Is the No Child Left Behind Act Beneficial ?
EXCUSE ME ?
The No Child Left Behind Act is an act
signed into law by President George W. Bush

On January 8, 2002. NCLB requires states to
develop assessments in basic skills in order
to receive federal funding.
THE NCLB ACT IS BENEFICIAL
BECAUSE……..

 Allows students and teachers to perform at a higher level.
 Prepares America’s youth for competition with other
countries.

 Raises America’s test scores

IMPORTANT ??????
 I chose this topic because I participated in the No Child Left Behind
program. When I was in middle school I attended another school all three
years. The school was within my county and also the county provided full
transportation to and from the school. After attending middle school I went back

to my districted high school. This project is the perfect way to research what
the act is. So far in my research I have learned a lot about the development of
the act and how it is impacting education in America. I’ve learned so much in
just these few weeks about research as well as how to perform research. I look
forward to the final project and the research that comes with it.

  • 5. IMPORTANT ??????  I chose this topic because I participated in the No Child Left Behind program. When I was in middle school I attended another school all three years. The school was within my county and also the county provided full transportation to and from the school. After attending middle school I went back to my districted high school. This project is the perfect way to research what the act is. So far in my research I have learned a lot about the development of the act and how it is impacting education in America. I’ve learned so much in just these few weeks about research as well as how to perform research. I look forward to the final project and the research that comes with it.
