This personal presentation describes my journey and the lessons I´ve learned along the way that have shaped who I am and who I´m becoming.

• I´m Martina, a girl born and raised in
Ecuador who grew up in with an
amazing family that taught her the #1
lesson she lives by: navigate life with
kindness, gratitude and love.

2. My family
has been
my compass
• From them I´ve learned the values that
represent me the best such as: empathy,
resilience and teamwork.
• My biggest inspiration is my dad who has
always worked towards his dreams even
in the face of difficulties showing me how
important it is to never give up.
• He has always told me: ¨whatever it is
that you decide to do, do it with passion,
determination & courage¨.

3. • I once heard ¨the best way of learning is by teaching¨
and I discovered this to be true when I became a
teacher.
• My students have taught me to see the world through
their eyes: outside the box, with creativity and without
judgment open to explore and learn from the world
around me. But most importantly: to be MYSELF.

expected…

4. The hardest lesson in my life
had an amazing outcome…
• I have always had a drive to help people in any way I can so when I recovered from my
eating disorder I decided I wanted to make a change in the world and transform a difficult
experience in something valuable with all that I learned from it.
• I studied hard, became a Health Coach and created @martinahealthyeats. Since then, I
have shared tips to heal your relationship with food and excersice along with nourishing
recipes. I have worked with 20+ local food brands, gyms and yoga studios. I have been
invited to podcasts to talk about my story, I´ve supported girls who have been diagnosed
with ED´s in their recovery journey and hosted cooking workshops with over 30+ clients.

5. Falling in love
with excersice
taught me…
• Discipline is key in life & discipline beats talent.
• I have set and achieved my goals keeping in
mind that no matter how hard something might
seem, every expert was a beginner once. I have a
passion for learning new things, for taking
challenges and finding my way through them
with perseverance & resilience.

6. Traveling has
taught me…
That stepping out of one´s comfort zone and trying new things can teach valuable
life lessons such as expanding one´s perspective and understanding of the world,
building relationships and connections and discovering new passions.

How I would do anything to lift my people up to
see them succeed & how important it is to
surround yourself with people that inspire you,
that help you grow, that add up your life and
believe in you…

8. Why do I fit
IE?
• I am a person that believes anything is possible, a
dreamer & hard worker hoping to be a life-long
learner.
• I am ready to go out and get my Masters Degree in a
place I have dreamt of attending for the past few
years and give my everything to make the best of it
with the tools I´ve acquired in my journey!
