     The 5’6″ Latina stunner, who lamented she’ll
     never be as skinny as she was pre-pregnancy, has
     said her post-baby weight loss plans include a
     1,200-calorie-a-day diet plan to stave away the
     fat, Alba follows a weight loss diet plan similar
     to The South Beach Diet plan, a low-carb diet
     weight loss program. She also practices portion
     control in her diet plan and avoids bread and
     desserts, which are rich in carbohydrates. Of

     loss diet plan rules:

     Jessica Alba’s Diet Plan Rule #1: Lean meats are
     king. She fills up with lean cuts of meat, such as
     chicken breasts and fish.

     Jessica Alba’s Diet Plan Rule #2: She keeps fat
     low. Fatty foods are out – lean foods are in. To
     cut out the fat, she eliminates egg yolks, opts
     for sushi and eats vitamin-packed fruits
     and vegetables.

     finish her plate. While eating out, her fitness
     trainer claims she eats only half of her entree,
     allowing her to splurge without consuming too

     321 translates as 3 meals, 2 snacks and 1 liter of
     water a day. It is very similar to the South Beach
     Diet with a focus on low glycemic

     While Alba was pregnant with her first child, she
     went on an even more specialized weight loss
     diet plan to keep weight gain low during
     pregnancy. Reports say that she eliminated white
     foods, such as foods made with white flour or
     sugar, to keep her trim even before labor.

     Alba gained some modest weight during her
     pregnancy, packing up a reported 35 pounds – and
     then shredded away most of it two months
     later. But she never resorted to extreme diets
     to lose weight, nor did she skip breakfast, which
     some dieters do to shed the excess poundage.

          Jessica’s 45- to 60-Minute Cardio Exercise &
            Weight-Lifting Fitness Exercise Program

     treadmill four times a week combined with

     “I try to do my fitness exercise program every
     day for 45 minutes to an hour,” she has said. “I
     start out on the treadmills or elliptical
     machine for 10 to 15 minutes to get my heart rate
     up to 180 beats per minute. Then I do 50 lunges
     and crunches.
     “Next I get back on the machine for another 10
     minutes. Then I work on shoulders, biceps and
     triceps. I do that nonstop for four sets. When I

     and feel good about myself.”
