A ruling from Franklin Circuit Judge Phillip J. Shepherd who ruled that the Bluegrass Pipeline which will be used for flowing natural gas liquids, being built by Williams and Boardwalk Pipeline Partners, cannot use eminent domain to force landowners to allow the pipeline to be buried under their property in Kentucky. The lawsuit was initiated by KURE (Kentuckians United to Restrain Eminent Domain).

Adjusted net income was $231.4 million, up 58% from the previous year. Net cash from operating activities before changes in assets and liabilities was $616.7 million, up 45% from the previous year. Marcellus Shale production reached 800 MMcf per day, with net production up 147% from the previous year.
The second Bill of Sale and Assignment of land in Monroe County, OH from Beck Energy to Exxon Mobil subsidiary XTO Energy. The land is leased for Utica Shale gas drilling. The deal closed on Dec. 20, 2011.
