While digital technologies will continue to evolve, Activity
Theory highlights how critical it is for educators to understand
the implications of their use, particularly digital citizenship
and digital literacy, within the context of wider society. We, as
educators, currently have a crucial role to play in preparing
learners to be active, contributing, digital citizens of the
future.
