When attempting to ratify the Constitution the delegates were split into two different parties which
were the Federalists and Antifederalists. The main difference between the two parties as stated in
We the People was that the Federalists wanted a strong national government while the
Antifederalists wanted a strong state government and were actually against the Constitution that
