yarn create strapi-app app_news --quickstart
This command will create the strapi application in app_news
folder

3. Create Collection type?
● Collection type is similar to content type in Drupal
CMS.
● We can see user collection as default collection.
● We can create out own collection type.
● For our example we can create News Item as a
collection type.
● And News Category collection type which we can
use for categorizing News Items. With the help of
relation

4. Create Collection Type

● Now you can create collection type by

5. Add Fields To Collection
We can following fields
1. Text field with name Title
2. Rich text field with name description

6. Create Collection News Category
● We can create collection News Category similar to News Item with Title and
Description fields.
● And now we need to add relation between News Item and News Category
● Click on
● Now add new field in News collection of type

7. Relation
Now using this relation we can categorizing News Items (this is similar to
taxonomy in drupal)
