For this project I was planning to visit some kind of international or ethnic event such a festival
or foreign holiday celebration. However, after spending couple hours of searching on google,
unfortunately I was not able to find any kind of international activities around Denver area that
were scheduled for the end of March. Trip to the any kind of church did not sound very
entertaining and inspiring to me. I am not atheist and do believe that there is some kind of
superstitious force or god out there, but all the church visits and religious rituals or services
bore me to death. So, I decided that church trip would not be such a good idea. Since my last
choice for this project was visiting Ethnic grocery store I got on computer and googled Middle
Eastern grocery stores in Denver . I decided to go with Middle Eastern store and not Asian or

disorder are those such as failure to conform to social norms, conning others, impulsivity,

Heroes can be explained in many different ways. Heroes can be said to have specific features like
being ultimately stronger than everyone else, being able to use special powers to defeat their
enemy, or just being able to accomplish something that they themselves or other people thought that
they could never do. Through many years of studying different cultures and their historic myth,
people are able to come up with a theory on how many of the myths complete their heroic cycle.

A hero can be at the burning house physically helping put out the fire, down the street putting their
life on the line to catch the convict, or in the closest church spreading the word of their religion and
how it has affect their life. Everywhere you go you can always find a hero nearby. The one that
is like family to me that I consider a hero is my elementary teacher. She is there for anyone at any
time. Starting at a young age, she was not always the best or brightest person around. She has
told stories of the things that she has done and the trouble that she and her friends use to cause.
In her late teens she decided this would not be the type of person that she wanted to be and
decided to change the way that she was behaving. She started going to church and found
programs that helped her change her way. After a while she started to reach out to her old
friends and eventually got a few of them to change with her. After a while of this she decided
she needed to help more people and more families and not just the friends and family that she
knows best. She started to go to college and became a teacher that way every year she could help
out at least another twenty kids and their families. For the past 48 years she has continuously
helped out these families year after year. She has also reached out even farther and has helped
children out by being a foster parent. Almost every year she would be given a child or two and
has had to raise the kid for the year until someone was able to properly give them a home. Many of
these children had mental problems from being switched in and out of homes and once she got
them she was able to fully understand them and help them out tremendously, then after a couple
months they were able to find a permanent home where she would send them and then get her next
child. Time after time this was done and she has help more than a dozen children get through this
