This document discusses signs of "cargo cult" thinking when adopting agile frameworks. It identifies five signs: believing one framework fits all without considering purpose; treating walls as decorations rather than living documents; requiring all meetings be stand-ups without considering traditional meetings; not measuring improvements by thinking metrics are outdated; and adopting others' "best practices" without trying, inspecting, and adapting processes. It also provides examples of cargo cult thinking such as appeals to tradition without evidence and predictions of results without understanding cause and effect relationships.
