RESTRUCTURING DEBT INTERNAL MEMORANDUM
TO: Scott Smith, Manager
FROM: Candace Schneider
DATE: June 17, 2013
SUBJECT: Restructuring Debt
CC: Internal Managers
One appreciates the recommendation of providing information on restructuring debt to help the
company combat its recent financial troubles. Even though the company is in the process of
reorganizing one believes this information will help a company in reporting the restructuring of debt.
One will provide information on the requirements of reporting debt on bonds, notes, and capital
leases. In performing this one will also provide the journal entries one would need to record to

The similarity is notes payable also have fixed maturity dates and carry either a stated or implicit
interest rate (Kieso, Weygandt, amp; Warfield, 2007, p. 685). The difference is notes payable are not
easily tradable. A company reports notes payable in a similar fashion as it does bonds. In reporting a
note payable a company records the note at its face value of its future interest and principal cash
flows. The company amortizes any discount or premium of a note over its life. If a note has no bearing
interest rate the company should report the difference between the face value and the cash received as
a discount on the note. This amount one amortizes over the life of the note to interest expense.
Capital Leases
A company may use capital leases to finance its acquisition of capital assets. In lease financing a
company must met the criteria of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) on capital leases.
In this a company must record both a liability, and a related asset on its balance sheet. In reporting
capital lease a company reports the lease at its present value of the minimum lease payments. The
company allocates these lease payments using the effective interest method to interest expense. This
allocation using the effective interest method reduces the lease liability of the company.
A company regardless of the type of liability it has must report the interest rate, maturity date, current
interest expense, and future

The And Liability Under The Fraud Act 2006
3. Dastardly and Liability under the Fraud Act 2006 The ex employee of a company, Dastardly s email
to the Managing Director, which contained a phishing link pretending as the company s Finance
Manager related to the piece of software, intended to capture the relevant information about the
detailed wages account. The activities what Dastardly did would potentially lead to breaking the
regulation under the protection of the Fraud Act 2006 (FA 2006). Section 2(1) in FA 2006 states that a
person could be in breach of fraud if he gains something for himself or imposes a loss on someone
else intentionally by making false representations. On the basis of Dastardly s work status as an ex
employee, it might be no possibility for him to be guilty of those status crimes such as fraud by failing
to disclose information or fraud by abuse of position. After the exclusion of other options, Dastardly is
more likely to be prosecuted for the fraud by false representation. The FA 2006 has expressly set out
several substantive elements that need to be satisfied when the offence liability is to be established.
When talking about gain and loss through the dishonest representation, gain includes a gain by
keeping what one has, as well as a gain by getting what one does not have, while loss includes a loss
by not getting what one might get, as well as a loss by parting with what one has. Due to the
consideration of these definitions, it is not difficult to recognize the facts relating to

The Effects Of Physical Abuse On Mental Illness
Today, a colossal four hundred and fifty million (and growing) people in the world suffer from some
form of mental illness in the world, however, only around one third of them seek any form of help
(who.int World Health Report). This number was probably much lower in 1904, when this story was
written, but I imagine it was also much more shameful and frightening to admit that you had a
problem and needed help with all of the closer knit neighborhoods and insane asylums that have
closed down over the last hundred years. While I read Paul s case, I thought of a number of things,
history of physical abuse or trauma that might have made him shy away from physical contact, drug
use (even one prescribed for a chronic illness or disease,) and that even a terminal illness had made
him misanthropic. Nevertheless, I always came back to mental illness. The few sentences that
solidified my belief were: I don t really believe that smile of his comes altogether from insolence;
there s something sort of haunted about it. The boy is not strong for one Thing. There is something
wrong with the fellow (Paul s Case, Willa Cather). Paul had dramatic changes in mood from one place
to another, anywhere art related or the finer things in life created an intoxicating, manic state; the
unremarkable had the opposite effect, he became disdainful and lethargic. Paul s delusions of
grandeur, his dramatic mood and personality changes from manic to depressive, and his disposition
led me to

Cultural Reflection
Prior to taking this course, I had put very little thought into my culture let alone grappled with the fact
that culture is far more complex than something that we simply have. Early in the semester we
touched upon the fact that culture is, in actuality, much more nuanced and is something practiced and
experienced differently on every scale and in every interaction throughout every person s lifetime.
Upon completion of the course, an investigation into my own culture will exemplify just that. First,
looking at historical, cultural and family background, I will examine how my position within my
unique family has shaped how I approach the world around me. Here I will tie in an especially
personal element that I feel shapes many parts of my cultural identity being the fact that I am adopted.
Next, an examination of the significance of travel, migration, and languages in my life builds on
tradition, but reflects an identity that I have recently taken on as an independent young adult outside of
how I was raised. Then, I will touch upon how nationality and religion have been significant in my
cultural socialization. I will look at how I grapple with my nationality, and how generational pressures
have led to conflicts resulting in growth, development, and meaningful choices. Finally, looking
closely at some of my most valued friendships, as well as the nature of my broader social life and life
goals, I will argue that they largely reflect elements mentioned earlier, especially

Essay On The Great Stupa Of Sanchi
The Great Stupa, Sanchi One of the outstanding monuments in India, the Great Stupa, Sanchi, leaves a
lasting impression on its visitors. It is found that its construction is started back in the 3rd century
during Mauryan emperor Ashoka s regime and researchers believe that it is one of the most ancient
stone structures India has in its geographical boundary (Archaeological Survey of India). At the
present time, it is in Sanchi town, situated in one of the India s states, Madhya Pradesh s Raisen
district. This Buddhist pilgrimage attraction is not remained only as a tourist spot in India, but it has
world s recognition as well. UNESCO has recognized its legacy and includes it in World heritage site
category. In truth, it is one of the marvel architectures in India, which depicts ancient Buddhist art and
architecture, of which construction and amendments spans into several different centuries (third
century BC to the twelfth century AD) (UNESCO World Heritage Centre, 1989). The thesis of the

Many theorists have interpreted several studies on this Stupa for its relation with nature s elements.
For example, the Great Stupa of Sanchi has surrounded by a balustrade reminiscent of Sun s circuit.
Further, having 28 posts, harmika balustrade represents the number of nakshatras (Subhash, 2010).
Likewise, its orientation is also kept in line with the center of the structure and assigning a vector to
determine the exact East West line on the date of the Spring equinox. Further, talking about its
symbolism, Stupa, it represents freedom from the birth death cycle, and while its dome represents

QuickBooks software can be easily learned by the beginners. The people involved in creating this
software can be contacted anytime in order to learn to operate the software.
Every time a new or unacquainted user starts using the QuickBooks, it is likely that he/she will
encounter an error. These errors are displayed with a specific code. These error codes display the
message that gives an idea to the user of what it is about. One such QuickBooks error code is 6177. It
conveys that the company file will not be accessed anywhere except where it is located as the path is
unknown to the computer. This error usually occurs when the file is set to multi user mode.
The developers have carefully studied the error and found the common cause of the same. It is
explained below:
1. Unknown path
Every time a company file is accessed, a connection is made between the path of the file with the
source or from where it is originated. On failing to recognize the path of company file,

Mark, This week, Noel and I met with his academic counselor to discuss his 10th grade course load
and graduation. As of right now, he is on track for university admission. In fact, Noel is currently
working towards the scholar and merit designations (something students can earn for going above the
standard diploma). Also, his counselor advised us he may qualify for bright futures, depending on his
upcoming SAT or ACT scores. She also went over Noel s current grades, which I ve attached below,
and his GPA. All in all, he s doing very well for just finishing up 9th grade. Most kids only have

Compare The Relationship Between William Wordsworth And I...
From my reading of both the Grasmere Journals written by Dorothy Wordsworth and also the poem I
wandered lonely as a cloud written by William Wordsworth, I believe that there is a strong
relationship between the two. I think that both William and his sister Dorothy experienced the same
relationship with the Daffodil s they saw. The only difference is that William expressed his experience
through poetry while Dorothy expressed hers through diary entries. From the evidence we have with
the dates of when both were written, I believe William wrote his poem based on Dorothy s journals. I
would be of the opinion that Dorothy s journals were written from her experience alone while
Williams s poem was written under the influence of Dorothy s Grasmere ... Show more content on

Much of Dorothy s diary entries include reflective moments in her life. As Sara Crangle said [T]here
is much of this solitary, reflective image that can be transposed to the larger depiction of Wordsworth s
life. Dorothy s journals are mostly written either at the beginning of the day or in the evening. This
time of day is when she is either reflecting on the day gone by or thinking about the day ahead. As she
is often out walking with William or Coleridge it is probable that she is reflecting on these events
quite a lot. On May 14th she writes I sate a long time upon a stone at the margin of the lake, and after
a flood of tears my heart was easier. Dorothy explains how after she reflects she becomes happier.
Reflection is a sense of relief for her. This sense of relief shows how significant writing diary entries
are for her. They are her escape where she can be alone with her

In An Enquiry Concerning Human Understanding by David...
In An Enquiry Concerning Human Understanding by David Hume, the idea of miracles is introduced.
Hume s argument is that there is no rational reason for human beings to believe in miracles, and that it
is wrong to have miracles as the building blocks for religion. It is because the general notion of
miracles come from the statement of others who claim to have seen them, Hume believes that there is
no way to prove that those accounts are accurate, because they were not experienced first hand. In
order to believe a miracle, the evidence should be concrete, and something irrefutable. When there is
any sort of doubt to a miracle, Hume says that any evidence that can be contrary to the proof of a
miracle is merely evidence that the miracle did ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In essence, any miracle that a Christian believes as fact, is something that a Muslim person would
consider hearsay, and vice versa. There is a constant battle between religions to disprove the other s
miracles, and Hume believes that none of these miracles occurred.
To Hume, it is never rational to believe in a miracle, as it is a violation of the laws of nature. For a
miracle to be believable, it must be based on testimony, and have a focus on something that can be
proven. This testimony must have evidence to justify that the miracle is in fact based on a law of
nature. For Hume, if a miracle is to be rationally accepted, the evidence to support it must be balanced
for the evidence in the natural world. Even if there is a conflicting piece of evidence for the miracle,
the conclusion must indicate that said miracle is a probable occurrence. With that probable evidence
must come absolute proof that the person who experienced the miracle was in his or her right state of
mind, was never diagnosed with a mental illness, and is a person who can be trusted to give factual
suggestions. Essentially, a miracle is possible because it is conceivable, but in reality, there is no
evidence to prove it. To properly establish his position on miracles, Hume writes:
no testimony is sufficient to establish a miracle, unless the testimony be of such a kind, that its
falsehood would be more miraculous, than the fact, which it endeavours to establish

Awesome Stacked Papa Burrito
Last week I ate at Acapulco and enjoyed a delicious 12 inch Papa Burrito. The cheesy smell made my

The Papa Burrito looks very large and wide with a lot of flavor inside. I grab a fork and when I cut
into the burrito I saw a mound of beef with melted cheese dripping off from the fork. Surrounding the
burrito was the orangey rice and brownish warm beans on the right of my plate was a pile of fresh

Oscar Romero s Religious Beliefs Affected His Work For...
Explain how Oscar Romero s religious beliefs affected his work for social change
I will not tire of declaring that if we truly want an effective end to the violence, we must eliminate the
violence that lies at the root of all violence: structural violence, social injustice, the exclusion of
citizens from the management of the country, repression, Oscar Romero said in his sermon on the 23rd
September 1979. Six months later, Romero was shot and killed. During the 1970 s and 80 s the El
Salvadorian public experienced a brutal campaign of repression by the military government, which
claimed thousands of lives. The leader of the church, Oscar Romero began to speak out on behalf of
the victims and on the 23rd of March 1980, he made a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He was admitted into a seminary at 14 and then was eventually, in 1942 at the age of 25, ordained a
priest. Romero then managed to convince 5 radio stations to broadcast his Sunday sermon allowing
Romero s words to reach peasant farmers who did not believe they were welcome in church. In 1977
Romero became Archbishop of Santiago de Maria. Then, On 12 March 1977, Fr. Rutilio Grande and
two people Romero is travelling with are shot and killed. Asa result of this, Romero cancels all Masses
the next Sunday except for one, which was in front of the cathedral for 100,000 people. He then
refuses to attend any government event until the murder is solved. Later that same year Romero
became Archbishop of San Salvador, the capital city. Thousands of people were going missing. The
president of El Salvador failed to investigate these killings, even after Romero demanded that he
should.
In 1979 Romero presented the pope with seven reports of kidnapping, torture and murder. By this time
the amount of people being killed was more than 3000 per month and Romero could offer no more to
El Salvador than hope and faith.
On March 23, 1980, Romero began to speak out to the soldiers: I beg you, I implore you, I order you...
in the name of God, stop the repression! The evening after saying this, a paid assassin shot Romero
while giving Mass in the Divine Providence Hospital. Romero became a martyr and is now regarded
as saint in El Salvador. He remains a symbol of hope to

The distinction between the plot and story of a film can be difficult to distinguish. These elements
both play an important role in communicating the movie maker s ideas to the viewers. However, the
key differences between the plot and story of a film revolve around their main functions and based on
how they interact with the key components of the narrative. The plot of a film lays out all of the events
that take place in the exact order presented and can utilize a variety of developmental elements to
move the film from the beginning to the end. The story of a film is the culmination of the plot, along
with additional inferred information that was mentioned implicitly or explicitly throughout the film in
chronological order which illustrates ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The plot is broken up into three different section and shows the protagonist Anna Marie as three
different ages. This is a simple example of a temporal plot gap. The plot doesn t provide any
information in between the different sections to give any insight on what took place in Anna Marie s
life throughout the years that passed. This is an example where the plot gap doesn t get a resolution
and the event is completely disregarded. The story can only be created in a viewer has something to
base an inference off of in order to fill the plot gap. The exclusion of this information allows the
viewer to recognize that the time she aged in between the sections is not relevant to the overall story
and shows that there are more important aspects of the film to focus on in order to reveal the whole
story. Another instance in this film that illustrates the distinction between plot and story involves the
use of parallelism. In the second section of the film there is a scene Anna Marie watches over a cow as
it dies. The camera cuts to a close up of the cows eyes tearing up and then to a close up of Anna Marie
s eye tearing up. The similarity of the angle at which Anna Marie and the cow were filmed signified
that there was something important to be taken away from that scene because it put so much focus on
those two subjects. This was not explicitly presented in the plot, but the use of parallelism to focus the
viewers attention to Anna Marie and the cow in that moment was an indicator that the scene was
relevant to the

Linear and Nonlinear Optical Susceptibilities and Hyperpolarizability of Borate LiNaB4O7 Single

Ali Hussain Reshak, Xuean Chen, S. Auluck and H. Kamarudin
Journal of Applied Physics 2012
Volume 112, Issue 5, Pages 053526 (1 11)
Since the successful demonstration of second harmonic generation by a propagation of a ruby laser
beam via a quartz crystal by Franken et al,1 borate materials have been widely studied to employ in
the potential applications such as nonlinear optics (NLO) and laser (mainly in visible and UV light)
engineering.2, 3, 4, 5 Materials with NLO properties are useful for generating new frequency laser
sources that cannot be directly produced from the common laser sources.2 Consequently, NLO
materials have enabled a wider range of frequencies produced from the available laser. Borate
materials have a few great properties, for example, short growth period, high damage threshold, large
effective nonlinear coefficient and good mechanical properties.6 This suggests that borate materials
are well fitted for the purpose of laser frequency conversion. BaB2O4, LiB3O5, CsB3O5 and
YCa4(BO3)3O are examples of well known borate based NLO crystals.2 An early review on the
comparison of the damage threshold and optical transmittance of these mentioned borate crystal
compounds have been done by Becker in which the use of the favourable anionic group and
birefringence in the borate materials are the essential features needed to produce

There Are Numerous Public Open Spaces In Urban Areas, Yet
There are numerous public open spaces in urban areas, yet surprisingly many of them suffer from
people s under use rather than overuse of them, even on the most beautiful days. The film focuses on
discovering the different elements that, altogether, create successful open spaces in urban areas. This
was done through observing what people did and where they sat in those places, and identifying what
attracts people to certain open spaces more than others. The first element is sit able space . People tend
to sit where there are places to sit. More importantly, sit able spaces need to be comfortable,
hospitable, not isolated, not socially awkward (e.g. Small benches), and there needs to be a variety of
them to allow people the freedom to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The sixth element is triangulation . This is achieved by having something in open spaces which
attracts people, brings them together, and creates and environment which allows for conversations
between strangers to occur (e.g. sculptures, mimes, etc.).
This film opened my eyes to many of the different human behavioral patterns and community design
elements which I never really noticed or thought about before. It also made me realize how elements
as simple as the ones introduced in the film can be crucial for creating a great urban space. For
instance, I was very surprised to know that most people in open spaces spend their time looking at
what other people are doing, and that most people do not stop and talk in the middle of large spaces,
instead they do so at steps, flag poles, edges, and things of the like. I also found it very interesting that
men tend to occupy the front row of table seats in open spaces, while women tend to occupy the back
row of table seats in open spaces. There were three things in the movie which really stood out to me
and made me stop and think. The first thing was that it never occurred to me how cruel it is to put
water before people in open spaces, then disallow them from using it. The purpose of open spaces
should be to bring enjoyment and comfort to its users. So if there is water in an open space, it should
contribute to the enjoyment of people, otherwise its presence is useless. The second thing

Manual Labour Movement Essay
The independent educational action of 1826 through 1876 emphasized the rise of the manual labor
movement and mechanics institutes. The contributions of several educational leaders and their
importance to the teaching field and vocational education are discussed. Other represented
achievements from the Morrill Act, the Hampton Institute, and the Kalamazoo Case are discussed and
their significance in the history of vocational education.
The Manual Labor Movement
During the early 1800 s, different schools served different functions. Mechanic s Institutes combined
practice with the study of science. Lyceums attended to cultural as well as educational needs and
aroused interest in agricultural and industrial education. The manual labor movement attempted to
meet the needs of the farmer, mechanic, vocational education, and a way of satisfying a practical need
of a population. In addition, Manual Labor Academies included academic studies as well as time
working in a shop. The Education committee felt this combination of studies and labor contributed to
the development of a better citizen. The combination of labor and education created a strong base for
vocational education. Although the manual labor movement lost momentum by the time of the Civil

Young Women In The Coquette By Eliza Wharton
In Hannah W. Foster s, The Coquette, Eliza Wharton is portrayed as a woman of status, above average
intelligence and education, with a flirtatious nature. Though the author does not cast her in an
antagonistic light, her manner is painted as foolish, flippant to 18th century social conventions, and
lacking in forethought. As such, The Coquette should be viewed as a literary warning for young
women of the day, especially those who may have shared undesirable attributes with Eliza. It is the
novel s intent, by way of Eliza s thoughts and actions, to discourage young women from pursuing a
fleeting and non virtuous lifestyle. Through the novel, Foster acts as a moral guide to young women
by persuading them to obey social conventions like entering into dutiful marriage, refraining from

In portraying the dichotomy of virtue between Boyer and Sanford, Foster means to convey the moral
sense in courting a chaste man like Boyer, and the great error in pursuing a libertine like Sanford. It is
Foster s intent to show Eliza s carefree indecision as a hindrance to her true happiness and ultimately
as the reason for losing Boyer. Conversely, Peter Sanford acts as a moral foil to the virtue of Reverend
Boyer; he is charming, but manipulative, deceptive, and rakish. It is the author s intent to portray
Major Sanford as the type of man to which women of inconsistent virtue were likely to be drawn.
Eliza is shown as not caring about Sanford s past indiscretions (and ultimately suffering for it), saying
a reformed rake makes the best husband (Foster, p.49). The social convention of the day was for
women to marry quickly and smartly; it is Foster s intent to illustrate how a woman active in society
life and frivolous in her affairs will ultimately end up being a woman with no

exposed to violence so much that people s biggest fears are that they will become fully desensitized to
the violence. Many are at this point where violence is as emotional , but some forms of violence are
still so disturbing they transcend all levels of desensitization. Some examples are exhibited in Anil s
Ghost. By Michael Ondaatje. All forms of violence are disturbing, but some, even if they seem pretty
tame when explained are increasingly disturbing when put into context of the novel. Though, many
see violence against a character who a reader is emotionally invested in is very disturbing. The most

The stories ability to paint a picture of the scene, give life to those who are dead, and convey Anil s
thought process makes this story excel. Though, the story does jump around and is hard to understand
the writing style is very concise and is easy to understand. Every sense is explained, and this adds to
the emotion of the story. The extreme detail makes the story intensely disturbing in some areas.
Ondaatje s writing style instill a theme of death in the story not only relating to the random murders
seen throughout the book, but also by giving life to the bodies that are being examined in the story.
There is a scene in the book where a leaf falls into the ribcage of sailor and represents the beating
heart. This small detail helps reinforce the fact that sailer and the other bodies in the story are real
characters and actually effect the story. The novel only asks for your attention because the story
requires a lot of it. Every sentence builds a scene then it quickly changes. This is also the case when
we have a chance to listen to Anil and Gamini s rambling thoughts, and dialouges where it s mostly
medical related each is different, but it alway involves dark humor. While Anil is visiting Gamini he
goes on one of the rambles in the book by saying, I mean, I know everything about blast weaponry.

The Effects Of Hormones On The Body s Central Glucocorticoid
Upon activation by an emotional or physical stressor, corticotropic releasing hormone (CRH) is
released from the paraventricular cells of the hypothalamus and exerts its effect on the anterior
pituitary gland Here, CRH stimulates the synthesis of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) and its
release into the bloodstream [19,20]. In turn, ACTH acts on receptors of the adrenal cortex to
stimulate the synthesis and release of cortisol [19,20]. Also known as the body s stress hormone ,
cortisol travels through the blood in both protein bound (inactive) and free (active) forms. Cortisol can
act to limit its own synthesis via a negative feedback mechanism to the hypothalamus and pituitary
gland [19,20]. Upon reaching a target cell, free cortisol diffuses through the cell membrane to bind to
the cytoplasmic glucocorti coid receptor [19,20]. This ligand receptor complex translocates to the
nucleus where it binds glucocorticoid response elements to affect transcription of target genes [19,20].
As our body s central glucocorticoid, cortisol has many actions. These include gluconeogenesis,
lipolysis, modulating the immune system, increase of blood pressure and insulin resistance [19,20].
Cortisol is metabolized by 11 beta hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 2 to its inactive form, cortisone

The Characteristics Of Intriguing Characters In A Game Of...
1. Introduction
While A Game of Thrones can in many ways be compared to other outstanding works in literature,
whether it is Lord of the Rings for its fantasy setting or Hamlet for themes of love, intrigue, political
games and treachery, what truly make the novel great are its characters. In many novels, one might
argue that the characters are merely a product of their situation and the story, while in A Game of
Thrones the story is in many ways the product of the characters. What I mean by this is that characters
often merely react to events that occur around them, while characters in A Game of Thrones create the
events that build up the story. Therefore I will look at how George R.R. Martin uses creates and uses
intriguing and diverse characters in A Game of Thrones. The world in A Game of Thrones is full of
complex and changing characters with very distinct personalities and some of them change drastically,
which makes it ideal for this type of investigation.

Use Of Aripiprazole For Acute Mani Critiquing A Systematic...
The Use of Aripiprazole for Acute Mania: Critiquing a systematic research review Systematic reviews
are based on an extensive and meticulous search for studies and research and are selective of the data
that is reported; excluding poor quality studies and accurately categorizing the quality of the research
that has been chosen (Melnyk, Fineout Overholt, 2011). Once there are several sources of information
presented on issues, or studies that are conducted on a concern; clinicians may then set out to pull
together the results of the findings into one area to aid in visualizing the larger scheme of the concern.
In this manner, identifying the relevance, side effects and outcomes of drugs to control or alter the
experiences of patients with particular diseases and disorders becomes instrumental in how clinical
practices and guidelines are developed (Taylor, Cornelius, Smith, Young, 2014). In this paper, the use
of aripiprazole alone and in combination with other drug agents will be examined through identifying
the medications relevance, safety concerns and hypothesized patient outcomes as illustrated by the
culmination of current studies. Through the use of a systematic research review (SRR), we will assist
in setting a standard of care built on the research of aripiprazole that identifies what is identified as
inevitability, what is tentatively recognized, and what are the disparities of knowledge regarding its
usage (Garay, Llorca, Young, Hameg, Samalin, 2014).

King Kong Analysis
A film on how love knows no bounds, where love happens in unexpected ways, Merian C. Cooper
Ernest B. Schoedsack s King Kong introduces the element of surprise within the plot that leaves many
to feel flabbergasted at the unravelled events. A gorilla worshiped as a god by many, that goes by the
name of Kong is inhabiting an unknown island where a film is set to be produced within the movie.
Due to the crew s admiration of the gorilla, they offer their star actress Ann Darrow as a sacrifice to
appease the beast. However, Kong eventually falls in love with Ann, regardless of their biological
differences. On the other hand, Ann already has a human companion by the name of Carl Denham
who intends to rescue Ann from the gorilla s grasp rather than to see her disappear forever with Kong.
The idea that love between a beast and human seem rather trivial in the eyes of spectators who critique
the movie; the plot provides a surprising element to illuminate the fact that the fondness between the
individuals are portrayed different from within our usual view of what is normal. In comparison with
the 2005 film adaption by director Peter Jackson, I d say that the recent film deviated from the film to
create an atmosphere where the audience are made to wait in suspense for each passing scene. Since
film director Peter Jackson directed the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy, many expected the movie to
be an amazing spectacle. Renditions were made to fit society s expectations today such as

Childhood Sunglasses
Quality Sunglasses for Kids
Wearing glasses can be the ultimate fashion accessory when you choose the right pair to suit you and
the kind of clothes you wear most. Children may not be as interested as adults are in the fashion aspect
of sunglasses. But because kids spend much more time outdoors than most adults one of the most
important factors when to choosing sunglasses is protection. Being assured that one s eyes are
protected from the sun s ultra violet rays is essential. These rays can cause damage to the eyes and are

Building A Cashless Society, Increased Efficiency,...
Executive Summary
Moving towards a cashless society, increased efficiency, improved service offering and better security
for the DCU Community form the premise of this report. Technology is changing at a rapid pace and
the challenge lies in identifying the optimum campus card solution, which will best suit the needs of
DCU. From a thorough examination of a host of campus card programmes, a comprehensive set of
recommendations has been reached. A contactless, proprietary, one card system is believed to be the
most advantageous solution for the DCU campus. Future interoperability, system reliability and ease
of use have been paramount in this decision making process. A staggered campus wide rollout is
proposed, to allow for close monitoring of each implementation phase. This will ensure a seamless
integration of the contactless technology without vast initial outlay. The service offering of this one
card solution will incorporate all aspects of campus life; payment, access control, security, printing,
photocopying, vending and car parking. The system has been designed to ensure future compatibility
with non campus vendors, ultimately facilitating growth of the card s functionality. The Department of
Transport are currently proposing a contactless payment system for public transport, particularly in the
Dublin region. Herein lies an ideal opportunity for the proposed DCU system to integrate with outside
vendors. As with any new initiative within an organisation, top

Materialism and Dualism are both theories based on where the mind is located. The mind consists of
mental states. Mental states can be divided into three categories: cognitive, conative and affective.
Cognitive states are aimed at fitting the world and these include beliefs, knowledge, memories,

What sense is there in having a third party when everything can just be done in the brain? What stops
the soul from having the other functions of the brain if they are so deeply connected. There s no
evidence for the existence of a soul and any missing gaps explaining how the soul and the body
interact are just explained as it s mysterious.
Alzheimer disease shows using neuroscience and brain lesion deficit that it damages the brain and
people with the disease lose many of their mental states and what makes them an individual. When a
person has Alzheimer s their brain is damaged and they develop impaired memory, thinking and

The Peral by John Steinbeck
If a homeless man were to win a $1,000,000 lottery, how would he handle the circumstance? In The
Pearl, John Steinbeck depicts the story of Kino, a destitute Mexican Indian male who devotes his life
towards his wife and newborn son. He discovers a great pearl that seems to have the potential to
change his life for the better; however, Steinbeck shows how Kino s discovery of a great fortune can
lead to disaster. The pearl installs greed in Kino as he desires to improve his social status, and overall
creates an evil corruption that destroys his family. The pearl has three primary functions. It causes man
to become more impulsively animalistic, shows society s corruption; greediness; and jealousy, and
provides a false hope, an illusion that the pearl is infinitely valued, but in reality has no value at all.
The discovery of the great pearl influences Kino to be more animalistic. ...Kino s fist closed over the
pearl and his emotion broke over him. He put back his head and howled. His eyes rolled up and he

written in 1924. This is the story in which reality and unreality are closely interwoven. Even though,
this story gives a reader the creeps, it makes to think about very important things as love, soul and fear

The Shout is the story within frames of the story. That is, the narrator retells a story he heard from

Moreover, how to explain the fact that during the clinical death many people feel like the soul is
leaving the body, and they may have a look at themselves from the another side, or see the dead
relatives, or see the wonderful and pleasant light. Even though this process cannot be clearly explained
by medicine, with Graves explanation of the soul whereabouts these visions are impossible.
Why did the author describe souls as the stones? Rachel says that there may be more sense in a stone,
more sensibility, more sensitivity, more sensibleness, than in many men and women . Probably Graves
wanted to point out that such a sensible notion as human s soul is becoming more rough and crueler.
Nonetheless, human s soul is becoming more vulnerable. Graves emphasizes it by the braking of the
stone which holds Charles soul.
Another instance of using symbols in this story is the horror shout which can be produced by Charles.
As I understand, the main idea is that the shout is the synonym to death. People are afraid of death;
however, they always were interested in what happens after death and are tended to reveal mysteries.
Similarly, Richard is afraid of the death; nevertheless, he insists on hearing the shout. Finally, Charles

towards the Italian race. This ethnic prejudice can largely be associated with the novel and film The

The Importance Of An Effective Team For A Team
Reflecting on experience is an important capability for an individual to be able to move forward. As
(SOURCE) said, (CONTEXT ). Moreover, individuals ought to be able to work not only individually,
but also to work together in a group. Working with other people, especially whom you have not
known is not as easy as it seems. In fact, it is quite difficult to develop an effective team. Through this
reflection essay on the group presentation that I did last Monday, I have become more aware of useful
strategies to deal with issues and understand what could be improved for future presentations.
Developing teamwork skills is am important benefit for me as future professional workers. The major
benefit of working in a team for me is that it facilitated and provide a great exercise to develop a
teamwork skill. As I work in a team, I learned not only to confidently tell my ideas to the whole group
member, but also to listen to their ideas and feedbacks. A leader was not elected for the group. In
return, each group member with different background take turns to talk about their ideas. We
discussed problems and ideas of how the presentation is going to go with an open mind and
understanding. Our group has a total of two meetings in Monash University and went through each
process together to make sure that we all had an agreement.Working together from the very first start
is very important as it improved outcomes (SOURCE). My team members and I felt free to share our
ideas and

Fear in Wordsworth s My heart leaps up when I behold , We Are Seven , Tintern Abbey , and

Romantic poetry conjures in the mind of many people images of sweet, pastoral landscapes populated
by picturesque citizens who live in quaint houses in rustic villages, with sheep grazing on green
swathed hills, while a young swain plights his troth to his fair young maiden, who reclines demurely
amidst the clover and smiles sunnily. William Wordsworth is perhaps the archetypal Romantic poet;
his most famous poem, I wandered lonely as a cloud , would seem on first reading to support the

by natural piety (line 9); not does wish or even simply wishes , but could wish , which implies not
only desire but envy. Does the speaker himself believe the affirmations he has made in the first six
lines?
As always with Wordsworth, the poem is not about what it seems at first glance. The child is father to
the man (line 7) is true in a basic sense: everything the man is comes from what the child was. A child
has natural, or unforced and hence automatic, piety; he must, simply because he has not yet acquired
the cultural baggage that modifies, cultivates and un naturalizes his being. Growing up is the process
of socialization the gaining of prejudices that block out unnecessary or extraneous thoughts, feelings
and images. Eventually enough prejudices are acquired that a reader can say Isn t that nice? , wipe
away a crocodile tear, and dismiss a poem that might be disturbing. The child, having not yet acquired
these prejudices, is closer to the fonts of meaning and truth; the child finds easily, even carelessly,
what the adult, by growing up, has lost forever. And here is the envy mentioned above almost a
resentment.
This resentment is evident in other of Wordsworth s works. In We Are Seven , for example, a young
girl maintains that there are seven children in her family, although two are dead; the narrator tries
insistently almost stridently to convince her that, with two dead, her parents have only five children.

We Have Not Long To Love Mood
Research Paper and Poem Analysis: Tennessee Williams We Have Not Long To Analyze This Poem
Remember a time when the adrenaline ran through you, speeding your every movement, and the
nervous feeling that overtook your entire body. Now remember a time when you felt relaxed and calm,
like the clock stopped and time stood still. Now, as strange as it sounds, imagine those two feelings
combining. This surreal state seems to describe the mood of the twenty line poem We Have Not Long
to Love by playwright and poet Tennessee Williams. This poem reflects that feeling when you know
there s no time and you must act quickly, but time seems not to move. The word choice, in the
beginning, reflects a rushed feeling We have not long to love. / Light does not stay. (Williams 1 2).
Then the poem suddenly changes the mood to relaxed, like there s enough time for anything, In
silence I have watched you / comb your hair. (7 8). Further statements, I could but did not, reach / to
touch your arm. / I could, but do not, break / that which is still. (11 14) give the impression that he is
indecisive and that he has time to both make up and change his mind. The last four lines are ... Show

We already discussed lines 11 through 14, in which the poet, contemplates his actions toward this
woman, debating whether to touch her arm establishing physical contact or break / that which is still
by telling her how he feels about her. I d also like to acknowledge and appreciate the ironic wordplay
of an rhythm cracking line break after the word break . (Almost the faintest whisper / would be shrill.)
(15 16) suggest that anything he says will be taken the wrong way and he will regret it. He is trapped
in his mind between letting this girl know how he feels about her and being disappointed by her
reaction because, in the words of Jonathan Coulton, Isn t it better not to know? (in text citation

Biography of Bob Marley Essay
Biography of Bob Marley Bob Marley was known for his accomplishment in the revolution of reggae
music. A great impact in his life was his belief in Rastafari which is about people turning to a natural
type of life style. While Bob was trying to get his music career going and fallow his belief in
Rastafari, he had a lot of struggles. All three of these things helped Bob accomplish everything he
accomplished in his short lived life of 36years. In those 36years of life Bob accomplished more things

By the end of the 1960 s, with the legendary reggae producer Lee Scratch Perry at the mixing desk,
The Wailers were again back at the top in Jamaica. The combination of the Wailers and Perry resulted
in some of the finest music the band ever made. Tracks like Soul Rebel, Duppy Conquerer, 400 Years,
and Small Axe were not only classics, but they defined the future direction of reggae.(Bob Marley
Bio) It s difficult to properly understand Bob Marley s music without considering Rastafari. His
spiritual beliefs are too well known to necessitate further explanation. It must be stated, however, that
Rastafari is at the very center of the Wailers music. His music and lyrics worked as the rhetoric of the
Rastafarian movement against oppression, exploitation and racism in Jamaica. Using metaphors to
describe the hardships of the political fights of Jamaicans and Africans Marley established himself as
the spokesman of a race and culture. The Rastafari religion, the heart of Bob s music, based itself in
belief of Jah, which was a metaphor for a god of goodness and love. Jah was the force fighting against
the oppression from Babylon, the destructive force.(Hot shot rock tributes) Metaphors of oppression
and freedom, such as chains and birds, depict social problems and ways of liberation (Jensen). Many
of Marley s lyrics included these references and therefore fell into the latitude

The similarity is notes payable also have fixed maturity dates and carry either a stated or implicit interest rate (Kieso, Weygandt, amp; Warfield, 2007, p. 685). The difference is notes payable are not easily tradable. A company reports notes payable in a similar fashion as it does bonds. In reporting a note payable a company records the note at its face value of its future interest and principal cash flows. The company amortizes any discount or premium of a note over its life. If a note has no bearing interest rate the company should report the difference between the face value and the cash received as a discount on the note. This amount one amortizes over the life of the note to interest expense. Capital Leases A company may use capital leases to finance its acquisition of capital assets. In lease financing a company must met the criteria of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) on capital leases. In this a company must record both a liability, and a related asset on its balance sheet. In reporting capital lease a company reports the lease at its present value of the minimum lease payments. The company allocates these lease payments using the effective interest method to interest expense. This allocation using the effective interest method reduces the lease liability of the company. The activities what Dastardly did would potentially lead to breaking the regulation under the protection of the Fraud Act 2006 (FA 2006). Section 2(1) in FA 2006 states that a person could be in breach of fraud if he gains something for himself or imposes a loss on someone else intentionally by making false representations. On the basis of Dastardly s work status as an ex employee, it might be no possibility for him to be guilty of those status crimes such as fraud by failing to disclose information or fraud by abuse of position. After the exclusion of other options, Dastardly is more likely to be prosecuted for the fraud by false representation. The FA 2006 has expressly set out several substantive elements that need to be satisfied when the offence liability is to be established. When talking about gain and loss through the dishonest representation, gain includes a gain by keeping what one has, as well as a gain by getting what one does not have, while loss includes a loss by not getting what one might get, as well as a loss by parting with what one has. The Effects Of Physical Abuse On Mental Illness Today, a colossal four hundred and fifty million (and growing) people in the world suffer from some form of mental illness in the world, however, only around one third of them seek any form of help (who.int World Health Report). This number was probably much lower in 1904, when this story was written, but I imagine it was also much more shameful and frightening to admit that you had a problem and needed help with all of the closer knit neighborhoods and insane asylums that have closed down over the last hundred years. While I read Paul s case, I thought of a number of things, history of physical abuse or trauma that might have made him shy away from physical contact, drug use (even one prescribed for a chronic illness or disease,) and that even a terminal illness had made him misanthropic. Nevertheless, I always came back to mental illness. The few sentences that solidified my belief were: I don t really believe that smile of his comes altogether from insolence; there s something sort of haunted about it. The boy is not strong for one Thing. There is something wrong with the fellow (Paul s Case, Willa Cather). Paul had dramatic changes in mood from one place to another, anywhere art related or the finer things in life created an intoxicating, manic state; the unremarkable had the opposite effect, he became disdainful and lethargic. Cultural Reflection Prior to taking this course, I had put very little thought into my culture let alone grappled with the fact that culture is far more complex than something that we simply have. Early in the semester we touched upon the fact that culture is, in actuality, much more nuanced and is something practiced and experienced differently on every scale and in every interaction throughout every person s lifetime. Upon completion of the course, an investigation into my own culture will exemplify just that. First, looking at historical, cultural and family background, I will examine how my position within my unique family has shaped how I approach the world around me. Here I will tie in an especially personal element that I feel shapes many parts of my cultural identity being the fact that I am adopted. Next, an examination of the significance of travel, migration, and languages in my life builds on tradition, but reflects an identity that I have recently taken on as an independent young adult outside of how I was raised. Then, I will touch upon how nationality and religion have been significant in my cultural socialization. I will look at how I grapple with my nationality, and how generational pressures have led to conflicts resulting in growth, development, and meaningful choices. Finally, looking closely at some of my most valued friendships, as well as the nature of my broader social life and life goals, I will argue that they largely reflect elements mentioned earlier, especially ... Hume s argument is that there is no rational reason for human beings to believe in miracles, and that it is wrong to have miracles as the building blocks for religion. It is because the general notion of miracles come from the statement of others who claim to have seen them, Hume believes that there is no way to prove that those accounts are accurate, because they were not experienced first hand. In order to believe a miracle, the evidence should be concrete, and something irrefutable. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In essence, any miracle that a Christian believes as fact, is something that a Muslim person would consider hearsay, and vice versa. There is a constant battle between religions to disprove the other s miracles, and Hume believes that none of these miracles occurred. To Hume, it is never rational to believe in a miracle, as it is a violation of the laws of nature. For a miracle to be believable, it must be based on testimony, and have a focus on something that can be proven. This testimony must have evidence to justify that the miracle is in fact based on a law of nature. For Hume, if a miracle is to be rationally accepted, the evidence to support it must be balanced for the evidence in the natural world. Even if there is a conflicting piece of evidence for the miracle, the conclusion must indicate that said miracle is a probable occurrence. With that probable evidence must come absolute proof that the person who experienced the miracle was in his or her right state of mind, was never diagnosed with a mental illness, and is a person who can be trusted to give factual suggestions. Essentially, a miracle is possible because it is conceivable, but in reality, there is no evidence to prove it. To properly establish his position on miracles, Hume writes: no testimony is sufficient to establish a miracle, unless the testimony be of such a kind, that its falsehood would be more miraculous, than the fact, which it endeavours to establish (Hume, An Enquiry ... Explain how Oscar Romero s religious beliefs affected his work for social change I will not tire of declaring that if we truly want an effective end to the violence, we must eliminate the violence that lies at the root of all violence: structural violence, social injustice, the exclusion of citizens from the management of the country, repression, Oscar Romero said in his sermon on the 23rd September 1979. Six months later, Romero was shot and killed. During the 1970 s and 80 s the El Salvadorian public experienced a brutal campaign of repression by the military government, which claimed thousands of lives. These elements both play an important role in communicating the movie maker s ideas to the viewers. However, the key differences between the plot and story of a film revolve around their main functions and based on how they interact with the key components of the narrative. The plot of a film lays out all of the events that take place in the exact order presented and can utilize a variety of developmental elements to move the film from the beginning to the end. This is an example where the plot gap doesn t get a resolution and the event is completely disregarded. The story can only be created in a viewer has something to base an inference off of in order to fill the plot gap. The exclusion of this information allows the viewer to recognize that the time she aged in between the sections is not relevant to the overall story and shows that there are more important aspects of the film to focus on in order to reveal the whole story. Another instance in this film that illustrates the distinction between plot and story involves the use of parallelism. In the second section of the film there is a scene Anna Marie watches over a cow as it dies. The camera cuts to a close up of the cows eyes tearing up and then to a close up of Anna Marie s eye tearing up. The similarity of the angle at which Anna Marie and the cow were filmed signified that there was something important to be taken away from that scene because it put so much focus on those two subjects. This was not explicitly presented in the plot, but the use of parallelism to focus the viewers attention to Anna Marie and the cow in that moment was an indicator that the scene was relevant to the ... Borate materials have a few great properties, for example, short growth period, high damage threshold, large effective nonlinear coefficient and good mechanical properties.6 This suggests that borate materials are well fitted for the purpose of laser frequency conversion. BaB2O4, LiB3O5, CsB3O5 and YCa4(BO3)3O are examples of well known borate based NLO crystals.2 An early review on the comparison of the damage threshold and optical transmittance of these mentioned borate crystal compounds have been done by Becker in which the use of the favourable anionic group and birefringence in the borate materials are the essential features needed to produce ... This film opened my eyes to many of the different human behavioral patterns and community design elements which I never really noticed or thought about before. It also made me realize how elements as simple as the ones introduced in the film can be crucial for creating a great urban space. For instance, I was very surprised to know that most people in open spaces spend their time looking at what other people are doing, and that most people do not stop and talk in the middle of large spaces, instead they do so at steps, flag poles, edges, and things of the like. I also found it very interesting that men tend to occupy the front row of table seats in open spaces, while women tend to occupy the back row of table seats in open spaces. There were three things in the movie which really stood out to me and made me stop and think. The first thing was that it never occurred to me how cruel it is to put water before people in open spaces, then disallow them from using it. The purpose of open spaces should be to bring enjoyment and comfort to its users. The Effects Of Hormones On The Body s Central Glucocorticoid Upon activation by an emotional or physical stressor, corticotropic releasing hormone (CRH) is released from the paraventricular cells of the hypothalamus and exerts its effect on the anterior pituitary gland Here, CRH stimulates the synthesis of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) and its release into the bloodstream [19,20]. In turn, ACTH acts on receptors of the adrenal cortex to stimulate the synthesis and release of cortisol [19,20]. Also known as the body s stress hormone , cortisol travels through the blood in both protein bound (inactive) and free (active) forms. Cortisol can act to limit its own synthesis via a negative feedback mechanism to the hypothalamus and pituitary gland [19,20]. Upon reaching a target cell, free cortisol diffuses through the cell membrane to bind to the cytoplasmic glucocorti coid receptor [19,20]. This ligand receptor complex translocates to the nucleus where it binds glucocorticoid response elements to affect transcription of target genes [19,20]. As our body s central glucocorticoid, cortisol has many actions. These include gluconeogenesis, lipolysis, modulating the immune system, increase of blood pressure and insulin resistance [19,20]. Cortisol is metabolized by 11 beta hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 2 to its inactive form, cortisone [19,20 GOW Stress can be broadly defined as any stimulus that disrupts homeostasis, with the stress response referring to physiological and behavioral reactions to such a stimulus (Selye, 1950). Introduction While A Game of Thrones can in many ways be compared to other outstanding works in literature, whether it is Lord of the Rings for its fantasy setting or Hamlet for themes of love, intrigue, political games and treachery, what truly make the novel great are its characters. In many novels, one might argue that the characters are merely a product of their situation and the story, while in A Game of Thrones the story is in many ways the product of the characters. What I mean by this is that characters often merely react to events that occur around them, while characters in A Game of Thrones create the events that build up the story. Therefore I will look at how George R.R. Martin uses creates and uses intriguing and diverse characters in A Game of Thrones. The world in A Game of Thrones is full of complex and changing characters with very distinct personalities and some of them change drastically, which makes it ideal for this type of investigation. 1.1. The Use of Aripiprazole for Acute Mania: Critiquing a systematic research review Systematic reviews are based on an extensive and meticulous search for studies and research and are selective of the data that is reported; excluding poor quality studies and accurately categorizing the quality of the research that has been chosen (Melnyk, Fineout Overholt, 2011). Once there are several sources of information presented on issues, or studies that are conducted on a concern; clinicians may then set out to pull together the results of the findings into one area to aid in visualizing the larger scheme of the concern. In this manner, identifying the relevance, side effects and outcomes of drugs to control or alter the experiences of patients with particular diseases and disorders becomes instrumental in how clinical practices and guidelines are developed (Taylor, Cornelius, Smith, Young, 2014). In this paper, the use of aripiprazole alone and in combination with other drug agents will be examined through identifying the medications relevance, safety concerns and hypothesized patient outcomes as illustrated by the culmination of current studies. Through the use of a systematic research review (SRR), we will assist in setting a standard of care built on the research of aripiprazole that identifies what is identified as inevitability, what is tentatively recognized, and what are the disparities of knowledge regarding its usage (Garay, Llorca, Young, Hameg, Samalin, 2014). ... Schoedsack s King Kong introduces the element of surprise within the plot that leaves many to feel flabbergasted at the unravelled events. A gorilla worshiped as a god by many, that goes by the name of Kong is inhabiting an unknown island where a film is set to be produced within the movie. Due to the crew s admiration of the gorilla, they offer their star actress Ann Darrow as a sacrifice to appease the beast. However, Kong eventually falls in love with Ann, regardless of their biological differences. On the other hand, Ann already has a human companion by the name of Carl Denham who intends to rescue Ann from the gorilla s grasp rather than to see her disappear forever with Kong. The idea that love between a beast and human seem rather trivial in the eyes of spectators who critique the movie; the plot provides a surprising element to illuminate the fact that the fondness between the individuals are portrayed different from within our usual view of what is normal. In comparison with the 2005 film adaption by director Peter Jackson, I d say that the recent film deviated from the film to create an atmosphere where the audience are made to wait in suspense for each passing scene. Since film director Peter Jackson directed the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy, many expected the movie to be an amazing spectacle. Executive Summary Moving towards a cashless society, increased efficiency, improved service offering and better security for the DCU Community form the premise of this report. Technology is changing at a rapid pace and the challenge lies in identifying the optimum campus card solution, which will best suit the needs of DCU. From a thorough examination of a host of campus card programmes, a comprehensive set of recommendations has been reached. A contactless, proprietary, one card system is believed to be the most advantageous solution for the DCU campus. Future interoperability, system reliability and ease of use have been paramount in this decision making process. A staggered campus wide rollout is proposed, to allow for close monitoring of each implementation phase. This will ensure a seamless integration of the contactless technology without vast initial outlay. The service offering of this one card solution will incorporate all aspects of campus life; payment, access control, security, printing, photocopying, vending and car parking. The system has been designed to ensure future compatibility with non campus vendors, ultimately facilitating growth of the card s functionality. Does the speaker himself believe the affirmations he has made in the first six lines? As always with Wordsworth, the poem is not about what it seems at first glance. The child is father to the man (line 7) is true in a basic sense: everything the man is comes from what the child was. A child has natural, or unforced and hence automatic, piety; he must, simply because he has not yet acquired the cultural baggage that modifies, cultivates and un naturalizes his being. Growing up is the process of socialization the gaining of prejudices that block out unnecessary or extraneous thoughts, feelings and images. Eventually enough prejudices are acquired that a reader can say Isn t that nice? , wipe away a crocodile tear, and dismiss a poem that might be disturbing. The child, having not yet acquired these prejudices, is closer to the fonts of meaning and truth; the child finds easily, even carelessly, what the adult, by growing up, has lost forever. And here is the envy mentioned above almost a resentment. This resentment is evident in other of Wordsworth s works.
