Going along with this, Erikson s Life Span Theory presents a lot of ideas that I
agree with when it comes to raising children. Erikson believes that there are eight
stages where an individual will face a crisis. The crisis infants will face is trust or
mistrust of their caregiver. I believe this goes back to nurture, because if you show
your child that you are there for them they should develop trust in you rather than

According to our books, a good parent for preschooler needs to display affection,
nurturance, guidance and discipline, and interaction with the child. In order to
actually be a good parent, co parenting must be effective. I want to be involved in
my child s life, and during their preschool years is of extreme importance to
remember they are watching your every mood, so remaining a positive influence is
detrimental.
During pre teens years, I believe that parenting becomes even more difficult. For
instance, during this period your child is most likely going through changes and

I would feel the need to set up certain regulations and make sure they are enforced. I

Hot flashes are one of the many side effects of cancer treatment. A hot flash is
defined as a subjective sensation of heat that is associated with objective signs of
cutaneous vasodilation and a subsequent drop in core temperature (Kaplan, Mahon,
Cope, Keating, Hill Jacobson, 2011). Another description of a hot flash is a sudden
sensation of intense warmth that begins in the chest region and rises to the neck
and face (Loprinzi, Barton Rhodes, 2001). Hot flashes are difficult to measure
because they are a subjective experience. Electronic monitoring devices have been
used to assess skin temperature and objectively measure hot flashes (Carpenter,
2005). Hot flashes cause discomfort and can affect a patient s quality of life,
especially when associated with night sweats, sleep disruption, and mood swings
(Loprinzi, Barton Rhodes, 2001). There are certain types of cancertreatments that
cause hot flashes in patients. Cancer treatments that target estrogenand testosterone
production cause more incidences of hot flashes than other cancer treatments
(Kaplan et al., 2011). The side effects of these types of cancer therapies include
hormone deprivation symptoms, one of which can be hot flashes (Kaplan et al.,
2011). These treatments are used for breast cancerin women and prostate cancer in
men (Kaplan et al., 2011). Premenopausal women who undergo treatment for cancer

Water fluoridation has been happening in America for many decades. It has
generally been seen as a good thing as it is purported to fight tooth decay. The
Cochrane Collaboration, which is a highly respected group of researchers and
doctors who have an excellent reputation for rigorous analysis and assessments of
health policy have recently come out with a report that may belie what has been
assumed for decades about water fluoridation. They found shockingly few high
quality scientific papers on the efficacy or effectiveness of water fluoridation in

Biology I. In this research, each students estimate the length of 10 centimeters in
paper then turn it in. The result are recorded in 3 table represents students in each
class. This report will only focus on the age of participants in relationship to their
average estimation. The students age are divided into three group: Group 1 is
under 22, Group 2 is 22 26 and Group 3 is above 26. The hypothesis is created.
Hypothesis: The older the group, the closer their average results will be to the actual

Although there are others data included in the experiment, this report will only
focus on analyze the age of students in relation to their estimation of 10 cm. The
specific age of students is classify in to 3 groups: under 22, 22 to 26 and above 26.
All the students are currently enrolling in Professor Hutlett Abdin s Biology classes,
so the participants are not random students. Because the students are in an science
class, most of them have an idea of SI metric system, which was acquired in high
school or work for the widely use of this systems outside America and in the
scientists community. Therefore the result of the all student will not be too far from
the actual 10 cm. However the age of participants will have an impact on their
overall estimation. The young students estimation will not as accurate as the old
students , because they have less experiences and exposer to the real SI system in
their life. Hypothesis: the older the group the closer their average results will be to
the actual 10 cm.
Methods: the data are gathered from 3 classes of Biology, and there are total 71
students. There are 49 students under 22, 13 students from 22 to 26 and 9 students
over the age of 26. Each student is instructed to estimated 10 cm in a line in their lab
note book. Afterward, the data is collected by the teacher and put in a table. The data

climb and the humanitarian situation devolves, some observers assert that the
political costs of the Saudi led coalition s military campaign are becoming too high

Yemen. In October 2016, Houthi Saleh forces reportedly launched anti ship
missiles at U.S. Navy vessels on patrol off the coast of Yemen. While no U.S.
warship was damaged, a similar attack earlier in October damaged a U.S. transport
ship leased by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) (The World Bank, 2016). In
retaliation U.S. Naval ships fired missiles against Houthi Saleh radar installations.
Given the tension building between Yemen and the United States, if attacks continue
and the U.S./Yemen relationship begins to become anymore hostile, the U.S can
provide a stronger naval presence within the Bab al Mandab region. Once a stronger
U.S. Naval presence is emplaced, this will cause even more kinetic activity between
