years. This client currently has no health insurance. Sanchez has been
given a probable diagnosis of stage 4 Alzheimer s disease. Through the initial
assessment signs of depression can be seen were seen by this writer. Client Sanchez
has a very close bond with her family, and uses them as her support system. She will
be going through the assessment process and interventions with the assistance of her

The purpose of my poster is to persuade children aged 12 and over to read Artemis
Fowl by Eoin Colfer. The poster displays and expresses the theme of evil that is
evident in the graphic novel. I have used many techniques to convey the theme of evil
in the book.
Colour has been used in my poster to create a dark and wicked setting. The black
and red in the image of Artemis shows how he is capable of doing such evil. His
body is outlined with a red glow to enhance his power. I have also purposely made
his face dark and unidentified to show his mysterious and deceiving character. The
grey tones in the background express the darkness and mystery that is displayed in

This research paper is an analysis of the form and content of the Documentary
Film Night Mail (1936) directed by Harry Watt and Basil Wright, written by W.H.

discussion, I have done several other simulations during my undergrad schooling.
Compared to this simulation they were based in the financial realm focused on
stocks and bonds. However, they all share a similar aspect in regards that their

games while encouraging video game developers themselves to make games that
yield more benefits for the players.
Perceptual Learning Effects One of the earliest studies on action video games,
Greenfield et al. (1994), found that such games facilitate visual attention and decrease
response times to an expected stimulus. Although these findings were not large
enough to suggest a significant cognitive benefit from video games, it paved the

understanding Americans have on poverty and what it really is. I agree with Diana
George s statement that the impression of poverty through visual imagery is
distorted. Her essay examines many aspects of the misrepresentation of poverty.
Society believes that they are doing more than what is actually being accomplished.
The effect of her explanation allows for the audience to alter their opinion on the true
image of poverty. Her use of real organizations within the community strengthens her
approach. In her writing, George examines how certain organizations, such as the
Habitat for Humanity that aim to eliminate poverty may be working against
themselves by the way they choose to show the problem. The visual representation
that the organization gives reflect the understanding that most Americans have when
it comes to what poverty really is. Showing the typical shacks, dirt, and black and
white photos will alter a person s mindset on poverty and cause them to not be able to
recognize themselves in that situation. In reality, the poverty in countries like Africa
are no different than the poverty we have in America. Georges writing gives
examples of how Americans within our society are not motivated to help people as
