Doylestown

1. Making our way over to “Oh Hello Deer,” the business I work for. People are
gathering towards the booths to see what others are selling. Through the booth you
can see my boss surrounded by all of the things she sells, some of which I helped
make!

2. Here are some of the
handmade items my bosses
designed. They sell many
things including home
goods, accessories, and
apparel. I have helped hand
paint the letter hooks
displayed. They use all
recycled wood and cut it
themselves. Everything is
made by them (and me and
my twin!) making the items
unique.

3. While walking through the festival
we came across these wooden
pieces. There were very interesting
bird houses along with tall
sculptural pieces. As pictured, this
artist made the character Rango.
These pieces, while kind of creepy,
clearly were made with effort and
creativity.

4. This artist was selling pottery pieces. While walking past this booth I
couldn’t help thinking how they felt like something I would see in a
museum. They had this organic quality to them and they were beautiful
pieces. The color choices caught my eye and gave the pieces that old look
they reminded me of.

5. The Festival was packed with people on Sunday. This entire street was covered with
people looking at the artwork displayed. Food vendors were out giving deals and
restaurants were crowded as well. The weather remained nice through the day, which
was good for the artists!
