Here we have 3 examples:CheetahDeals is using it as a billboard advertising their core offerings,Zappos is using it as an engagement tool – encouraging fans to post pics of themselves enjoying the products and then rewarding the community with a “fan of the week” shout out.Social Media Examiner uses their space to promote events and available white papers to bring value as a resource to their community.One thing to note when creating these images (click) is you’ll want to be sure and design them in such a way that a segment can be cropped into the desired avatar that will appear when you post. Keeping in mind that we always want to respect our communities that we’ve built both personally and professionally look to invite those who may truly find real value in your company page’s content.

Number 2: The ShortenedurlOnce you have at least 25 fans or “likes” you can claim a shortened url.A great way to consistently brand all of you media - a shortened url allow you to promote and socialize your Facebook page easier… instead of saying “like us at Facebook.com/9872thkle9t0uio-90 you can say like us at Facebook.com/siteseekerincWord of caution: you can never go back so choose your name wisely!

This is not about pictures this is about tagging in posts.So you come across a great article that you think is relevant to your Facebook community and you’d like to share it…Note what the article is about – this one is about CNET, Google Chrome and AndroidBe sure you’re Using Facebook as Your CompanySearch for the business pages of the companies noted in the blog postLike the pages.Return to your profile pageChoose Link from the Share options on your page.Paste the link of the blog article you wish to share and click Attach.Now compose your comment tagging the Companies you’re referencing with an “@” symbol.Click ShareNotice the tagged companies are hyperlinked to the corresponding Facebook pages where your post now appears in their stream!Of course, be sure to go back and “Like” it on your page!
