Launching in September, but feeling stressed about communication and marketing?
If you’re anything like me, September is always packed with conferences, new projects, and a lot of excitement. Balancing all of that on top of a product launch can be daunting.
If you have a new product or service coming out, and you’re behind with the marketing because you had to deal with COVID-related issues, don’t panic.
Here are 3 easy tips to get you back on top.
1. 3 TIPS
FOR A SMOOTH
SEPTEMBER
LAUNCH
. . . E V E N I F Y O U ' R E S T R E S S E D O U T
2. GOT A NEW PRODUCT OR SERVICE COMING
OUT?
ARE YOU BEHIND WITH MARKETING
BECAUSE YOU HAD TO DEAL WITH
COVID-RELATED ISSUES?
DON’T PANIC.
HERE’S WHAT YOU DO:
3. #1: FOCUS ON THE MOST IMPORTANT THING
Do your services/products work, and can customers buy it? Did you
test your payment systems?
You might have the best product in the world, but if your website
can’t handle payments, or there’s an issue with shipping, the rest of
your marketing effort is going to be left hanging.
Make sure your products and services work before you start deep
diving into your marketing.
4. #2: BE 1000% CLEAR ON WHAT YOUR SELLING
You’re not selling a service or a thing. You’re selling something that
makes the world better and more sustainable, right?
That means you’re selling a solution to a problem. You should always
keep that in mind, but it’s especially important when you’re
squeezed for time.
Verbalize what you’re selling, put it on a post-it and slap it on your
office wall so you always, ALWAYS, have a direction for your
marketing and communication.
5. #3: LESS IS MORE
If you’re in a hurry, keep it simple.
A clean design, limited colors, maybe just some white copy on a
black background.
Keep. It. Simple.
6. WHEN IN DOUBT: ASK FOR HELP
You can, of course, always outsource part of your marketing.
