Setup a New Virtualenv for Django in Windows

1. Setup a New Virtualenv
for Django in Windows

2. Create a New Virtual env
> virtualenv.py mytodo

3. Activate the Environment
> Scriptsactivate

4. Install Django using pip
> pip install django

5. Verify the installation
> pip freeze

6. Installing Database Drivers
(Optional)

7. Install mysql-python using
easy_install
> easy_install mysql-python

8. Verify the installation
> pip freeze

9. Install psycopg using easy_install
> easy_install <URL>
URL(32-bit): http://www.stickpeople.com/projects/python/win-psycopg/2.5.1/psycopg2-2.5.1.win32-py2.7-pg9.2.4-release.exe
URL(64-bit): http://www.stickpeople.com/projects/python/win-psycopg/2.5.1/psycopg2-2.5.1.win-amd64-py2.7-pg9.2.4-release.exe

10. Verify the installation
> pip freeze

11. Base environment is ready!
