My First Time I Went Tubing With My Best Friend Gracye
Overcoming A Fear
I am writing about the time I first went tubing with my best friend Gracye. It happened when I was 13
years old. I was invited for the second time to my best friend s lake house and she forced me to go on
her Parent s speed boat. Before all this took place, on the way to her lake house we watched the Teen
Beach 2 movie and there was a saying in that movie it was Gonna march to the beat; gonna do my
thing this was significant quote because i chanted it while I was tubing when I got scared. When we
got to the lake house Gracye and I unloaded our things along with the stuff for her Mom s party. We
sat on her bed eating Cheez its and Pub Mix while drinking raspberry iced tea, waiting for her Dad to
take us on the lake. While ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When I was whipped off the tube, I had skidded across the water like a skipping rock. When I was
pulled back onto the boat I was cold from being submerged into the lake by the whip. The sun dried
the droplets up in no time and I felt more confident in going back out after telling Mr. Laursen, Gracye
s Dad, to go a whole heck of a lot slower and DO NOT WHIP THE TUBES, at least while I was on

Emptiness In Buddhism
Emptiness in my own words from the Buddhism prospective would be like imagining a person sitting
in their secret place in the lotus position meditating with a basket full of issues or stress triggers. As
you sit there meditating with your eyes closed, focusing on your breathing and then you would start to
empty your mind of each issue found in the basket one by one. You would continue to do this until the
basket is empty, until your mind is empty and until your soul is empty. At that moment is when you
should reach nirvana. I imaged it being this way because of my Christian experienced, it will be the
same process but instead of sitting, you will be on your knees, instead of sitting quietly, you will be
praying and talking to God about each ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Some refer to it as a mental state and some refer to it as purification process. It would be like
combining the emptiness level with wisdom, if I had to explain in my own words.
In comparing and contrasting Theravada, Gelug pa, and Zen. Theravada is a school with Mahayana
Buddhism that teaches the four noble truths and it also includes the eightfold path. Theravadins
believe in and worship deities; Theravadins do not believe in the existence of suffering and evil as a
theological problem. Theravadins teaching includes karma, good karma and bad karma as an
understanding of the Buddhist path and process of purification and perfection. Theravadins objective
for their next life is to have a good rebirth as a human or deity.
Gelug pa is a school of Tibetan Buddhism. Gelug pa is also called the Yellow Hat sect in Tibetan
Buddhism. According to the School of the Dalai Lama, The Yellow Hats took control of the central
plateau until British and Chinese incursions into Tibet in 19th century. The Gelugpa study of logic and
philosophy shamanic experience and became the dominating force in Tibet. The Gelugpa teachings are
continued mainly through the lineage of the Dalai Lama and are still alive in many Western countries
assuming both religious and secular leadership. Tsong Khapa asserts emptiness of inherent existence

Compare And Contrast The Blind Side Movie And Movie
It all depends on who you are, where you come from. The Blind Side is a film based on true events
about a boy named Michael who had a bad family life and nowhere to go. He was discriminated
against because of who he was, the color of his skin and what type of family he had come from. The
Tuohy family picked him up off the streets and took them in as their own. He was then apart of their
family and sent to school. In the film, The Blind Side, the director John Lee Hancock kept some
events the same as the historical event but changed a few details that had occurred in real life in order
to add excitement to the story.
In the story The Blind Side, many of the scenes from the movie are very similar to the happenings in
the historical event. One thing that was similar between the movie and the event was the fact someone
at Briarcrest High School talked people into letting Michel into the school. According to the article
The Blind Side (2009) , the football coach at Briarcrest, Hugh Freeze (referred to as Burt Cotton in the
movie), did encourage his colleagues to accept Michael s application. . Additionally, the man who
played Michael Oher and the actual Michael Oher himself were very similar characters. In reality,
Aaron, who plays him, has an appealing gentle giant presence. (Gleiberman). In both the movie and
real life both men seem to have a gentle, kind personality making each of their appearances extremely
similar. As you can see, both the real events and the

Some Of The Things We See Our Everyday Life Like Movies
Shawn Scott Professor Stief English 1302.707 22 April 2017 Title Some of the things we see in our
everyday life like movies, television shows, or commercials depict different stereotypes of men. Men
are depicted to be people who are careless, make stupid mistakes, are self centered, independent, and
strong. They bring the money home and support the family, and the stars of the show but are often
incapable of solving the simplists of problems. In these examples there are many times women in the
background that hold everything together. These ideas can shape expectations and can be influential to
young viewers. Men in most movies are depicted as the bad guys. In all movies, with the exception of
superhero movies, men are the ones that do ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In the movie Friday Night Lights Boobie Miles makes sure that he is glorified over everyone else on
his team. Miles was the type of guy that would do anything and everything to get people s eyes on
him.In one scene the Panthers were beating a team really bad and as it got toward the end of the game,
the coach wanted to put in the second string running back. Boobie could not have this so he hid the
other running back s helmet so the coach would have no choice but to keep Boobie in the game. This
movie makes it seem that if you are not an athlete you are lesser of a person. Young people could take
the concept of a team as unimportant because of this movie. The film would promote the idea that it is
only up to one s self to have success and not the other individuals on the field. Being an athlete could
also become an excuse for getting away with things. In Friday Night Lights Boobie Miles uses the fact
that he is a really good athlete to take advantage of things he would not be able to get away with if he
was not a popular football player in his town. One thing that he does try to get away with is not doing
any school work. Younger viewers could get the idea from this movie that by being an athlete, you can
get away with things you should not get away with and gain the power to treat individuals poorly.
Guys, in television shows, are also depicted to be worry free and careless, and

Intestones Research Paper
A rumbling, growling stomach can be a source of embarrassment. Borborygmi sounds seem much
louder to those experiencing the sounds. However, most of these noises are inaudible. When awake,
intestines rhythmically move as the walls contract and relax to mix food with fluids and move it gently
along. The occasional peristaltic wave may be heard as intestinal contents are moved. This is what
causes us to hear stomach noises.
Borborygmus, a rumbling or gurgling noise made by the movement of fluid and gas in the intestines,
is a normal phenomenon that can happen to anyone, anywhere (Dictionary.com, and Hofmeister).
Within the intestines, ingested fluids and solids are combined with about eight liters of enzyme rich
fluid (IFFGD). Fluid moving through a tube is silent (IFFGD). It is only when there is air that it is
audible (IFFGD). In the intestine gases come from swallowed air and the release of hydrogen, carbon
dioxide, and some other gases by the bacterial evaporation of undigested food in the lower gut
(IFFGD). Even when inaudible to the owner, sounds may be heard by a doctor using a stethoscope
(IFFGD). While the movement of fluids and gases occurs at all levels, the most audible sounds come
from the stomach (IFFGD). ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
While transporting partially digested food, air gets shifted too (Hofmeister). This creates sound
vibrations (Hofmeister). In the small intestine and stomach, air makes noise like blowing bubbles
through a straw (Hofmeister). This air is moving either towards the stomach or toward the buttocks
(Hofmeister). Being hungry causes more muscle contractions flare, because the digestive system must
clear out remains of the last meal eaten to prepare for the next foods (Hofmeister). Eating can help
calm the contractions, also muffling the sounds

Dental Braces Research Paper
Life After the Braces Come Off
A vast majority of patients who wear dental braces, do so for an average of 18 to 36 months.
However, there are some who may need to wear their orthodontic hardware for a longer period since
each situation and each person s individual dental health needs differ. Regardless of how long you
wear your dental braces, they are not a permanent, lifetime commitment. There will come a time when
your dental braces will be removed and you will need to adhere to an appropriate aftercare plan as part
of the transition process. Caring dentists in Silver Spring, MD, can help you with braces.
What can I Expect When My Braces are Removed?
Once your braces are removed, your dentist will want to determine the level of progress your teeth
made during the time that you wore the orthodontic hardware. In order for him or her to do that, the
dentist will give your teeth a good, thorough cleaning, take some dental images, and may also take
some bite impressions to make a comparison and see what progress was made. Your dentist will also
check to determine if your wisdom teeth have come in. If they have, then your dentist may discuss
removing them since they could ultimately affect your newly straightened teeth and set your progress

While having your braces taken off may sound like a burst of freedom, and a return to normal life
again, that is not entirely true. Wearing braces is a kind of intense dental therapy and after spending
that much of your precious time to accomplish a straight, beautiful smile, one of the last things you
want to do is to disrupt the progress that you made and allow your teeth to return to their former
positions. With that said, after your dental braces have been removed, your dentist may recommend
that you wear a dental retainer for a period of time to prevent your teeth from slipping back into their
former positions.

Writing Is Defined As Fun
In my opinion, writing is defined as fun, a way to be creative and a way to help me clear my mind. It
allows me to express my own individuality. Writing may be known as a bore to others who cant seem
to find their own writing style, but if you have that gift of writing it comes easy no matter what subject
or topic. That s where my liking for writing comes in. I ve always been able to take a topic and write
about it without any problems. Once my brain gets going, its hard to stop.
Several years ago, I found my passion for writing. I was sitting in English class, the lights dimmed and
everyone starring into the teachers soul as she explained an writing assignment we had to do. She told
us to make up a story about what we thought the future was going to be like when we became adults.
At first, the topic didn t interest me. I felt as if the future was going to be the same as it was at that
time. I didn t know what to write. It was way too cold in the class and the scents of pumpkin pie and
sweaty gym socks surrounding the air didn t seem to help the situation much either. After a few
minutes of thinking, so many ideas popped in my head, I didn t know how to control it. I started
jotting down everything that came to mind, then I went back to organize it so I could start writing.
Once my teacher seen what I was doing, she asked Who taught you this technique? I told her it s just
something I ve always done, she then told me that s a good technique to have and that it ll

Semiotics In That 70s Show
Introduction Semiotics can be defined as the study of symbols and signs particularly with regard to
how they are used to create meaning and communicate it to others. Semiotics also offers tools that
make it possible to uncover the cultural conventions and codes that highlight the period to which a
setting was placed and interpret meanings behind the symbols (Berger, 2014). In the pilot episode of
That 70s Show , it is possible to apply semiotic analysis since there are various signs and symbols that
reveal different elements of the show. Different signifiers in the episode and what they portray helps
the audience to interpret the message that the producer is trying to convey. That 70s Show has a large
presence of signs, signifiers, codes and ideologies that relate to teenage relationships and their lives in
general during the 1970s. Additionally, it is important to highlight character placement and the
semiotics involved pertaining to the viewers.
Parents son relationship The character Eric and his father form an important conflict in the storyline.

Korean War despite the fact that he fought in it and he has a difficult time adapting to the changing
times. Most ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Although the producer does not make this evident, there are several signs that highlight this point. For
one, there is one teenager who would be holding a stick of incense and behind them the audience can
see smoke clouds behind this group. This normally signifies the use of drugs and in particular
marijuana. It is also evident from the teenagers reactions that they are under the influence of
marijuana. They laugh uncontrollably and their statements do not seem to make sense. The camera
also pans from one individual to the other to symbolize the passing of the

Software Developments Projects Bureaucratic Government...
Abstract This paper looks at software developments projects in bureaucratic government environment.
It will focus mainly on the FBI Sentinel project and its development. It will look at the failures that the
project has faced, the size of teams, the project management, and the financials of the project. Lastly,
it will take a look at what factors lead to the success of the project. Introduction April 1995, a truck
bomb explosion outside the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, left 168
people dead and hundreds more injured. During the week s trial FBI reported that it had not disclosed
all of the available evidence to the defense attorney because they forgot or lost it. This was due to FBI

Year after year the project deadline kept on getting pushed back until in April 2005 and one hundred
and seventy million dollars later, the project was cancelled. Attempt 2 With the VCF project cancelled
the FBI was left to rely on the old case file management system and the tedious manual procedures. In
need for a new system, a new project plan was written up to replace what the failed VCF project was
supposed to bring. The new project was called the Sentinel. The aim for Sentinel was the same as
VCF, to bring a web based case file management system. Sentinel, just like VCF, would begin to be
developed using waterfall approach. Lockheed Martin was the contractor hired to develop Sentinel
with a budget of four hundred and twenty five million dollars with a 3 year deadline. Learning from
the previous failure, the project was to be delivered in two phases of twelve months. The first phase
was to give user a new simple web interface which allows them to interact with the old complicated
system in the background. There were no new features added at this point, the new screens just
allowed agents to interact with the old system through a Web browser [2]. Also, learning from the first
failure, this time around the auditors would look over every detail of the project or in other terms,
micro manage the contractor. Two months late, fifty seven critical

Analysis Of Long Day s Journey Into The Night And The Enemy
In the two readings of Eugene O Neill s Long Day s Journey Into the Night and Margarita Spalding
Gerry s The Enemy , we can compare and contrast the main characters of the women in each reading
on behalf of their drug addiction. In Eugene O Neill s Long Day s Journey Into the Night, Mary
Tyrone struggles with her addiction of Morphine and in Margarita Spalding Gerry s The Enemy , Mrs.
Campbell also struggles with morphine addiction. In both readings we can compare and contrast each
of these women s lifestyles and how they are affected by their morphine addiction. In both readings,
these two women were prescribed morphine by their doctors. In Long Day s Journey Into the Night,
Mary Tyrone is prescribed morphine for her so called Rheumatism and Mrs. Cambell from The
Enemy was prescribed morphine for some slight neuralgic trouble, after analyzing both texts, it seems
like the reasons for their morphine prescription is just a cover up for a different and a more deep
reasoning to kill their pain. In The Enemy the doctor is blamed for prescribing Mrs. Campbell
morphine just to make a profit, Oh yes, there are always druggists that pander to anything with a profit
Both doctors can be put at fault for the start of their addiction for prescribing morphine to someone
who does not necessarily need it. By prescribing morphine to these women, they have an excuse to
continue their use of morphine because they believe they have a logical problem that they need to
control. In Long Day s Journey Into the Night, Mary recognizes her doctor is all in it for profit, I hate
doctors! They ll do anything anything to keep them coming to them. They ll sell their souls! What s
worse, they ll sell yours, and you never know it till one day you find yourself in hell! (P.76) Even
though Mary recognizes the truth behind these doctors, she stills uses her Rheumatism disease as a
legitimate excuse to use morphine as she explains to her son Edmund that she shouldn t be ashamed of
her addiction, I suffer from rheumatism in my hands and have to take medicine to kill the pain? Why
should I be ashamed of that? (P. 118) The more in depth cause of these addictions may be affected by
cultural expectations of their

An Analysis Of Haraway s Manifesto Manifesto Essay
In a world invested in (overly) determined biological authenticity, its margins will be populated by the
identified and self identifying cyborgs. This is not a coincidence. Haraway s Manifesto strongly
suggests that in such a mixed subjugated population emergent opportunities for political alliances
based on affinities thrives. She reminds us that cyborgs do not/cannot respect traditional boundaries
and are therefore driven by survival (294) imperatives to reach across, to break through, to shatter
windows and ceilings, to ultimately be fluid and flow between hardened boundaries and between
worlds of status quo. In other words, to not only create patchwork identities but to construct political
understandings and positions through patchwork or coalition politics. For alliances to work there must
first be alignments. Haraway locates these through Sandoval (2000) who in Methodology for The
Oppressed, notes a connectivity between the mestiza consciousness that emerges from the Anzalduan
borderlands where feminists of color keep intact shifting and multiple identities with integrity and
love and the commitment to partiality, irony, intimacy and perversity of cyborgs (168) . It becomes
salient to highlight how these shifting and multiple identities are survival mechanisms activated in
response to being othered by dominant politics and those who espouse them. Both feminists of color
and cyborgs have utilized these mechanisms by recreating themselves in response,

During Rule Of Emperor Justinian Of The Eastern Roman Empire,
During rule of Emperor Justinian of the Eastern Roman Empire, a cycle of recurring plagues started in
the year 541 A.D. This plague cycle would disappear and reappear in roughly eleven year cycles. The
last strike of this plague cycle was in 747 in Naples. This series of plagues were called the Justinian
plague named after Emperor Justinian s rule and it is also referred to as the early medieval pandemic
(EMP). The severity of this plague was high being that Procopius of Caesarea, a Urban Prefect of
Constantinople stated that the plague fell upon the whole world, yet just as many people escaped as
had the misfortune to succumb either because they escaped the infection altogether, or because they
got over it if they happened to be ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It may seem like an outlandish claim by Procopius to put the blame for plague on Justinian however
he is not far from the truth. Justinian was not a demon in human form however his expansionism did
opened a large area of the Empire and increased internal travel distance allowing for the plague to
spread throughout the Mediterranean.
Justinian s rule before the plague was stable however during the plague the stability of his rule
plummeted. As stated before, during the plague Justinian drew blame from his people because of the
devastation. However the plague reduced population drastically, those on arable areas by one half in
fifty years and those in dry areas by a lesser amount. It created a great depression, forced readjustment
of population, altered relations among parts of the Empire, and created conditions which were
sensitive to accidents. The loss of life combined with a economic depression greatly lowered the
stability of the Empire however they were not the only factors that affect the stability of the realm. To
protect the economy Justinian order an edict that froze prices and wages pre plague levels however As
with all such wage and price freezes, Justinian s edict served mostly to exaggerate the problems they
were intended to solve. Shortages of fuel, food and most relevantly for an empire now fighting a two

Enrollment for minority college students has been increasing (Krogstad Fry, 2014).
From 1996 2012, college enrollment among Hispanics ages 18 24, has increase 240% and African
American enrollment has increase 72% (Krogstad Fry, 2014).
Racial/ethnic minority college students are often faced with unique stressors, such as minority status
stress (Cokley, McClain, Enciso, Martinez (2013).
Minority status stress is caused by factors such as racism, discrimination, educational hegemony,
microaggressions, and feelings of not belonging on a college campus (Cokley, et al., 2013).
Minority status stress can lead to imposter feelings, which has been linked to negative mental health
concerns, such as depression (Cokley, et al., 2013).
According to the 2007 2008 National Postsecondary Student Aid Study, the college remediation rate
for Hispanics/Latinxs was 43% and 41% for African Americans (Roscoe, 2015).

Juxtaposition In Shakespeare
In much of literature there exists the juxtaposition of the natural world vs. the unnatural. Human s
effect on nature and how it, in turn, influences us, is a crucial theme in many classic works. In
Shakespeare s play As You Like It, the initial setting is in the court, however, the characters are soon
introduced to the Forest of Ardenne where the magic and the differences of the natural world are clear.
Shakespeare uses this juxtaposition of settings to contrast the values of each environment and create
resolution for all characters at the end of the play. In the second scene of AYLI, it is established that
Duke Senior, Rosalind s father, has been banished to the Forest of Ardenne by his brother, Duke
Frederick. Although banished usually ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
From the court, there is Duke Senior, Duke Frederick, Rosalind, Touchstone, Celia, Orlando and
Oliver, characters that are often described as pretty or able to speak well. This highlights their more
dignified, educated backgrounds. Many of them are witty and engage in clever banter throughout the
play that gives them a more sophisticated quality. Then there are the country characters: Silvius,
Corin, Phebe, William, and Audrey. These characters are obviously less educated, having spent their
entire lives in the forest, farming. Their lack of intelligence in the court sense, is shown through the
incompatibility of dialogue between city and country characters. For example, Audrey and Touchstone
often have issue while talking because Audrey does not know the definition of certain words such as
foul and poetical. When she attempts to use these words, incorrectly so, her country idiocy is
amplified. The discrepancy between country and court characters is also demonstrated in Touchstone s
encounter with William, Audrey s former lover who describes himself as witty. Touchstone arrogantly
brushes this notion aside, asserting that only fools call themselves witty. This scene portrays William
as a kind of country bumpkin and establishes the idea that while the country may seem like a good
solution for city woes, it should not necessarily be considered a permanent solution, because the
benefits of court life, in this case education, are

Pamela Meyer Liar
Pamela Meyer in her speech identify different concept of communication through which one can
identify a liar. The speaker attributes speech, body language, confidences and other distinctive features
that are used to identify a liar. She attributes day to day activities as the environments at which liars
may exist. The speaker s ideas are based on assumptions and personal components. The ideas
highlighted by the speaker could be applicable to some instances but may fail to reflect the truth of the
matter. There is need to analyze this concept with respect to various concepts. The speaker effectively
proofs her point but fails to acknowledge exceptions within her speech. The essay will focus on the
main points highlighted by the author and use them to identify the authenticity of the speech.
Perceptions and personal opinions could differ from the reality. The manner in which a person
presents his or her points could be either persuasive or misleading. In Meyer s speech, she emphasizes

The Positive Aspects Of Stereotypes
In todays world everyone has their own stereotypes, whether they are positive stereotypes of negative
stereotypes. They can also be true or false in a sense of being rational and just being ignorant.
Stereotypes are used today to give groups an image of what most people claim for that group to be
like. Normally when someone is referring to or using the word stereotype they are referring to a
collective, professors are smart, firemen are fearless, etc. Humans are around unfamiliar areas or
groups they are uncertain about; they tend to use the little knowledge that exists to themselves to
reduce uncertainty about the situation. To a lesser degree one knows about the situation the more
stereotypical thoughts are made and used. Simple auto stereotype is the term referred to when
referring to members of a nationality. Thoughts on this is idea is that everyone will have their own
thoughts and ideas with other groups. Knowing less about different nationalities is the reason for
stereotype thoughts towards them. I am from a small town called Perry, Georgia and here numerous
amount of Indians own gas stations throughout town. The. Stereotype the community created for the
Indian gas station is that they are cheap. The Indian gas stations have all the cheap snacks, drinks, they

become exceedingly important in understanding the relationship between culture and personality. This
is why the Five Factor Model is the dominant view in society today. These five dimensions are
conscientiousness, neuroticism, extraversion, openness to experience and agreeableness. Many
premature studies have provided support for the cross cultural validity of the Five Factor Model. Allik

location, but, geographically recognized historically close cultures had more similar personality
profiles. In the end the results to date provide strong

largest in the world. Since, their GDP is at that amount their GDP per capita is at 33,633.71 per

Dissociative Identity Disorder ( Mpd ) Essay
Dissociative identity disorder (DID) or Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD) is a mental illness where
an individual expresses multiple personalities that may or may not be aware of each other. In ancient
times, near the middle ages, DID was thought to be due to possession due to the fact mental illnesses
back then had a supernatural theory attached to them. However, the DSM 5 has cleared up that theory
and describes the actual symptoms and theories that appear within an individual that are diagnosed
with DID. Clinicians usually have a difficult time diagnosing dissociative identity disorder due to the
fact that numerous clinicians do not receive enough training about the disorder and there is still some
skeptics today on whether DID actually exists. According to Putnam (1989), dissociative identity
disorder comes with a large amount of symptoms which include depressed moods and mood swings,
different personalities in a person s psyche, amnesia/time loss, anxiety and exhibit phobic like
behavior, substance abuse, hallucinations, delusions, thought disorder, suicidal behaviors and may self
mutilate, may exhibit catatonic behaviors, and may display transsexualism and transvestism behaviors
(p.57 65). The reason for depressive symptoms is because individuals with personalities disorder tend
to demonstrate low self esteem and have a terrible outlook on life. According to Putnam (1989), these
depressive symptoms are the most common in DID

Theme Of Violence In A Clockwork Orange And Bonnie And Clyde
Paramount themes of violence and extensive uses of graphic imagery are imperative motifs in the
classic films, A Clockwork Orange and Bonnie and Clyde. Comparably, these two films use the
element of violence to add insight to characters, environment, and further evoke emotions from
audiences alike. Directors Stanley Kubrick and Arthur Penn began to push the boundaries of what is
deemed acceptable in the film industry by introducing unprecedented levels of graphic content and
directional methods of displaying such. On one hand, A Clockwork Orange was released to American
audiences under an X rating due to its brash depictions of violence, rape, sex, and crude language
(Thrawn, Clockwork Orange the X Rating ). Regardless, Kubrick chose to include the entirety of what
was described in the novella due to its integral part in shaping the dystopian environment and main
character Alex McDowell. Narrations of our protagonist s innermost thoughts accompanied by the true
colors of his actions aides in building a complete understanding of societal and personal morals.
Bonnie and Clyde similarly uses the harsh reality of violence as a tool to help set the overall tone of
the film. The story of famous outlaws, Bonnie and Clyde, is glorified as well as equally condemned
through graphic and bloody shootouts where they can be seen ruthlessly taking the lives of innocent
people. The choice to amplify the intensity of violence in this movie is cohesive in laying the
framework for character values within the two and creates a much more dramatic depiction of the
infamous crimes that took place in the 30 s. Throughout both of these films, audiences are given the
raw imagery necessary to create accurate and theatrical depictions of our characters actions that define
their personalities and surroundings.
During the 1960 s, as cultural values changed, revisions were made regarding the film rating system
previously established by the Motion Picture Association of America. This change opened up the door
to take more artistic freedom when producing their movies (Dirks, Film History of the 1960s ).
Although Bonnie and Clyde was released a year before the update, we can still see the progressive
approach towards violence through

As you can see from the image, the uTorrent.exe 3.4.0 was installing other executable file with two

folder directory that is named utt37C5.tmp. The user would not think anything of it because it looks
like a temporary file only. This is because in Windows operating system the option Hide Extensions
for Known File types is marked with a check (activated) by default. The user will never notice the .exe
extension file, the only thing the user will notice was the .tmp and this trick is called extension

After running the uTorrent.exe 3.4.0 I in Sandboxie I was still not satisfied with the results. The next
step I executed the uTorrent 3.4.0 in a clean copy of Windows Vista and dumped the RAM to see if
these malware do really exist. After allowing the uTorrent.exe ran for awhile in a clean Windows Vista
OS, I then used the tool called DumpIt.exe to dump the memory RAM for later examination. To read
the strings and data in raw memory dump I used the tool called HxD (hexeditor). After examining the
raw dump memory I found numerous packers, scrambler, encrypter and junk code that came with
uTorrent.exe 3.4.0.
As you can from the image, all these reside in the memory after installing the uTorrent.exe. What is
interesting is they re all sitting there silently without the user s knowledge.

My Client, Tony Martin
My client, Tony Martin, has been employed by Eagle Airlines as a mechanic at its repair facility. He
initially worked at the Minneapolis Saint Paul Airport. However, Eagle Airlines reduced its Minnesota
staff, and consequently, eliminated his job in early 2011. Tony utilized his union seniority to acquire a
similar job by bumping a Chicago mechanic, but Eagle downsized its Chicago operations as well. As a
result, a few months later, Tony ended up working in the LaGuardia, New York Airport. Finally, he
bumped an Anchorage mechanic to conclude with a job in that airport. However, he ran out of
seniority and was permanently fired by Eagle Airlines. Tony kept his family and residence in the
Minneapolis area throughout his work assignments in New York, Chicago, and Anchorage.
Consequently, Tony deducted his entire out of town expenses, to include meals and lodging, as work
expenses. The issue at hand is to establish if this determination of his expenses as work related was
appropriate. Therefore, I must ascertain if Tony s travel expenses were considered incurred while he
was away from home. The Internal Revenue Code Section 162, Trade or Business Expenses, notes
that only expenses that are ordinary and necessary that are paid or incurred for the taxpayer s trade or
business are deductible. Tony s expenses for meals and lodging can be considered to be ordinary and
necessary, but the issue at hand is to determine if these expenses were considered incurred when Tony

Comparison of Anthem for Doomed Youth and An Irish Airman...
Comparison of Anthem for Doomed Youth and An Irish Airman Foresees His Death William Butler
Yeats has written many pieces of literature, mainly about Ireland as that is his passion and cause of
writing. However his poem An Irish Airman Foresees His Death is not solely about Ireland and even
though it includes that theme it is rather a criticism of apathetic people who have no reason for going
to war. The form of Yeats poem is very structured and regular. The rhyme scheme is ABAB the whole
way through the poem and has an unstressed, stressed beat every time. The poem is made up of one
sixteen lined stanza and has a straight forward structure. Yeats has used this format for emphasis to get
his point across. He has made the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The poem is a sonnet and is divided into an octet and a sestet because focus of the poem changes from
the battle field to home images and the division is a good way to show that. The rhyme scheme is
more irregular than An Irish Airman Foresees His Death as the lines aren t all totally the same rhythm.
Owen has made the poems form confusing and chaotic as that is how he sees war to be. WB Yeats has
made the tone of his poem cold and lacking in emotion. This is shown from the very beginning,
including in the title. The title of the poem is An Irish Airman Foresees his Death and because it is a
person anticipating their death, it is a very serious matter. However Yeats has made this line just a
statement showing us that the poem is very unemotional. Yeats has composed the rest of the poem
using only statements also, showing no heightening of emotion. He has made the poems tone this way
as this is how he wants to present Major Robert Gregory as being. Yeats forces him to speak in such a
way that he is shown to be pessimistic about life and an uninspiring person. He makes this clear when
Gregory says, Those I fight I do not hate, Those that I guard I do not love; Here the emotional impact
is minimised because even though the words hate and love are quite strong, they are contrasted against
each other and also used with I do not so it is balanced out

Basic Characteristics Of Am Technologies
Ayman Meckael 2567584
1) Make a list of different characteristics of AM technologies as a means to compare with CNC
machining. Under what circumstances do AM have the advantage and under what would CNC?
Materials
CNC machining it works particularly well for hard, relatively brittle materials like steels and other
metal alloys to produce high accuracy parts with well defined properties and normally be more
homogeneous and predictable in quality.
AM parts, in contrast, may have voids or anisotropy that are a function of part orientation, process
parameters or how the design was input to the machine.
Speed
High speed CNC machining can generally remove material much faster than AM machines can add a
similar volume of material. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Certain parts cannot be fabricated by CNC unless they are broken up into components and
reassembled at a later stage. Consider, for example, the possibility of machining a ship inside a bottle.
Most likely you would machine both elements separately and work out a way to combine them
together as an assembly and/or joining process. With AM you can build the ship and the bottle all at
once.
An expert in machining must analyze each part prior to it being built to ensure that it can be built and
to determine what methods need to be used. While it is still possible that some parts cannot be built
with AM, the most likely is much lower and there are generally ways in which this may be overcome
without too much difficulty.
Accuracy
AM machines generally operate with a resolution of a few tens of microns. It is common for AM
machines to also have different resolution along different orthogonal axes. The vertical build axis
corresponds to layer thickness and this would be of a lower resolution compared with the two axes in
the build plane.
Accuracy in the build plane is determined by the positioning of the build mechanism, which will
normally involve gearboxes and motors. This mechanism may also determine the minimum feature
size as well.
The accuracy of CNC machines is mainly determined by a similar positioning resolution along all
three orthogonal axes and by the diameter of the rotary cutting tools. There are factors that

Straight Outta Stereotypes
Main Characters
The film Straight Outta Compton directed by Gary Gray is about the trendsetting rap group Niggas
With Attitudes (N.W.A). The film shows a timeline of the rise of fall of the rap group. N.W.A can be
considered a notorious because their lyrics publicized and glamourized the gangsta lifestyle . The
founding members of N.W.A, and main characters in the film are Eazy E, Ice Cube and Dr. Dre.
Eazy E
Eric Wright, but known as Eazy E was the frontline man of N.W.A. Before, the group was formed he

Since the men lived in impoverished households and neighborhood, it influenced them to make
irrational decisions. For example, Eazy E sold drugs because he wanted quick money. Although, he

issue was police harassment. The film showed two instances, when they were randomly stopped and
searched by the police. This enraged them, and give them motive to be against police officers. Lastly,
a cultural issue is the use of violence to solve problems. For example, Ice Cube smashed an office of a
record label because of a money issue, which in return that aggression got him the money he wanted.
Also, Dr. Dre got out of his contract with Ruthless record, by having someone beat up

  • 2. My First Time I Went Tubing With My Best Friend Gracye Overcoming A Fear I am writing about the time I first went tubing with my best friend Gracye. It happened when I was 13 years old. I was invited for the second time to my best friend s lake house and she forced me to go on her Parent s speed boat. Before all this took place, on the way to her lake house we watched the Teen Beach 2 movie and there was a saying in that movie it was Gonna march to the beat; gonna do my thing this was significant quote because i chanted it while I was tubing when I got scared. When we got to the lake house Gracye and I unloaded our things along with the stuff for her Mom s party. We sat on her bed eating Cheez its and Pub Mix while drinking raspberry iced tea, waiting for her Dad to take us on the lake. While ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... • 3. Emptiness In Buddhism Emptiness in my own words from the Buddhism prospective would be like imagining a person sitting in their secret place in the lotus position meditating with a basket full of issues or stress triggers. As you sit there meditating with your eyes closed, focusing on your breathing and then you would start to empty your mind of each issue found in the basket one by one. You would continue to do this until the basket is empty, until your mind is empty and until your soul is empty. At that moment is when you should reach nirvana. I imaged it being this way because of my Christian experienced, it will be the same process but instead of sitting, you will be on your knees, instead of sitting quietly, you will be praying and talking to God about each ... It would be like combining the emptiness level with wisdom, if I had to explain in my own words. In comparing and contrasting Theravada, Gelug pa, and Zen. Theravada is a school with Mahayana Buddhism that teaches the four noble truths and it also includes the eightfold path. Theravadins believe in and worship deities; Theravadins do not believe in the existence of suffering and evil as a theological problem. Theravadins teaching includes karma, good karma and bad karma as an understanding of the Buddhist path and process of purification and perfection. Theravadins objective for their next life is to have a good rebirth as a human or deity. Gelug pa is a school of Tibetan Buddhism. Gelug pa is also called the Yellow Hat sect in Tibetan Buddhism. According to the School of the Dalai Lama, The Yellow Hats took control of the central plateau until British and Chinese incursions into Tibet in 19th century. The Gelugpa study of logic and philosophy shamanic experience and became the dominating force in Tibet. • 4. Compare And Contrast The Blind Side Movie And Movie It all depends on who you are, where you come from. The Blind Side is a film based on true events about a boy named Michael who had a bad family life and nowhere to go. He was discriminated against because of who he was, the color of his skin and what type of family he had come from. The Tuohy family picked him up off the streets and took them in as their own. He was then apart of their family and sent to school. In the film, The Blind Side, the director John Lee Hancock kept some events the same as the historical event but changed a few details that had occurred in real life in order to add excitement to the story. In the story The Blind Side, many of the scenes from the movie are very similar to the happenings in the historical event. One thing that was similar between the movie and the event was the fact someone at Briarcrest High School talked people into letting Michel into the school. According to the article The Blind Side (2009) , the football coach at Briarcrest, Hugh Freeze (referred to as Burt Cotton in the movie), did encourage his colleagues to accept Michael s application. . Additionally, the man who played Michael Oher and the actual Michael Oher himself were very similar characters. In reality, Aaron, who plays him, has an appealing gentle giant presence. (Gleiberman). In both the movie and real life both men seem to have a gentle, kind personality making each of their appearances extremely similar. As you can see, both the real events and the ... • 5. Some Of The Things We See Our Everyday Life Like Movies Shawn Scott Professor Stief English 1302.707 22 April 2017 Title Some of the things we see in our everyday life like movies, television shows, or commercials depict different stereotypes of men. Men are depicted to be people who are careless, make stupid mistakes, are self centered, independent, and strong. They bring the money home and support the family, and the stars of the show but are often incapable of solving the simplists of problems. In these examples there are many times women in the background that hold everything together. These ideas can shape expectations and can be influential to young viewers. Men in most movies are depicted as the bad guys. In all movies, with the exception of superhero movies, men are the ones that do ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In the movie Friday Night Lights Boobie Miles makes sure that he is glorified over everyone else on his team. Miles was the type of guy that would do anything and everything to get people s eyes on him.In one scene the Panthers were beating a team really bad and as it got toward the end of the game, the coach wanted to put in the second string running back. Boobie could not have this so he hid the other running back s helmet so the coach would have no choice but to keep Boobie in the game. This movie makes it seem that if you are not an athlete you are lesser of a person. Young people could take the concept of a team as unimportant because of this movie. The film would promote the idea that it is only up to one s self to have success and not the other individuals on the field. Being an athlete could also become an excuse for getting away with things. In Friday Night Lights Boobie Miles uses the fact that he is a really good athlete to take advantage of things he would not be able to get away with if he was not a popular football player in his town. One thing that he does try to get away with is not doing any school work. Younger viewers could get the idea from this movie that by being an athlete, you can get away with things you should not get away with and gain the power to treat individuals poorly. • 6. Intestones Research Paper A rumbling, growling stomach can be a source of embarrassment. Borborygmi sounds seem much louder to those experiencing the sounds. However, most of these noises are inaudible. When awake, intestines rhythmically move as the walls contract and relax to mix food with fluids and move it gently along. The occasional peristaltic wave may be heard as intestinal contents are moved. This is what causes us to hear stomach noises. Borborygmus, a rumbling or gurgling noise made by the movement of fluid and gas in the intestines, is a normal phenomenon that can happen to anyone, anywhere (Dictionary.com, and Hofmeister). Within the intestines, ingested fluids and solids are combined with about eight liters of enzyme rich fluid (IFFGD). Fluid moving through a tube is silent (IFFGD). It is only when there is air that it is audible (IFFGD). In the intestine gases come from swallowed air and the release of hydrogen, carbon dioxide, and some other gases by the bacterial evaporation of undigested food in the lower gut (IFFGD). Even when inaudible to the owner, sounds may be heard by a doctor using a stethoscope (IFFGD). While the movement of fluids and gases occurs at all levels, the most audible sounds come from the stomach (IFFGD). ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... • 7. Dental Braces Research Paper Life After the Braces Come Off A vast majority of patients who wear dental braces, do so for an average of 18 to 36 months. However, there are some who may need to wear their orthodontic hardware for a longer period since each situation and each person s individual dental health needs differ. Regardless of how long you wear your dental braces, they are not a permanent, lifetime commitment. There will come a time when your dental braces will be removed and you will need to adhere to an appropriate aftercare plan as part of the transition process. Caring dentists in Silver Spring, MD, can help you with braces. What can I Expect When My Braces are Removed? Once your braces are removed, your dentist will want to determine the level of progress your teeth made during the time that you wore the orthodontic hardware. In order for him or her to do that, the dentist will give your teeth a good, thorough cleaning, take some dental images, and may also take some bite impressions to make a comparison and see what progress was made. Your dentist will also check to determine if your wisdom teeth have come in. If they have, then your dentist may discuss removing them since they could ultimately affect your newly straightened teeth and set your progress ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... • 8. Writing Is Defined As Fun In my opinion, writing is defined as fun, a way to be creative and a way to help me clear my mind. It allows me to express my own individuality. Writing may be known as a bore to others who cant seem to find their own writing style, but if you have that gift of writing it comes easy no matter what subject or topic. That s where my liking for writing comes in. I ve always been able to take a topic and write about it without any problems. Once my brain gets going, its hard to stop. Several years ago, I found my passion for writing. I was sitting in English class, the lights dimmed and everyone starring into the teachers soul as she explained an writing assignment we had to do. She told us to make up a story about what we thought the future was going to be like when we became adults. At first, the topic didn t interest me. I felt as if the future was going to be the same as it was at that time. I didn t know what to write. It was way too cold in the class and the scents of pumpkin pie and sweaty gym socks surrounding the air didn t seem to help the situation much either. After a few minutes of thinking, so many ideas popped in my head, I didn t know how to control it. I started jotting down everything that came to mind, then I went back to organize it so I could start writing. Once my teacher seen what I was doing, she asked Who taught you this technique? I told her it s just something I ve always done, she then told me that s a good technique to have and that it ll ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 9. Semiotics In That 70s Show Introduction Semiotics can be defined as the study of symbols and signs particularly with regard to how they are used to create meaning and communicate it to others. Semiotics also offers tools that make it possible to uncover the cultural conventions and codes that highlight the period to which a setting was placed and interpret meanings behind the symbols (Berger, 2014). In the pilot episode of That 70s Show , it is possible to apply semiotic analysis since there are various signs and symbols that reveal different elements of the show. Different signifiers in the episode and what they portray helps the audience to interpret the message that the producer is trying to convey. That 70s Show has a large presence of signs, signifiers, codes and ideologies that relate to teenage relationships and their lives in general during the 1970s. Additionally, it is important to highlight character placement and the semiotics involved pertaining to the viewers. Parents son relationship The character Eric and his father form an important conflict in the storyline. His father, Red, is a conservative war veteran who is an all American and very patriotic. It will focus mainly on the FBI Sentinel project and its development. It will look at the failures that the project has faced, the size of teams, the project management, and the financials of the project. Lastly, it will take a look at what factors lead to the success of the project. Introduction April 1995, a truck bomb explosion outside the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, left 168 people dead and hundreds more injured. During the week s trial FBI reported that it had not disclosed all of the available evidence to the defense attorney because they forgot or lost it. This was due to FBI using old/complex ... Year after year the project deadline kept on getting pushed back until in April 2005 and one hundred and seventy million dollars later, the project was cancelled. Attempt 2 With the VCF project cancelled the FBI was left to rely on the old case file management system and the tedious manual procedures. In need for a new system, a new project plan was written up to replace what the failed VCF project was supposed to bring. The new project was called the Sentinel. The aim for Sentinel was the same as VCF, to bring a web based case file management system. Sentinel, just like VCF, would begin to be developed using waterfall approach. Lockheed Martin was the contractor hired to develop Sentinel with a budget of four hundred and twenty five million dollars with a 3 year deadline. Learning from the previous failure, the project was to be delivered in two phases of twelve months. The first phase was to give user a new simple web interface which allows them to interact with the old complicated system in the background. There were no new features added at this point, the new screens just allowed agents to interact with the old system through a Web browser [2]. Also, learning from the first failure, this time around the auditors would look over every detail of the project or in other terms, micro manage the contractor. • 11. Analysis Of Long Day s Journey Into The Night And The Enemy In the two readings of Eugene O Neill s Long Day s Journey Into the Night and Margarita Spalding Gerry s The Enemy , we can compare and contrast the main characters of the women in each reading on behalf of their drug addiction. In Eugene O Neill s Long Day s Journey Into the Night, Mary Tyrone struggles with her addiction of Morphine and in Margarita Spalding Gerry s The Enemy , Mrs. Campbell also struggles with morphine addiction. In both readings we can compare and contrast each of these women s lifestyles and how they are affected by their morphine addiction. In both readings, these two women were prescribed morphine by their doctors. In Long Day s Journey Into the Night, Mary Tyrone is prescribed morphine for her so called Rheumatism and Mrs. Cambell from The Enemy was prescribed morphine for some slight neuralgic trouble, after analyzing both texts, it seems like the reasons for their morphine prescription is just a cover up for a different and a more deep reasoning to kill their pain. In The Enemy the doctor is blamed for prescribing Mrs. Campbell morphine just to make a profit, Oh yes, there are always druggists that pander to anything with a profit Both doctors can be put at fault for the start of their addiction for prescribing morphine to someone who does not necessarily need it. By prescribing morphine to these women, they have an excuse to continue their use of morphine because they believe they have a logical problem that they need to control. In Long Day s Journey Into the Night, Mary recognizes her doctor is all in it for profit, I hate doctors! They ll do anything anything to keep them coming to them. They ll sell their souls! What s worse, they ll sell yours, and you never know it till one day you find yourself in hell! (P.76) Even though Mary recognizes the truth behind these doctors, she stills uses her Rheumatism disease as a legitimate excuse to use morphine as she explains to her son Edmund that she shouldn t be ashamed of her addiction, I suffer from rheumatism in my hands and have to take medicine to kill the pain? Why should I be ashamed of that? (P. 118) The more in depth cause of these addictions may be affected by cultural expectations of their ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 12. An Analysis Of Haraway s Manifesto Manifesto Essay In a world invested in (overly) determined biological authenticity, its margins will be populated by the identified and self identifying cyborgs. This is not a coincidence. Haraway s Manifesto strongly suggests that in such a mixed subjugated population emergent opportunities for political alliances based on affinities thrives. She reminds us that cyborgs do not/cannot respect traditional boundaries and are therefore driven by survival (294) imperatives to reach across, to break through, to shatter windows and ceilings, to ultimately be fluid and flow between hardened boundaries and between worlds of status quo. In other words, to not only create patchwork identities but to construct political understandings and positions through patchwork or coalition politics. For alliances to work there must first be alignments. Haraway locates these through Sandoval (2000) who in Methodology for The Oppressed, notes a connectivity between the mestiza consciousness that emerges from the Anzalduan borderlands where feminists of color keep intact shifting and multiple identities with integrity and love and the commitment to partiality, irony, intimacy and perversity of cyborgs (168) . • 13. During Rule Of Emperor Justinian Of The Eastern Roman Empire, During rule of Emperor Justinian of the Eastern Roman Empire, a cycle of recurring plagues started in the year 541 A.D. This plague cycle would disappear and reappear in roughly eleven year cycles. The last strike of this plague cycle was in 747 in Naples. This series of plagues were called the Justinian plague named after Emperor Justinian s rule and it is also referred to as the early medieval pandemic (EMP). The severity of this plague was high being that Procopius of Caesarea, a Urban Prefect of Constantinople stated that the plague fell upon the whole world, yet just as many people escaped as had the misfortune to succumb either because they escaped the infection altogether, or because they got over it if they happened to be ... • 15. Juxtaposition In Shakespeare In much of literature there exists the juxtaposition of the natural world vs. the unnatural. Human s effect on nature and how it, in turn, influences us, is a crucial theme in many classic works. In Shakespeare s play As You Like It, the initial setting is in the court, however, the characters are soon introduced to the Forest of Ardenne where the magic and the differences of the natural world are clear. Shakespeare uses this juxtaposition of settings to contrast the values of each environment and create resolution for all characters at the end of the play. In the second scene of AYLI, it is established that Duke Senior, Rosalind s father, has been banished to the Forest of Ardenne by his brother, Duke Frederick. Although banished usually ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... From the court, there is Duke Senior, Duke Frederick, Rosalind, Touchstone, Celia, Orlando and Oliver, characters that are often described as pretty or able to speak well. This highlights their more dignified, educated backgrounds. Many of them are witty and engage in clever banter throughout the play that gives them a more sophisticated quality. Then there are the country characters: Silvius, Corin, Phebe, William, and Audrey. These characters are obviously less educated, having spent their entire lives in the forest, farming. Their lack of intelligence in the court sense, is shown through the incompatibility of dialogue between city and country characters. For example, Audrey and Touchstone often have issue while talking because Audrey does not know the definition of certain words such as foul and poetical. When she attempts to use these words, incorrectly so, her country idiocy is amplified. The discrepancy between country and court characters is also demonstrated in Touchstone s encounter with William, Audrey s former lover who describes himself as witty. Touchstone arrogantly brushes this notion aside, asserting that only fools call themselves witty. This scene portrays William as a kind of country bumpkin and establishes the idea that while the country may seem like a good solution for city woes, it should not necessarily be considered a permanent solution, because the benefits of court life, in this case education, are ... They can also be true or false in a sense of being rational and just being ignorant. Stereotypes are used today to give groups an image of what most people claim for that group to be like. Normally when someone is referring to or using the word stereotype they are referring to a collective, professors are smart, firemen are fearless, etc. Humans are around unfamiliar areas or groups they are uncertain about; they tend to use the little knowledge that exists to themselves to reduce uncertainty about the situation. Dissociative Identity Disorder ( Mpd ) Essay Dissociative identity disorder (DID) or Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD) is a mental illness where an individual expresses multiple personalities that may or may not be aware of each other. In ancient times, near the middle ages, DID was thought to be due to possession due to the fact mental illnesses back then had a supernatural theory attached to them. However, the DSM 5 has cleared up that theory and describes the actual symptoms and theories that appear within an individual that are diagnosed with DID. Clinicians usually have a difficult time diagnosing dissociative identity disorder due to the fact that numerous clinicians do not receive enough training about the disorder and there is still some skeptics today on whether DID actually exists. According to Putnam (1989), dissociative identity disorder comes with a large amount of symptoms which include depressed moods and mood swings, different personalities in a person s psyche, amnesia/time loss, anxiety and exhibit phobic like behavior, substance abuse, hallucinations, delusions, thought disorder, suicidal behaviors and may self mutilate, may exhibit catatonic behaviors, and may display transsexualism and transvestism behaviors (p.57 65). • 24. Theme Of Violence In A Clockwork Orange And Bonnie And Clyde Paramount themes of violence and extensive uses of graphic imagery are imperative motifs in the classic films, A Clockwork Orange and Bonnie and Clyde. Comparably, these two films use the element of violence to add insight to characters, environment, and further evoke emotions from audiences alike. Directors Stanley Kubrick and Arthur Penn began to push the boundaries of what is deemed acceptable in the film industry by introducing unprecedented levels of graphic content and directional methods of displaying such. On one hand, A Clockwork Orange was released to American audiences under an X rating due to its brash depictions of violence, rape, sex, and crude language (Thrawn, Clockwork Orange the X Rating ). Regardless, Kubrick chose to include the entirety of what was described in the novella due to its integral part in shaping the dystopian environment and main character Alex McDowell. Narrations of our protagonist s innermost thoughts accompanied by the true colors of his actions aides in building a complete understanding of societal and personal morals. Bonnie and Clyde similarly uses the harsh reality of violence as a tool to help set the overall tone of the film. The story of famous outlaws, Bonnie and Clyde, is glorified as well as equally condemned through graphic and bloody shootouts where they can be seen ruthlessly taking the lives of innocent people. The choice to amplify the intensity of violence in this movie is cohesive in laying the framework for character values within the two and creates a much more dramatic depiction of the infamous crimes that took place in the 30 s. Throughout both of these films, audiences are given the raw imagery necessary to create accurate and theatrical depictions of our characters actions that define their personalities and surroundings. During the 1960 s, as cultural values changed, revisions were made regarding the film rating system previously established by the Motion Picture Association of America. This change opened up the door to take more artistic freedom when producing their movies (Dirks, Film History of the 1960s ). Yeats forces him to speak in such a way that he is shown to be pessimistic about life and an uninspiring person. Certain parts cannot be fabricated by CNC unless they are broken up into components and reassembled at a later stage. Consider, for example, the possibility of machining a ship inside a bottle. Most likely you would machine both elements separately and work out a way to combine them together as an assembly and/or joining process. With AM you can build the ship and the bottle all at once. An expert in machining must analyze each part prior to it being built to ensure that it can be built and to determine what methods need to be used. While it is still possible that some parts cannot be built with AM, the most likely is much lower and there are generally ways in which this may be overcome without too much difficulty. Accuracy AM machines generally operate with a resolution of a few tens of microns. It is common for AM machines to also have different resolution along different orthogonal axes. The vertical build axis corresponds to layer thickness and this would be of a lower resolution compared with the two axes in the build plane. Accuracy in the build plane is determined by the positioning of the build mechanism, which will normally involve gearboxes and motors.
