The document appears to be lyrics to a song that discusses rising up and staying awake rather than being fake. It encourages Black sisters, brothers, fathers and mothers to rise up together and not try to close their eyes or stop breathing. It references Genesis chapters 1:21,1-23 and Surah 17:10 and 7:13 about God creating Adam and Eve and their role over humanity and creation. It encourages staying wise and thinking giftedly infinitely.
Nigeria has over 500 ethnic groups and while its population and economy are large, it still faces many problems like lack of access to sanitary water. Just over half the population has access to clean water, and thousands die each year from drinking dirty water, lowering life expectancy. To address this, the author proposed a flower-inspired structure that would capture dew in northern Nigeria and provide drinkable water, helping to unite the diverse population. The design is made of wood and bamboo and uses nylon mesh to collect dew, harvesting up to 20 gallons per structure. Placing the design in an area where three ethnic groups meet could bring people together around a shared resource of water.

This document discusses Perl packages and namespaces. It explains that packages are used to specify namespaces and avoid name collisions. Namespaces isolate variables and functions into separate "compartments". The document then discusses how to create packages using the 'package' function and how package scope works. It also covers using the 'our' keyword to declare variables within a specific package and avoid warnings.

For me it became clear, how beautiful research can be, when you take your time
and without the pressure of having to create results, allowing my research to be
body-led as opposed to primarily thought-led, allowing research questions to change
over time – this experience was very inspiring for me, like my own research-travel
which leads to the question: What kind of a researcher do I want to be? How can art
and dance inspire and broaden my creativity within the research process?
STEFFI PIETSCH Scientist | Wissenschaftlerin
dies Letzte hinaus.
There are two kinds of pity. One, the weak and sentimental kind, which is really no more than the
heart's impatience to be rid as quickly as possible of the painful emotion aroused by the sight of
another's unhappiness, that pity which is not compassion, but only an instinctive desire to fortify
one's own soul against the sufferings of another; and the other, the only one at counts, the
unsentimental but creative kind, which knows what it is about and is determined to hold out, in
patience and forbearance, to the very limit of its strength and even beyond.

The Störung/ הפרעהproject shook up my research path, and made it gravitate, once

Dance is an art of the present moment, and in the present, the past and
future of an illness are not relevant. In class, we all explore how to move
forward from the point we are at.

A quote from Yasmeen: “Generosity requires vulnerability.” I feel that there
has been an incredible amount of both in this journey, and that is why we
have all come so far.

ähnlich. Witzig und „Nerds“. Wir machen Dinge und stellen Fragen. Sie

künstlerischen Forschung und der Ästhetisierung der Wissenschaft.
The project for me was an explorative odysee into the realms of artistic research
and the aestheticization of science.

Notation Buro“ der Ohio State University diesen Monat vorgelegt...

not just think about it. The results are a much stronger annotation system for William

In my experience in Störung/Hafraa, I felt that there was a mutual wish to improve the
quality of life for everyone involved in the project. The portal, or Ausgangspunkt for this,
was easing the dis-ease of people whose lives are changed by a cognitive disease called
Parkinson’s. Exchange across disciplinary and personal lines revealed the habituation of
life-strategies: artists vs. scientists, Germans vs. Americans vs. Israelis, older vs.
younger. We began to imagine alternative ways of connecting work, thought, and
embodiment.

I designed a new, huge research project together with two amazing collaborators
and executed completely in two countries. I also collected a database that could be
translated into an entire PhD project, although I have a completely different project
in progress and in mind. I met amazing people who inspired me and drove me to
question my beliefs. Some I hope are becoming good friends and life-long partners.

attraktiver geworden).
I started taking ballet classes (and people tell me I've become more handsome).

I met new bodies of knowledge grounded in different fields of practice that have
inspired me to rethink my academic indoctrination.

I changed the way I look at my objects of research. They have become more human
(although they always were).

In what I have experienced so far in medical research, there is hardly any crossover with
the arts, they are almost belittled, surely also because it is hard to quantitatively evaluate
"art" and it is therefore difficult to incorporate them into Evidence Based Medicine for
example. I am very grateful that this project has once again strengthened my belief in the
importance and the legitimacy of the arts within society and within research.

What would happen to the Parkinson patients if they would feel more at ease not only in
the dance classes but also on the train, while shopping etc.? For the fellow citizens this
would mean becoming more benevolent, for the researchers it would mean finding new
ideas, that make it possible.

"Storung/Hafraa” was about entering the unknown, about being and working outside
of my comfort zone, about challenging my company structure, about using our
expertise as dancers and choreographers to share dance research with new
communities, about creating a multi- generational situation in the studio and
ultimately about cross pollinating and opening myself up to things which have often
challenged me and seemed out of my reach."

viel.
Teaching Capoeira to the Parkinson’s Dancers reminded me why I fell in love with
Capoeira as a kid. To hear from Shlomit that something she learned in my class
made a difference in her life means a lot to me.

This very special project opened up my heart, my mind and the way I usually
perceive art and life itself. The meeting with the scientists and Parkinson's dancers
forced me to incorporate a new and different way of thinking, changed my habits
and the very way I express myself as an artist and a human being.

Parkinson in unserem eigenen Leben?
immer wissen oder fühlen will.
The basic question guiding my research during this project has been: What is Parkinson’s
reflecting back to life? What is it expressing in its own distinct way and what does it have
to reflect back to our existence as human beings? I am still searching, but along the way I
have encountered deeper levels of my own humanity, seeing the places where I accept
and don’t accept what is, things I don’t always want to know or want to feel, and using the
space of this project to go there anyway.

in meinem schaffen.
Through the research, I've discovered new ways I engage with the present in my work. It
changed the way I perform, and opened my mind to a new experience of being in the
moment. I discovered a new layer of freedom inside my movement work.
