Ele destaca experiências em Porto Alegre, Ipatinga, Belo Horizonte e Recife, onde as TICs permitiram maior participação dos cidadãos e transparência nos processos. Este documento apresenta os resultados de uma pesquisa sobre estudos brasileiros sobre internet e política entre 2000-2011. A pesquisa analisou 299 artigos de 11 eventos e mostrou que a maioria foi escrita por um autor e teve abordagem social. A maior parte usou métodos qualitativos e análise de conteúdo, e concluiu de forma otimista.

She holds a Ph.D. in Leadership and Change from Antioch University and has received several teaching awards. Previously, she was the Director of the eMBA, MSIB, and MMIB programs at Zayed University in Abu Dhabi, where she oversaw operations, ensured high quality instruction, and implemented a knowledge management system.
