The early 1990s is when the modern day began. In 1992, and Oxford University computer scientists
named Tim Berners Lee developed the World Wide Web. This was a data sharing space that anyone
with an internet connection can access. Not just government research centers and scientists with
access to top of the of the line equipment. As the 1990 s continued, the Internet continued to globalize.
In 1992, Erwise was the first successful Internet browser due to the graphical user interface software it
supplied. Erwise paved the way for Mosaic and eventually Netscape which accounted for 90 percent
of all internet browsing activity. As the Internet started to grow faster, companies such America Online
and Compuserve offered Internet through a dial up network connection. This allowed anyone with a
home phone line access to the Internet. The Internet was now expanding into residential homes and

The Internet started as a few computers in a research facility to expanding into home computers, smart
phones, cars, tablets, watches, televisions and even refrigerators. While in the 1980s, it was common
to see most commuters holding a newspaper while riding the subway to work, today it has evolved to
smartphones and tablets. Phone applications have made it even easier to access information. Now in
the palm of their hands, a consumer has access to virtually anything they want or need anytime of the
day. Companies such as Facebook have launched initiatives to allow the Internet to become ubiquitous
in all parts of the world by utilizing drone technology. Google has launched initiatives such as Google
Scholar so they can be the go to source for all information. Internet has gone as far a creating slang.

I have chosen this song for the tone it brings to this soundtrack. The beginning of The Count of Monte
Cristo is vividly different from the rest, as it introduces a perfect character, who has the greatest of
girls to soon marry, and has been promoted to captain of his ship. I feel that this song has the same
tone to it, while hinting at a change of fortune soon in the future by repeating I m losing you , which
mirrors the effect that Danglars has at this point, of foreshadowing that things will not stay this way
for Dantes.
Midge Ure The Man Who Sold The World These lyrics connect to the relationship between Dantes
and Villefort, beginning from their first meeting in Villefort s office. The song portrays Villefort as he
is in the book, feigning to be Dante s friend, when he had only himself in mind. (Lines 4,13). Dante s
surprise during his conversation with Villefort is also reflected in line five. The bridge between their
first meeting and their last is in lines fourteen to twenty, which describe his journey from the Chateau
d if, where Edmond Dantes died, and the Count of Monte Cristo roamed for years and years. His stare

When he was unable to resuscitate Edouard, he doubted himself, and doubted if he was following the
Lord s will. Lines nine and ten show this perfectly, followed by line eleven saying I m on the wrong

How Did World War One Change In The Home Front
Overtime one change in the home front in britain throughout the war was recruitment. At first many
joined, this was because of their attitude towards the war, they thought it would be over by Christmas
and Britain would easily win, they also thought it would be an adventure, this lead to many young
people to recruit themselves early on in the war. This is seen in source D as through 1914 and 1915 the
brown family were happy to see these young boys join the war. They had happy attitudes towards it
and thought it was the right thing for the country. However, the war did end, and recruitment numbers
fell, this was because they learnt of the horrors of war. This then lead most men to not signing up. The

The Reflection Of The Lesson Of Engineering Concepts
1. What was the focus of the lesson?
The focus of this lesson was the STEAM skill, engineering. This lesson of engineering phrases was
taught to a group of eighteen kindergarten students at Bartlett Elementary on November 16, 2017. The
entirety of this lesson lasted roughly forty five minutes.
2. How did the teacher introduce the lesson? Did the teacher specifically let the students know what
they would know or be able to do by the end of the lesson?
When introducing the lesson, the teacher Mrs. Taylor, started off by having the students recount what
they had done in the previous class (which was one week before this lesson). Mrs. Taylor called on
students who told her that last week they read the story, The Three Little Pigs, and that they built
homes for their own pigs. Another student brought up the fact that they each worked as a team, with
the students at their table, to build their homes. Mrs. Taylor then asked the students what where the
three materials provided to build their homes. The students replied that two groups each got one of the
materials which was straw, sticks, or bricks. Mrs. Taylor then passed out a worksheet to the students,
asking them to grab a pencil and to write their names using the dotted lines, and top and bottom lines
located at the top of the page. Then Mrs. Taylor had the students circle which of the materials that
their group used to build their homes. To help the students remember, Mrs. Taylor walked over to a
table and brought each group their houses, so that they would remember. Once the students circled
their material, they then had to draw a picture of their home on the box located in the bottom left of
the worksheet. While students were drawing, Mrs. Taylor walked around and was asking students
about their homes (structures) and if they think they could stand up to the Big Bad Wolf. Once the
majority of the students were done drawing their picture, Mrs. Taylor told the students what they
would be doing next, which was that each group s home would go up against the Big Bad Wolf, which
was just a higher powered electric fan. Before moving over the fan Mrs. Taylor asked the students the
following, Is this your first time building a house? All of the students
