Praise the Lord! I want to first give honor to the Lord for my life, for His
love, for His gifts, and His direction. May I always follow Him for all
eternity.

Chapter One - As I Begin
             As I begin another book, the thoughts crossed my mind about
             what this book should be about. There is so much inside of me
             that is waiting to come out and yet not sure which should come
             first, the growth or the longing for more growth. So what I
decided to do is start with the praise and I will allow the rest to follow, for
the direction of the Lord is always what we want in our lives in every aspect
of our life. It is truly the blessings of the Lord that we are always striving for
and yes, we shall discuss that later too.

Let me start with my praise as I have to start with praise in the Lord. God is
truly blessing me in the manner of growth. In writing the three previous
books, the Lord has shown me sides of myself that I did not know existed. I
have to give Him all honor and glory for my very life. In case you have not
read The Truth of Alissa Lynne I, which is my life story and funny as it may
seem, it is still a shorten version of my life story. Praise God for the growth
in Him.

My Life Testimony:

Praise the Lord, God is truly awesome and wonderful. He has blessed me so
and I would like to share what He has done for me in my life. For the Lord
is with us always, even when we do not know Him, He knows us.

At the age of six months old, I was sick with the Asian flu, at the time
there was a strain going around that was ending the lives of infants and
senior citizens. My mother took me to the doctors the doctor pretty much
said to give the medication for that is all they could do. My mom took me

home, and said she watched life leave me, I was limp and was shallow
breathing. She told me that she rubbed me with rubbing alcohol and prayed
over me. She said she placed her child on the altar of God and committed
my life to Him. An hour later I was bouncing up and down on her leg and
showed no signs of having any illness.

At the age of 8 years old, I was lying in my bed and felt some one shake
me. I woke up to a room full of smoke and no one was there. I told my
mom, and as we all left the house, my bedroom blew up. The room was
destroyed but I was not there! To this day, I know I was touched by God!
AMEN!

At the age of 17 years old, colon cancer attacked me. The Lord blessed
me to overcome this disease.

At the age of 25 years old, thyroid cancer came at me and the Lord
blessed me to overcome that illness.

At the age of 33 years old, I had cancer in my uterus, and yet again God
blessed me to still be here.

At the age of 38 years old, I was diagnosed with Lupus, and though
from time to time, I have flare ups, my organs have not been damaged, and
I know that I am healed in the name of Jesus.

At the age of 42 years old, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, and have
overcome with doctor's direction and medication.

From the age of 6 years old until I was 17 years old, I was molested
by my step father and grew up in fear that my family would perish if I told
anyone. My relationship with my mother were gravely strained and when I

was able to move out, I did! I started a life of hanging out, drinking,
sleeping around, experimenting with drugs and really not caring about my
life.

I got married twice to two men who were abusive to me in more ways than
one. I was at the lowest point ever in my life that I had ever been for I was a
walking zombie. I wanted to die and after years of trying to kill myself and
spending time with therapists and hospitals, nothing was working.

My 2nd husband of 8 years left me for another woman leaving me with my
son to parent alone. I was devastated and hurting beyond belief. I knew I
had to go to church and it was what I needed. I walked in the doors and felt
better. I joined the church and was baptized on July 24, 2005. The enemy
attacked me as I was not reading the word of God as I should and surely
was not praying as I should. I was half way doing what I had to do.

The day my life was changed when I decided I was going to take matters
into my own hands; I jumped in my van and banged on the door of my
estranged husband with the thought of killing him, his girlfriend and
myself. As I was banging on the door, begging them to come out, a voice
screamed in my head - He said, "Go Home!"

I felt so different and for one moment there was peace that came over me. I
got in my van and I have no idea how I got home. I was crying and could
not stop. I called my aunt, and poured it out in tears, talking in words that
were not detectable to anyone, as the tears flowed beyond comprehension
as the words were coming out of my mouth.

When I was finally able to talk and got off the phone, I cried it all out to the
Lord and when I was done crying, I looked in the mirror and saw what God

saw. I saw that I had to see me as He saw me. I knew it was the beginning of
a new life in Jesus and for the first time in my life, after hearing Him speak
to me to love Him with all my heart and trust in Him,

I started talking to the Lord more, I started hearing His words to me and I
was blessed to be filled with His Holy Spirit in speaking in tongues on
March 2, 2007. My life has not been the same since!

I am a blessed woman and sometimes I wonder why He loves me so, yet
you know what, He loves me so much that He blesses me every day with
new grace and mercy!

He sent a man of God into my life who has loved me through the pains and
hurt of my past life. Jesus showed me real love in my husband. He has
shown me that He can be all that we need and when we are in Him we can
live life abundantly. He has set me on a new path and a new walk in Him. I
have never been this happy in my life. Sure things happen and pains come
but the Lord heals me in all that I go through as long as I go to the Lord and
I give it all to Jesus.

He has laid a path before me that is awesome because the path is in Him.
He has healed me in all aspects of life. I have been healed in my body, my
mind, and my very spirit and soul! God is just so awesome, just spending
time with the Lord can change your life for all eternity. I am standing in His
word and I know that He will keep me!

May you continue to stand in the Lord and know that He can deliver you
from any situation that you find yourself in. He will bring you out of the
mess that the world has dealt you and even the mess that we ourselves
create! God is awesome and I am blessed in Him.

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to
destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it
more abundantly.

Praise the Lord for what the enemy meant to destroy, the Lord has meant
for His glory. Often times we look at Romans 8:28 "And we know that all
things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the
called according to His purpose", and do not understand that even the bad
things that are allowed to happen to us work for our good. In all that I went
through in my life, it was a testimony not just to the world but to me about
how awesome the Lord is. My life strengthened my walk in Him, my faith in
Him. For He has brought me through so much before I knew Him, why
should I doubt that He would bring me through things now in my life, now
that I not only know Him but live for Him. It is truly the Lord who blesses
us in all that we do.

I praise the Lord for all that He has done in my life, all that He is doing in
my life and all that is still to come in my life. If it had not been for His grace
and mercy, I would be lost for all eternity.

As I think of the things that God has promised us as His children, we are
truly a blessed generation. We are loved by the Lord and in Him we are
truly blessed, nothing we have done is why He loves us, it is in Him that we
get our strength to move forward. There is nothing that we have done or
can do to cause Him to love us, it is truly the love of the Lord that binds us
together.

It is the love of the Lord that keeps us. . . onward to Chapter Two - The Love
of Jesus.

                       Chapter Two
                     The Love of Jesus
         John 1:1-5 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was
         with God, and the Word was God.2The same was in the beginning
         with God.3All things were made by him; and without him was not
         anything made that was made. 4In him was life; and the life was
the light of men. 5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness
comprehended it not.

John 3:14-17 14And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even
so must the Son of man be lifted up:15That whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have eternal life. 16For God so loved the world, that
he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not
perish, but have everlasting life. 17For God sent not his Son into the world
to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

In all my reading and research of the word for me John 1:1-5 tells us who
Jesus really is and John 3:14-17 tells us what love really is. When we are
faced with so many issues in our lives, sometimes we just do not take the
time to understand that God is truly moving and doing what is necessary
because He loves us. He keeps us in the safety of His arms and really brings
us to the point of understanding His love if we allow Him.

The love of Jesus is truly an awesome thing to think about. When we take
the time to really mediate and get rid of the things that are blocking our
minds to be free in Jesus, we are able to truly hear from Him and know His
love. It is in His love that we get strength to continue to press on even when

we are ready in the flesh to give up. We are more than that in Christ. We
have to understand that His love is truly a blessing to us for He did not have
to love us. Remember God destroyed the earth once before and if He chose
to do it again, He could do so. What stops Him from doing so; it is His love
for us that keeps Him from destroying us.

When we look at the love of the Lord, we need to realize what the Word says
first, He was here in the beginning of life itself. So when the world was
being formed, He was here. The Word says that in John Chapter One,
and to back it up, in Genesis the Word says. . .

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our
likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the
fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every
creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Notice the reference to "we". . . I believe that it is so we know that Jesus is
God. He was there! And still, the love begins when He formed the earth.
The love for His children began and He blessed us with a place to live in the
forming of the earth, adding light to darkness, and calling it Day and Night.

He loved us when He created the Heaven and divided the waters. He loved
us when He created dry land, seas, trees, grass, and the plant life that we
enjoy so much. He loved us when He created the stars, sun, and the moon
so that we would have light and seasons. He loved us when He made all the
animals, those on the land, those in the air, and those in the waters. He
loved us when He directed them all to be fruitful and multiply.

His love was not finished for on the sixth day, He loved us so much, He
made us in His image. We were created in His likeness, no one else but His
likeness. He made Adam first, and He knew that man should not be alone,
He made Eve, his helpmeet. He gave us dominion over the entire world, the
entire earth and all things in this earth. He loved us so much; He put us in
charge. Remember what He told Adam and Eve in

Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful,
and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion
over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living
thing that moved upon the earth.

It is truly a blessing from the Lord to have the kind of control over the earth
that He has given us. Truly a shame to see what we are doing to it, but that
is because of the fall of man. Even in the fall of man, He loved us.

We fell from this wonderful place the Lord created for us, the Garden of
Eden. Yes, we were not there, but we are Adam and Eve too. We fell from
the Lord's way for us by being disobedient to Him. The entire Chapter of
Genesis Three shows how we fall from Him by allowing ourselves to be
deceived, but there is one factor we have to look at first. The Lord gave us a
mind to think and also free will before eating of the Tree of Knowledge of
Good and Evil. Adam and Eve were walking with the Lord and talking with
the Lord. They had a beautiful life and could have chosen to keep it that
way. The love of the Lord gave them a taste of how life can be, but He knew
He had to allow them to serve Him willingly and not selfishly. The serpent
was permitted to come and tempt. The serpent was permitted because the

Lord wanted us to serve because we 'wanted' to serve Him, not because we
did not have any other way to live. He loved us so much, He gave us choice!

Eve did not choose the way of the Lord and Adam followed right after her.
However, the Lord loves us. He loves us so much that He did not kill Adam
and Eve. He let them live and He promised the coming of Jesus.

Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and
between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt
bruise his heel.

He knew when we fell, that we were going to need a Savior, He loved us
even then. He had us leave Paradise with a promise to return, that is love.

Time moves on and man becomes wicked and yet, He did not kill us. He
saved a man and his family who according to the word of God found grace
with God.

Genesis 6:6-8 6And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the
earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7And the LORD said, I will destroy
man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast,
and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I
have made them. 8But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

Yes, we grieved God to the point of wanting to kill us all, and of all those
people who were walking this earth at that time, only one family found
grace, Noah's family. He spared that family from certain death, now that is
love.

Man prospered and repopulated the Earth. Man did a lot of foolish things
such as the Tower of Babel trying to build to the sky to reach heaven. The
Lord still blessed His people, those that were determined to serve the Lord.
Abraham was born Abram and he was a man who walked and talked with
the Lord. Despite the fact that Abraham lied on several occasions trying to
spare his own life, and took some matters into his own hand without
consulting God first, the Lord blessed Abraham. He blessed him to prosper
as Abraham was a rich man whose house served the Lord. He had a
beautiful wife, and was blessed with a beautiful son in his old age.

We all know that story of Abraham that is told in Genesis Chapter 11:26
to Genesis Chapter 23, where the story of Isaac starts. Abraham was a
man who was tested by God and he obeyed God. He loved the Lord so much
that he was to sacrifice his son to the Lord, and God loved him so, that He
stopped him from doing it. Abraham pleaded for the cities of Sodom and
Gomorrah for the righteous souls in those cities and though there were not
any righteous in those cities, the Lord saved his nephew and family from
certain death. This is yet God's love.

God made a covenant with Abraham that his seed would be more than stars
in the heavens. (Genesis 15:4-6 and Genesis 22:16-18). This is still the
love of God, as we look at the lineage of Abraham. Out of his loins rose a
huge nation, the twelve tribes of Israel were born of his son's children
(Abraham, Isaac, Jacob = twelve tribes of Israel). He kept His covenant
with Abraham and He had the family grow. The family was saved on many
occasions from certain death as they were making mistakes in their lives.
The Lord protected them, even Joseph when he was in the land of Egypt.
The Lord raised Joseph, a Hebrew to answer to be second in command of

Egypt with only answering to Pharaoh himself (Genesis 41:39-46). Yet in
doing so, the Lord saved the family yet again, this is the love of Jesus.

The Lord spoke of the ruling over Abraham's family to be afflicted for four
hundred years, pre warning them of things to come (Genesis 15:12-14).
This is love of the Lord. He did not have to tell Abraham a word of what was
to come or how long they would serve in affliction, but the Lord did. This is
love. He sent them a man to guide them out of their bondage; this is the
love of the Lord. He had to make him special first. Moses was a special
child, who found favor in the eyes of the Pharaoh's daughter after a
proclamation went out that all Hebrew males were to be killed at birth
(Exodus 1:8 to Exodus 2:10). He was blessed by the Lord and placed in
a position of favor with the Lord. This was love, for his life was spared for
the glory of the Lord. Moses came to take the Israelites from the bondage of
Egypt and the Lord used plagues to show His mighty power and strength to
the Egyptians. I believe it was a way for those that might believe that God is
God and there is no other God before Him to the Egyptians as they were
and still known for their many gods. Now, that is a God of love.

God, in His awesome ways, freed the Israelites from the bondage to the
Egyptians and saved them in battle so many times. Even after they
disobeyed Him on many occasions. He still loved them and those that were
righteous before Him did not die. Those that were unrighteous before the
Lord did die. For example, those that were part of the building of the idols
were killed, but those that stood for the Lord were spared. Those that were
complainers did not see the Promise land, but the Lord spared the Israelites
in battle to get there. He saved the Israelites in many battles as long as they
conducted themselves in the manner that He instructed them. Remember

the Walls of Jericho (The book of Joshua) and the conquering of all the
land the Lord blessed them with. Remember Gideon (Judges Chapter
Seven) and how the Lord saved them in a battle with a small number of
men. This was the love of the Lord.

He sent Esther (The book of Esther) to the King to be his wife to save the
Israelites yet again from certain death. He blessed His people with such
grace and mercy repeatedly despite their disobedience. This is love. The
ultimate act of love was yet to be seen. There were years between the Lord
talking with His people and the birth of Christ. He had not abandoned His
people, they had abandoned Him. He was still the same God as always just
as His people were always still His people, getting into trouble and the Lord
bailing them out. If you really read the Old Testament, you will see how the
Lord set things up for worshipping Him, sacrifices and being in His
presence.

At the end of the Old Testament and during the beginning of the New
Testament, the way to receive forgiveness was to take your offering for the
Lord. To the priest and the priest would take the offering to the Lord. Only
the High Priests could go into the presence of the Lord and even some of
them died in His presence. In Leviticus, there are rules and priest rituals for
the Israelites; Deuteronomy is detailed law/code by which the Israelites
were to live by. I find those books to be very interesting because of the
detail and order that the Lord placed on His people.

One of the interesting facts is that the priest had to offer up their sins first
and then the people's sin, a reminder of how unclean we really are in the
presence of the Lord. It is important to remember that no one was

permitted in the Holies of Holy, no one but the High Priest was permitted
there.

As we think on all that the Israelites and mankind has been through in just
the Old Testament, the stories are mostly about those of the Israelite
nation. There are a few references to people who were not of the Israelite
nation, but when mentioned it was because they were at war with the
Israelites. This is because God made a covenant with Abraham and His
seed, the Israelites. Yet there were many more nations not born of the
Israelites that God loved. How do I know that God loved them? The
scriptures at the beginning of the chapter:

John 3:14-17    14And   as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even

he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not

These scriptures are not talking about just the Israelites, but the world.

True love came down in the form of man, our God can down in the form of
man, and this man was named Jesus. He was no ordinary man from the
moment of His conception. He was not created by ordinary men, but by
God Himself. He left Heaven to come save us. His birth was a miracle of
love. He was born of a virgin, who knew no man while she carried Him in
her womb. The enemy tried to kill Him from the day of His birth, by killing
off all those male children under the age of two. This man grew in spirit and
in truth, which means He was perfect. He was perfect in all ways. Yet, the

love has not shown fullness of the love He has for us. All He has done thus
far for the Israelites and now being born has not yet shown His true love for
us.

Jesus walked this earth 33 years. He was in the ministry of healing and
miracles for three years. Many were saved, healed, delivered, set free,
forgiven and truly loved by Jesus. There are so many stories that are in the
word of God that tells us what He did while He was here and there are
plenty that are not told.

John 21:25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the
which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world
itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

He was a walking miracle maker. He spoke life into everyone and
condemned no one but preached everlasting life if we just believe in Him.
This is still not the most precious act of love that the Lord has given us.

He was beaten beyond recognition. Let us think about that for a minute, He
was beaten beyond recognition, which is saying that He was beaten beyond
reason.

Isaiah 52:14 (KJV) - As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so
marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men;

Isaiah 52:14 (NIV) - Just as there were many who were appalled at him,
his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any man and his form
marred beyond human likeness

Take a moment and allow that to sink in. Think about the fact that we
watch gross stuff on television all the time, look at yourself in the mirror
and try to picture your face so bloody, so beaten up that no one could tell it
was you. He was beaten for us. Now let us really look over the death of
Jesus for a minute. I am sure we are all familiar with it enough but there
are a few points I want to make to get a picture of His state BEFORE He
was crucified.

He was beaten beyond recognition before He was crucified; He was beaten
before the Jews had a chance to select Barnabas over Him. It states in

John 19:1-3 1Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him. 2And
the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put
on him a purple robe, 3And said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote
him with their hands.

I did a search online for the practice of scourge and it is so brutal. It was
meant as a torture method to get information from the victim. In my
research the Roman Empire kept showing up as the worst offenders to this
practice. It is taught to some that Jesus was hit with 39 lashes, but if that is
so, it was done by the Jews for the Romans were known to go for long
periods of time whipping their victims. In reading all of that, we will come
to see that Jesus received the worse punishment ever from these people.

Now this is love, but still not the most precious act of love that Jesus has
shown us. This is all prior to His actual crucifying. He still had to actually
die on the cross. Saying that Jesus died on the cross sounds so much better
than what really happened. Now imagine Jesus has been beaten beyond
recognition, which means He is not only sore, beaten, but tired and body

broken. Most likely having passed out at times from the pain, as the
Romans were cruel people. Yet, the cruelest part has yet to come, after
going through all that, He now faces the actual cross.

He started out carrying His cross which is estimated to be 75 to 125 pounds
for the cross and 300 pounds for the entire cross. Now, we know He was
too weak to carry His cross so another man carried it for Him (Matthew
27:32; Mark 15:21; Luke 23:26). Yet He had to hang on it. He was
nailed to the cross and then hung to die. He hung there by nails, which had
to be ripping His hands to pieces as gravity is pulling His body down. As He
is there on the cross, He asked the Lord to forgive us for our sins, for we
know not what we do to Him. This is love, yet not the greatest act of love yet
shown to us by Him. He forgives the other man who is hanging on the cross
at the same as he is and tells him that He is forgiven and loved.

This is yet another act of love from Jesus. He dies and when He dies, the
veil in the temple was ripped from the top to the bottom (Matthew 27:51,
Mark 15:38, and Luke 23:45). This is the first step towards the greatest
act of love that Jesus has shown to us. Give me yet a few more moments of
your time to complete the picture, but keep this in mind.

He is laid in the tomb for burial and as we know, He defeats death and the
enemy, by rising in life for all eternity with all powers in His hands.
Nothing can defeat Him and yet there are a few more things to mention.

After His resurrection but before ascending to Heaven and His throne in
glory, He was here with the disciples instructing them and minister to them
on how to be His disciples. He instructs them on what to do and where to
go. He spends time again with His people. This is still not the act of love

that I am speaking about. He made us a promise that if we believe on Him,
we would not perish but have ever lasting life, because He came to give life
everlasting. It is His promise that He has made to us that is the beginning
of the greatest act of love that Jesus has done for us.

The greatest act that Jesus has done for us was:

Matthew 13:16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for
they hear.

Do you see where I am going with this, the greatest act of love does not just
stop in all that I have mentioned in this chapter because it is just the
beginning of the love, and the greatest act of it all is that we are blessed by
Him to have the ears and eyes to know Him. We are a chosen generation, a
royal priesthood. We are special unto the Lord for. . .

John 10:27-28 27My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they
follow me: 28And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish,
neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

The greatest act of love given unto us is the love He showed us when He
plucked us out of darkness into His marvelous light. Was it you that saved
yourself, was it you that made it so you could hear what was being said to
you about His love? Did you have anything to do with why you are saved?
No, you did have the choice to accept it, but He made it so you heard His
call for your life in Him. How many times did He call you prior to the time
you came to Him? Why did you not accept it then? Why did you ignore it
then? Did you even hear Him calling you? His love for you had opened your

ears and eyes to Him. It is truly the love of Jesus that made it so the scales
fell from your eyes so you could see how Jesus truly is to you.

He loves us so much that we hear His call for our lives, He loves us so much
that He places and allows circumstances to come our way that not only
brings us closer to Him but makes us stronger in our walk with Him.

Have you heard the Lord calling you to Him? Have you heard Him telling
you to give it all up and come to Him to allow Him to love you? If so, then
you have received the greatest gift that He has given us. . . you are no longer
deaf to Him and you can now see His love in your life, so that you can truly
understand what He has done for you by dying on the cross, rising and
having all power in His hands. You are truly loved for He has set you free.

Chapter Three
         The Compassion of Jesus
           Lamentations 2:22-23        22It   is of the LORD's mercies that we
           are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23They are
           new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

           Romans 9:15-16 15For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on
whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have
compassion. 16So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth,
but of God that sheweth mercy.

The compassion of Christ is about the heart of Jesus, the actual outcome of
His love in action. It is more of a cause and effect situation, He loves us and
shows us compassion because He loves us. It is truly the Lord who shows us
the ultimate example of compassion for His people. Throughout the bible,
we see examples of compassion that He has shown us since the beginning
of time, as we know it.

When we look at the word Compassion . . . it represents pity, mercy, and
love as a feeling towards another. As we think about this word, we know
that Jesus had compassion for this world and all of us in it, not just for
some of us, but for all of us. His actions as He walked this earth showed the
compassion that He has for us and even to this day, the compassion that He
has shown us is awesome.

Let us go over a few of His times of compassion and compare to our own
lives for a minute or two. Jesus had compassion for the world, the lost in

sin, for He came to this earth to take on our sins forever. He has shown us
compassion in this manner. When He was a baby, He shown compassion
on His parents for saving them from the evils of the King who sought to kill
Jesus. I am sure if they would have had the chance, Joseph and Mary would
have died too. So God sent an angel to Joseph to warn him to leave to spare
their lives. This is yet compassion on the family of Jesus. God is truly
merciful to us.

The miracles that Jesus performed while He walked this earth are a sign of
compassion and love for His people. It is important to know that the Lord
does all that He does because of His love for us; it is expressed in His
compassion for our lives and situation of life. When He was here on earth,
He did so many things that the word says that the world would be filed with
books.

John 21:25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the
which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world
itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen

Let us look at the different types of miracles that He provided. There are
five basic types of miracles that He performed. He performed miracles
based on cures, exorcisms, nature, and power over death along with
spiritual knowledge. Do we see these things still this day. . . yes we do.

Jesus performed cures to fever, leprosy, issues of blood, (which was a long
term disease), withered hands, dropsy, deafness, blindness, and paralysis.
There was even a mention in the word of Jesus healing someone from a
sickness, but it was never named. Even today, healings are being done in
the name of Jesus. Some healings involve medicine, surgery, but there is

still what we call miraculous healings. There have been people with
unexplainable healings such as cancer being gone when it was clearly seen
in the body. There are still situations such as surgery that is performed and
it has been through that people would not survive. There are people who
suffer heart attacks and strokes that doctors are amazed that they have a
100% recovery. These are just examples of unexplainable healings.

It amazes doctors when I tell them of my history of my body. I have been
blessed to survive three types of cancer that had come my way and yet I am
still here alive to see the outcome. This is the compassion that the Lord has
shown me in my life concerning my illnesses. For the lapse of time that I
had each cancer, the cancer should have spread to several different places
in my body, and still none has ever done so. It has kept to a nice neat area
of the affected area and the cancer was removed without major damage to
my system.

Still today, there are those that are healed with no medical surgery,
medication, or treatment of any kind. We have all heard at one point or
another how someone had some illness and then the next thing, they are
well with no medical explanation.

There are people with tumors that are the size of another person and yet
they are able to have it removed to live normal lives. We have to see that in
all aspects of healings that are given unto us this day. We have to come to
terms with the fact that some illnesses are healed in death. It does not mean
that God failed them, as a survivor of cancer, a survivor of so many things;
that I have learned is that even in death there is victory. Let me explain
more. . .

My mother had Hepatitis C, along with Lupus; her illnesses were attacking
all of her organs except her brain. She was not feeling well and the last time
I spoke to her, she spoke of being tired and ready to go on home to Jesus.
Of course, her only being 20 years older than me at the time, I did not want
to hear that from her, but she was tired. She entered into the hospital one
night in November, 2005 never to walk out of there again. We had her on
machines as she was not brain dead, and we believed that she would come
back to us. She was responding to our conversations to her and around her,
so we knew she could hear us and probably most times wanted to smack us.
I will never forget as I stood by her bedside and told her how much I loved
her and wanted her to get well. I saw a tear drop from her eye and I cried all
the way home that night. As much as we did not get along at times, I loved
her so much and felt so helpless in helping her.

We had to come to terms with her dying as her body just shut down all in a
matter of 24 hours after I asked God to spare my mother in whatever
manner He felt right for her. I told Him that I was ready to let her go if I
had to do so but He was going to have to take her from me as my heart
could not do it. I got a phone call less than 24 hours later telling me to come
to the hospital for she would not make it through the night. Her entire
intestine was mush and the rest of her organs were headed there. They
assured us that they had her on strong drugs and it is believed that she
could feel noc pain. We decided to let them remove the breathing devices
and close family members were there as she took her last breath. She left
this world on November 16, 2005 and is still very much missed by us all, yet
the Lord has given her victory in her death. She is no longer in pain, He has

healed her. He took her so that she could suffer no more, she would not feel
as tired as she was anymore. She is truly free in Jesus.

Now, of course we wanted a healing of her body so she was still with us, but
the Lord knew that she had served her purpose in this life and it was time
for the pain to stop. He healed her by removing her from that life. He
strengthened us to deal with it and to continue on with her story of love and
compassion as we stood that day to remember her at her memorial service.
She was truly blessed by the Lord as her breath slipped away just as
peaceful as the Lord would have it to be. No gasping for air, there was no
big heavy signs, just surrounded by family that loved her and wanted her
pain to end. This was a miracle of healing for her soul and body, as she was
truly ready to move on.

Therefore, we have medical miracles every single day, even in death though
we may not understand it; we must follow what the word of God says in:

Proverbs 3:5-6 5 Trust in the Lord with all thing heart; and lean not
unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he
shall direct thy path.

Look to the Lord in all things, even when you do not understand it, even in
death there is healing.

The next set of miracles that Jesus performed is exorcisms. It is something
how we, as the body of Christ, do not want to deal with this subject most
times. We acknowledge that there is a spiritual warfare going on, yet we do
not learn how to keep ourselves from being taken over by a spirit. Yes, we as
Christians can be taken over by different spirits, even if that is just for a

moment, the spirit of jealousy, lust, selfishness, just to name a few. There
are some who have more than that in themselves. As we read in the word of
God, Jesus was casting demons out of people so that they were free in Him.
There are two stories in the word that we want to talk about in connection
with today's living. The casting out of legion as there were many along with
the spirits knowing if you have the power over them or not. Let us go to the
casting out the demon called legion. The story of casting out of the demons
is mentioned both in Mark Chapter 5 and Luke Chapter 8. These
spirits knew Jesus from a distance as stated in

Mark 5:6-7 6But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped
him, 7And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee,
Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou
torment me not.

It is clear in Mark that these demons knew the power of Jesus over them
and knew what He could do to them. What was interesting is that these
demons worshipped the Lord when they saw Him. Remember every knee
shall bow and ever tongue confesses that Jesus Christ is Lord. Even during
this Jesus showed compassion on these demons as it states in

Luke 8:31-33 31And they besought him that he would not command them
to go out into the deep. 32And there was there an herd of many swine
feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer
them to enter into them. And he suffered them. 33Then went the devils out
of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a
steep place into the lake, and were choked.

Have you ever seen anyone walking around town and they are talking to
themselves, they are in their own little world doing things that are not in
their right mind? Remember this when you see them. . .

Ephesians 6:11-13 11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be
able to stand against the wiles of the devil.12For we wrestle not against
flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the
rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high
places.13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may
be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

This is not to judge those with mental illnesses, but to let us be aware that
we do not wrestle against ourselves, but the spirits within ourselves. The
word lets us know also that everyone is not going to have this power to cast
these demons out without the Lord giving you this power. It takes being in
the word of God and strong in Him to come at those demons such as
mentioned above. Just as they knew Jesus when they saw Him and
worshipped Him, they also know those that try to defeat them and cannot
do so, to those people; they ignore and maybe even posses. As it says in

Acts 19:11-16 11And God wrought special miracles by the hands of
Paul: 12So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or
aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out
of them. 13Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to
call over them which had evil spirits the name of the LORD Jesus, saying,
We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. 14And there were seven
sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. 15And the
evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are

ye? 16And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and
overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that
house naked and wounded.

We have to be aware of the outcome if we are not lined up with the word of
God, walking in His love. He has shown us how to be in Him and the
miracles that we can perform, but He has also shown us what can happen if
we are 'faking it'. In all of that, we see the miracles of the Lord, His
compassion not only on us, but on the demons too.

We are to draw close to the Lord. As mentioned in every single one of my
books I lost my mind one night, I mean truly lost it. I do not know who that
woman was and could truly tell you that I believe I was under the influence
of something that was not me. I felt different, I acted different, and I spoke
different than I have ever done in my life. Was I 'possessed' at that time, not
in the sense that most of us think of being possessed, but there were spirits
acting in me that were not of Jesus and it was in Him that I was able to
overcome.

We truly have to understand, as we do not wrestle against flesh and blood,
the enemy wants to kill us and destroy us, how can he do that, in most
cases, he has to get in our minds and get us thinking outside of our
character in Christ. It states in:

John 10:10-11     10The   thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to
destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it
more abundantly. 11I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his
life for the sheep.

We have to understand what the enemy is coming to do yet remember what
Jesus has done. This is one outcome of His compassion for us. He knows
that the enemy is going to attack our mind possibly 'possess' us to get us to
be outside of the will of God even if it is for a minute or months at a time,
we need to be mindful of the compassion that Jesus has shown us by
empowering us in Him.

Miracles of nature, Jesus performed these types of miracles that had people
in awe of what He did. It was one thing to speak to demons and to heal
people but to command the elements of life too. When reading the word of
God, we see how the Lord was able to do so much while He was here and
then bless us with eth same power in Him to do the same. Praise the Lord
for it.

Some of the miracles of nature is the feeding of the hungry. He took a little
and made a lot .When He fed the men, mind you, the numbers only
represent the men that were there, there were 5,000 men and 4,000 men
that were fed. The 5,000 men who were fed from five loaves and two fishes
and is located in all four gospels (Matthew Chapter 14, Mark Chapter
6, Luke Chapter 9, and John Chapter 6). Jesus fed them yet again,
there were 4,000 men fed on seven loaves and few little fishes. Both times,
there was food left over after everyone had their fill of food. Okay, this is
just so awesome. As we look over the compassion of Jesus, these people
were listening to the word of God and into what He was saying that few had
food with them. They were compelled to hear Him speak. They did not
leave to go get food. Jesus knew He had to feed them and feed them He did.
The feeding of 4,000 men can be found in Matthew 15:32-38.

There is Jesus' first miracle, which was the wine at the wedding, and His
wine was better than the previous wine. He showed compassion for the host
of the wedding to help provide them with being a good host. As we are
today, we do not like to run out of things when we are being hospitable and
Jesus stepped right on in with no hesitation and showed compassion for
this family, by providing for them. This miracle can be found in John
Chapter 2.

We need to remember in both of these miracles are examples of Jesus
showing compassion on us for our physical need of substance. We need to
eat and be replenished for there is strength in the food that we eat. Yes,
man does not live by bread alone as referred to in Matthew 4:4 and Luke
4:4, yet we know we still need that bread to live. Our bodies start to shut
down when we do not eat after a long time. Yet, the Lord continues to
provide, He shows us in our own lives when we are in need that He will
provide what we need. If it is the money to buy the food or someone giving
food to you to help, you make it through until more comes. The Lord
supplies our needs in this manner. He shows us the compassion that He has
for us by providing the things that we need to keep our strength in the
physical body that He created for us.

Along with that, Jesus performed the miracles of catching the fish which is
located in John 21:6, along with a few others but let us touch one more
specific nature miracles, the calming of the storm. This story is in
Matthew 8:23-27. Now this story shows us how when the Lord was on
the boat with the disciples, a bad storm came and the disciples feared for
their lives, yet the Lord showed compassion on their silliness and little faith
and calmed the seas. He knew that the storms were raging, but He also

knew who He was and there was no need to be in fear for anything. Since
the beginning of time, He has calmed the storms in our lives. He is the sea
calmer, yet they had little faith to satisfy their fears, He showed compassion
for them and calmed the sea for them.

Many times, we read the scriptures in Psalms to calm our souls and this is
yet another example of His compassion for us. See how this very passage
can relate to not just our lives now, but during the storm that was
mentioned in Matthew Chapter 8.

Psalm 107:23-30      23They   that go down to the sea in ships, that do
business in great waters; 24These see the works of the LORD, and his
wonders in the deep. 25For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind,
which lifteth up the waves thereof. 26They mount up to the heaven, they go
down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble. 27They
reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wit's
end. 28Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them
out of their distresses. 29He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves
thereof are still.30Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth
them unto their desired haven.

When the storms of life are raging all around us, the Lord is right there with
us bringing the storms to calmness and yet if we are in Him, we will just
ride out the storm knowing that nothing will come to us because He is the
head of our lives.

Jesus performed many miracles, yet there are only four recordings of rising
from the dead that He performed, His own death and resurrection, the son
of the widow, his friend Lazarus, and Jairus' daughter. Jesus death and

resurrection is located in every single gospel. . . Matthew, Mark, Luke, and
John. The rising of the son of the widow is mentioned in Luke 7:11-15,
which states in verse 13, "And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion
on her, and said unto her, Weep not."

The death of Lazarus states that Lazarus was merely sleeping and Jesus
proclaimed that Lazarus was not dead. The story is located in John 11:1-
44. The death of Jairus' daughter is located in Luke 8:41-56. In all cases,
everyone except Jesus was stated to be asleep not dead, He wanted people
to see that death is eternal, that life is eternal, yet none understood while
He walked with them.

So many times we have a love one pass away and we are saddened by their
leaving, yet we should not be saddened when one who was saved has gone
on, because we shall see them yet again, if we live our lives right. He that is
not saved, shall die an eternal death. If you are saved, in your passion you
have eternal life. Jesus has shown us compassion by showing us how we do
not have to die a death of all eternity but when we are no longer here and
waiting for the first resurrection, we will be sleeping in Him, not dead to
Him. It is an example of how His words are even compassionate when He
speaks to us about the things of sorrow in our lives.

There is still one more story of compassion of Jesus and death, though
Jesus was not here on earth, He sent the Holy Spirit which is of Him to
come and comfort us, with this baptism of the Holy Spirit, we have power
over all things in this life. We have the ability to raise the dead if we believe
and have faith that we can. Paul was preaching so long that a young man
fell asleep during the service, with the compassion of Jesus in him, Paul

raised this young man from his sleep, yet this is not by the power of Paul
but the power of Jesus. This is located in Acts 20:9-12. In all of this Jesus
still shows us that we have victory even when we believe that the life is gone
from things, just another reminder that He is the way, the truth, and the
light of this world.

The last miracle type is miracle of spiritual knowledge. We know that God
knows all things, that He is the Alpha and Omega, He has all knowledge,
but we do not have this, this is truly a blessing of the Lord. He has all
knowledge so it is a miracle for us to witness it. He has blessed us to be able
to speak prophesy but that is when He grants us this knowledge. It is solely
based on the will of the Lord on who has this gift. The fact that Jesus knows
the number of hairs on our head is a miracle, He knows all our thoughts
and where we were and going. It is the love of the Lord that makes it so. He
shows us compassion when He speaks to our hearts, and when He sends us
a word from Him. We have to understand that all the Lord is doing for us
on our behalf is all spiritual knowledge in Him.

There are many who will look over the writings of this chapter and say that
it is all by chance or just rubbish, but we can look at things in this day and
see the compassion of Jesus still in things that happen now.

Psalm 86:14-16         14O   God, the proud are risen against me, and the
assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set thee
before them. 15But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and
gracious, long suffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth. 16O turn unto
me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and
save the son of thine handmaid.

Psalm 145:7-9 7They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great
goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness. 8The LORD is gracious, and
full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. 9The LORD is good
to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

There have been some major catastrophes here in United States, such as
September 11th and Hurricane Katrina and even more recently Hurricane
Ike, yet through it all Jesus was with us and showed His compassion for the
human race. Most people question why these bad things happen by blaming
them on God, when in essences we need to blame them on man, not God.
Just as we choose to serve the Lord or not serve Him, He allows us to
determine what happens in society as a whole. He does not want us to be
like robots but to serve Him in spirit and in truth.

John 4:24 God is a Spirit; and they that worship him must worship him
in spirit and in truth.

There are many who do not hear the Lord calling them, they have yet to
accept the greatest act of love that He has for us, so in doing so, what
happens, sin still runs rampant. For example, the grievances that the
terrorist had against the United States caused them to plot against us using
our own resources against us. This is nothing but sin, why did some die and
others did not, for the Lord had compassion and prevented for all to perish.

Whereas Hurricane Katrina and Ike is also a man made problem, we are
doing things to this earth that was not intended to happen to it, by taking
resources and depleting resources that is not meant to be done. Such as the
air we have by pollution, destroying the protection that we have with ozone,
going out into outer space repeatedly, this has all changed the way the

weather happens. We as humans and our greed (a sin) have changed what
this plant was meant to be. Our hatred (a sin) for someone who is different,
and the power that we want (a sin) have caused so many catastrophes here
whether it is wars, rumors of wars, change in the weather that causes
deaths, it is all done by the actions of man. Jesus shows His compassion for
us by sparing those that He feels are needed to be spared.

It is also another way to see His glory shine through. We are the cause of
the mess of this world, since the beginning of time. During all of this time
Jesus has shown His compassion for His people and for those that have yet
to come to Him. We still have to remember that we have to work on our
fellowship/relationship with Him, have faith in Him, and remember that
He does have guidelines that we must follow to be complete in Him. Praise
the Lord for His compassion and may we always walk with Him for all
eternity. Let us discuss how to do this in the next chapter, The Fellowship

                         Chapter Four
        The Fellowship with Jesus
           John 15:4-7 4Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot
           bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye,
           except ye abide in me. 5I am the vine, ye are the branches: He
           that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much
           fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6If a man abide not in
me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them,
and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 7If ye abide in me, and
my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto
you.

The meaning of fellowship . . . by the Easton's Bible Dictionary definition it
is explained as:

   1. With God, consisting in the knowledge of His will (Job 22:21; John
       17:3); agreement with His designs (Amos 3:2); mutual affection
       (Romans 8:38-39); enjoyment of His presence (Psalm 4:6);
       conformity to His image (I John 2:6; 1:6); participation of His
       felicity (I John 1:3-4; Ephesians 3:14-21).
   2. Of saints with one another, in duties (Romans 12:5; I Corinthians
       12:1; I Thessalonians 5:17-18); in ordinances (Hebrew 10:25;
       Acts 2:46); in grace, love, joy, etc. (Malachi 3:16; II Corinthians
       13:16); in sufferings (Romans 15:1-2; Galatians 6:1-3; Romans
       12:15) and in glory (Revelation 7:9).

Webster Dictionary states fellowship as the condition of sharing similar
interests, ideals, or experiences, as by reason of profession, religion, or
nationality. Fellowship is the companionship of individuals in a congenial
atmosphere and on equal terms. It is a close association of friends or equals
sharing similar interests. Friends; comradeship.

Often times the Fellowship of Jesus is mistaken to be in reference of
reading our bible and praying, though those things are truly 100% essential
to knowing Jesus, they are not the only things that we should do to have
fellowship with Jesus.

We are quick to misjudge our own thoughts and the direction of the Lord
and in this case, He has blessed us with fellowship with each other. In this
fellowship with each other, we will see that our walk with the Lord is
strengthened. We are to call on each other and be supportive of our fellow
sisters and brothers in Christ.

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another,
that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man
availeth much.

In confession of our faults, we are able to free ourselves from the lies, sins,
doubts and those things that hold us back from having a better fellowship
with Christ. We have a tendency when "Confessing" to ourselves things, not
bearing all truths, but the more we practice James 5:16 and it is met with
the love of Jesus Christ, the more willing we are to do so. It is imperative to
our very being to be a sister or brother in Christ that is able to not just
confess our faults, but able to take the confession from others and have it
remain within us and not give out to others.

It says in Romans 12:15-16 and Romans 12:4-5 very clearly how we are
to be with our fellow sisters and brothers in Christ.

Romans 12:15-16       15Rejoice   with them that do rejoice, and weep with
them that weep.16Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high
things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own
conceits.

Romans 12:4-5 4For as we have many members in one body, and all
members have not the same office: 5So we, being many, are one body in
Christ, and every one members one of another.

The ultimate scripture to all of this is;

John 13:34-35 34A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one
another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. 35By this shall
all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

This brings us right back to the scriptures for this chapter, John 15:4-7.
Throughout these scriptures, Jesus is telling us to abide in Him, to have
fellowship with Him, to be likeminded with Him, for if we do not do so - we
are cast away from him.

His parable of the vine and branches gives to us the simplest explanation of
what happens when we do not abide/fellowship with Him. It states in
verse 6 of John Chapter 15:

If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and
men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

We get a clear picture what will happen if we do not abide in Jesus, if our
fellowship in this life is not in Him. We shall be cast into the pits of hell
with satan himself. We will not be subjected to punishment from satan, but
we will be eternally separated from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in a
sea of fire and brimstone, in eternal pain. As painful, scary, and unpleasant
that sounds, many will meet this fate, but we are given an opportunity to
build our fellowship with Jesus and to keep Him ever before us in all that
we do.

We can see one importance of building our fellowship with Jesus, but He
has blessed us to not do it alone. He has made us a part of a special family,
a special body with Christ. We are His children and in our fellowship with
Him, we are blessed with fellowship with likeminded sisters and brothers in
Christ. These are other believers of Jesus, who may not always share the
same doctrine, we share the same Savior and in this He will work all the
rest out.

Our fellowship with Jesus is imperative and so is our fellowship with each
other. God does not speak as He used to speak to Moses and those of Old
Testament times. Remember the mountains would 'roar' when His
presence was in them. Moses himself, was blessed to see God's back parts
(Exodus 33:18-23), but no one has sat and talked with God face to face.
yet God will send His people to others to minister unto them with a word
from the Lord.

This is not to be mistaken for fortune telling claiming to be from the Lord.
This is another reason why we need to have fellowship with Jesus so that

we will know His voice, and will enable us to know when He has sent a
word to us or when it is not Him.

Have you ever been going through something and someone encourages
your spirit by something that they said but yet they have no idea what you
are going through, this is building your fellowship with Jesus.

Have you ever been going about your day and a song of praise or a scripture
comes to you that will not leave? This is considered building your
fellowship with Jesus.

Have you ever read a passage and got one meaning one time and the next
time you read it, there is a new meaning to you? This is building your
fellowship with Jesus.

We make having fellowship with Jesus harder than it really is; all we have
to do is desire to know Him more. In desiring to know more of Jesus, we
will be led by the Holy Spirit to do what is necessary to build a better
fellowship with Jesus.

As we are striving to build our fellowship, our faith in the Lord will grow
stronger and in this we will come to see the full measure of His direction
and love for us.

Chapter Five
                  The Faith of Jesus
               I Corinthians 1:9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called
              unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

              In all things God is with us, and He is forever faithful to us. It
              is the faithfulness of the Lord that has kept us even during our
rebellion in life. As humans, we have been in rebellion against the Lord
since the day of Adam and Eve. We came into the knowledge of good and
evil, and have chosen to follow our flesh and not the Spirit of the Lord, yet
during all this time of our rebellion, Jesus has been faithful to us.

We are still able to live the life that we choose to live, whether for Him or
for ourselves for living for ourselves ends in destruction and eternal death.
Yet in all of this, the Lord is faithful to His word.

Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth; it
shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please,
and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

The word of the Lord is strong; He is faithful unto His word. The word of
the Lord goes forth and returns back to Him not voided but completed in
what He meant for it to do.

Jesus was faithful from the beginning of time, since the consumption of this
earth, He has made sure that His word has not only gone forth but does
what He says it will do.

As we read the word of the Lord, God has shown that when we follow His
word, He is faithful to His word. The Israelites are a prime example of this,
when Israel was living according to the Lord, He blessed that nation as He
said but when they would go astray after other gods and kings, the Lord
allowed them to be in bondage and pain, yet when they called out to Him,
He delivered them.

It is clear in the word that His deliverance was always there for them, yet it
was the Israelites choice on whether or not to obey. God was faithful to His
word then and now.

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Throughout the word of God, He has shown His faithfulness to His people
despite our choices. An excellent example of God's faithfulness is Abraham,
Abraham is known as a man of faith, faith for leaving His family's home and
headed to an unknown land that the Lord promised him and his
descendants. Even during his doubting moments of the protection of the
Lord, when he told the kings not once but twice how Sarai/Sarah was not
his wife but his sister, the Lord protected him. These kings could have
rightfully imprisoned Abraham or even killed him, but the protection of the
Lord prevailed. He even gained from it as the kings gave him money and
treasures to leave their lands.

We are always saying how faithful Abraham was, but God was still more
faithful to Abraham. Abraham was no longer alive when his family grew to
be the number of the stars as the Lord spoke to Abraham. After Abraham
had died, the Lord still kept His promise to Abraham and his family became
a nation.

We see examples of this throughout the word of the Lord with the men and
women of the bible. Yet when it comes to our lives, we question the Lord,
we wonder if He is going to be faithful to His word and keep us during the
times of need, the times of joy and basically just in life all together.

Jesus said that if we have the faith as a grain of mustard seed, nothing shall
be impossible unto us. He is faithful to His word; He keeps His word in all
that He does.

Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief; for
verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall
say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall
remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Even during the times when we are weak and finding it hard to overcome
our weakness, the Lord has us in mind and His word will come forth and
move things according to the way that He says it will be.

The Lord spoke to the father of the boy whom was dumb and possessed by
devils that if he believed, anything was possible, and the response of the
father was he did believe but he needed help to overcome his unbelief.

Mark 9:23-24 (KJV)        23Jesus   said unto him, If thou canst believe, all
things are possible to him that believeth. 24And straightway the father of
the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine
unbelief.

Mark 9:23-24 (NIV)       23"   'If you can'?" said Jesus. "Everything is
possible for him who believes." 24Immediately the boy's father exclaimed,
"I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!"

A personal example that I have of this is how I used to be so concerned
about my finances, I was new in the Lord and was not sure how to deal with
things. I knew to pray but the trust and faith was far away. I was in need of
money and was waiting for a check to come so that I could do what I needed
to do, and I was frazzled, just completely frazzled. I was crying and yelling
and just so angry that I was having such a hard time. The Lord released the
money when I truly needed it, and I was relieved and thankful. It was in
that lesson and a few more that came with the finances, that I saw that God
was faithful in His word. He provided for me and He kept me, now I just
needed to believe and have faith for He has done it before, He will always
continue to do so.

James 1:2-4 (KJV) 2My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into
divers temptations; 3Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh
patience. 4But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect
and entire, wanting nothing.

James 1:2-4 (NIV) 2Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you
face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith
develops perseverance. 4Perseverance must finish its work so that you
may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

Romans 5:2-4 2By whom also we have access by faith into this grace
wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3And not only

so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh
patience; 4And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

He is faithful during our trials/temptations, for He is molding us to be more
like Him and to be complete in this life. It is truly the love and faithfulness
of the Lord to us. In His faithfulness to us, He is making us into better
Christians and giving us a better life enabling us to withstand the tests of
time and to live life eternally with Him.

So as you are going through this life and things are happening to you,
remember this in all that you go through. . .

I Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is
common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted
above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to
escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

When we live for Jesus and fight the temptation, life is better. Remember
this. . .

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal
life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Let us move forward to the unpleasant part of Christianity, the part that we
just really do not like to deal with, the wrath of the Lord.

                          Chapter Six
                The Wrath of Jesus
         Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is
         eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

         Praise the Lord, the word is true and complete. It is given unto us
         so that we will have life and have life abundantly for all eternity,
         yet if we choose to ignore it, the wrath of Jesus will come to us in
the end of all things.

Many times we allow ourselves to just think of the side of the Lord that is
compassionate and loving, because it is the easiest part to deal with, but yet
we know there is a wrath of the Lord when we read the word, and it is not
only in the Old Testament.

The wrath of the Lord is for those that are not living for the Lord, so you
will only feel His wrath if you deny Him and not pick up the cross and live
for Him. Those that deny the Lord, by outright denial by living solely for
self or even those that say they know Jesus but choose to live a life full of
sin are going to feel the wrath of the Lord.

As many of us know, the Lord showed many ways of His wrath in the Old
Testament. He loves His people and will correct them, those that willfully
disobey the Lord, felt His wrath. Adam and Eve were sent out of the Garden
of Eden that started the life of hardship. Cain was sent from the presence of
the Lord to wander the earth. The Israelites suffered the most from the
wrath of the Lord, when they would not listen as lives were lost and many

times they were in bondage to other nations. A great nation such as Israel
was and still is suffering from their lack of belief in the Lord.

When we read the word of the Lord, there are many things that show how
He can and will deal with His people. The most common that people speak
about is the flood in the days of Noah. The world was full of sin and only
one was righteous before Him. When you read the book of Revelation and
the words of the New Testament, you will see that God is not playing with
the people of this world, time is winding down and it is up to us to get right
before the Lord - not tomorrow but right now today in Jesus.

The book of Revelation, Daniel and Ezekiel tells us of what is to come and
how things are going to go when the complete wrath of the Lord is dealt
with. There will be plagues unlike any other plagues we have ever seen as
each seal of the seven seals are broken and the vials are let loose on those
that are not followers of Christ.

This is still not the ultimate wrath of the Lord; eternal separation from the
Lord by living apart from Him for all eternity is the final wrath of the Lord.
Many people walk around believing that Hades and Hell do not exists.
Some even believe that satan rules hell and there are even people who give
the word of the Lord stating that satan will torture us in hell, yet that is not
true.

Jesus is very clear about hell and what it was made for in Matthew
Chapter 25, verses 41, and He is clear about who will go there along with
satan and his angels.

Matthew 25:41, 45-46 41Then shall he say also unto them on the left
hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the
devil and his angels:

45Then   shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as
ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46And these
shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life
eternal.

It is clear in the word of the Lord - what is going to happen and come about
to those that are not following His instruction, yet the word is clear here
that those that do not do as He instructs will go away into everlasting
punishment BUT the righteous into life eternal. It is clear that death is
separation from the Lord and life is eternal life with Him.

We are finding that people believe that satan is the one punishing us but in
the end it is Jesus who will be sending the judgment down upon those that
are none believers.

The word of the Lord says. . .

Jude 1:14-19 14And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of
these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his
saints, 15To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are
ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly
committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have
spoken against him. 16These are murmurers, complainers, walking after
their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having
men's persons in admiration because of advantage. 17But, beloved,

remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our
Lord Jesus Christ;18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the
last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. 19These be they
who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

Revelation 20:12-15 12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before
God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is
the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were
written in the books, according to their works. 13And the sea gave up the
dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which
were in them: and they were judged every man according to their
works. 14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the
second death. 15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life
was cast into the lake of fire.

Now after reading that, some of you might be thinking, “but who are these
people that are not going to be with the Lord and spend eternity in hell with
satan?” The deceivers, are angels that followed satan. . . read the word
below:

I Corinthians 6:8-10 8Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your
brethren. 9Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom
of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers,
nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10Nor thieves,
nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit
the kingdom of God.

Galatians 5:19-21     19Now   the works of the flesh are manifest, which are
these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20Idolatry,

witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions,
heresies, 21Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of
the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they
which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Let us go over these things to get a better understanding of the word, and
what it is really saying we need to not be a part of.

Fornicators - illicit sexual intercourse of the unmarried

Idolaters - turning away from God to worship other things, such as
demons, other gods, things, people whether openly or secretly, consciously
or unconsciously

Adulterers - intercourse with the spouse of another , cultivating
friendships with the world, thus breaking your spiritual union with Christ -
this is called spiritual adultery as you were spiritually united to Him as wife
to husband.

Effeminate - having feminine qualities untypical of a man: not manly in
appearance or manner.

Abusers of themselves with mankind - this is believed to be
homosexuals and those that are 'unnatural' sex, which depending on
jurisdiction can consist of oral sex or anal sex or any non-genital to genital
congress, whether heterosexual, or homosexual, or with human or animal

Thieves - self-explanatory - someone who steals and won't stop

Covetous - speaking of someone who is eager to have more in the sense to
have what belongs to others; hence greedy of gain, which also includes
money, positions, possessions and people

Drunkards - basically an alcoholic or being intoxicated

Revilers - to assail with abusive language

Extortioners - those that use extortion

Uncleanness - this is sexual uncleanness (by most definitions)

Lasciviousness - this is sexual excess

Witchcraft - this is not just witches and sorcery, but this also includes all
the occult things such as horoscopes, tarot readings, and palm readings

Hatred - Self explanatory -hating

Variance - this is speaking of strife, and discord

Emulations - this is speaking of jealousy

Wrath - self explanatory - uncontrolled anger

Strife - this is speaking of self-ambition

Seditions - disagreement which leads to division

Heresies - this is speaking of permanent organized divisions. cliques and
as much as people do not like to hear this - it includes ALL secret societies

such as fraternities and sororities, also all those types of organizations in
religion/churches

Envyings - when we are envying others or coveting

Murders - self explanatory - but this is just not physical, spiritually,
emotionally, and mentally murders

Drunkenness - over excessive drinking, and being intoxicated

Revellings - excess - including gluttony and carousing

Now if you are currently in any of these lifestyles, you still have time to
come out of them and live for Jesus, yet if you choose not to come out of
these things, then you will find that you will feel the wrath of Jesus.

It is not a time to sit back and just enjoy life in our sins for it is clear by the
word of the Lord, that there is going to come a time when we must answer
for our decisions in this life.

It is in living for Jesus - you will find the true meaning behind the
Completion in Jesus.

Chapter Seven
         The Completion in Jesus
           John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill,
           and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that
           they might have it more abundantly.

           John 10:27-29 27My sheep hear my voice, and I know them,
and they follow me: 28And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall
never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29My
Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to
pluck them out of my Father's hand.

So many people are looking for completion in their lives, they come to Jesus
and do not understand what they should do to have completion. Yet, the joy
of knowing that you are one of His children should be completion enough
for us, just knowing that we are going to spend eternity with Him should
bring us the feeling of completion, yet many still do not feel complete in
Him.

Here are some things that bring completion in Jesus, after accepting Jesus
as our personal savior...

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that
cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them
that diligently seek him.

Faith - faith is essential to feeling complete in the Lord, without faith you
cannot even please the Lord, let alone feel complete. Faith is what keeps us

going, motivated, and looking to the Lord. Faith is believing His word,
trusting His word, and knowing that praying to Him, reading His word and
truly looking to the Lord for direction will bring you to a place of
completion in the Lord.

It is in our faith that keeps us in the Lord, and believing that He can do
anything. It is our faith that believes His word when things look like
nothing is going to come together. It is faith that brings us back to His word
reminding us...

Luke 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.

Matthew 17:20-21 20And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief:
for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye
shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall
remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. 21Howbeit this kind
goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

This leads us to the next thing to completion in Jesus. It is fasting and
prayer. It should be our mindset to be one who fasts and prayers regularly.
In our prayers, we are to be talking to the Lord and giving unto Him praise,
love, seeking HIS direction, interceding on the behalf of others, along with
taking our own requests to the Lord.

It is in our prayer life, that we will even see our true heart in the Lord, for
part of our prayer time is to be spent in silence hearing from the Lord as He
speaks to our hearts. It is our prayer life that lets us know where our true
heart is by how we respond to His direction, His correction, His words and

His love. It is a blessing to have a prayer life for this is one of your
communications from the Lord.

Prayer without fasting is truly not the completeness of your life in Jesus. In
fasting, we give up things for the Lord, showing that we can deny our flesh
to hear from Him. We do not fast so we can get stuff, we fast so that we can
hear more clearly from the Lord. This is something that should not be
missed in our life in Jesus. It brings completeness in Jesus.

2 Timothy 2:15-16 15Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a
workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of
truth. 16But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto
more ungodliness.

Study of the word of the Lord, in other words, reading and studying the
bible is essential to having completeness in Jesus. It is important to
remember that you have all you need in the word of the Lord. It is
important also that you receive direction in the word of the Lord. It is one
way to know you are in the will of the Lord, for if you are in His will, there
will not be scripture to contradict what you are doing, plan on doing or
already did.

It is important to not only study the word of the Lord, but to know that it is
true.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is
profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in
righteousness:

We have to not just know the word of the Lord, such as being able to recite
it, preach it and give out to others, but the most important part is to believe
it for yourself and live it.

It is so important that we know that Jesus' words, the word of the bible are
true for our own life. It is important that we look inside of the word and
apply it to our very lives, even though there are times when we do not want
to apply the word to our lives.

One of the scriptures that I personally have to fight to keep

Philippians 2:14-15 (KJV) 14Do all things without murmurings and
disputings: 15That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God,
without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among
whom ye shine as lights in the world;

Philippians 2:13-14 (NLT)13For God is working in you, giving you the
desire and the power to do what pleases him.14 Do everything without
complaining and arguing, 15 so that no one can criticize you. Live clean,
innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full
of crooked and perverse people.

I know many of us have 'issues' with this word, because it is the hard not to
complain or have disputes. The thing about it to me was not only do we not
complain about something which includes venting, but we do not argue. So
this means to those of us that bicker with our husbands, we are out of line
by the word of the Lord. It is not easy to really remember this to me, but I
know the word of the Lord, so I know that I will be able to one day get
there, because I have faith and I believe the word of the Lord for myself.

One that should come natural to all Christians but it is not, is attendance of
church for it brings us to completion in Jesus. There are many who believe
in Jesus but do not attend church, they rely on the message via the radio, or
the television but forgetting the importance of the body of Christ coming
together in fellowship, which in this age of life is attending church services,
and different activities given in the church.

Many have turned their back on the church because of the corruption, the
mistrust and even the mistruth being spoken but that is nothing but the
enemy to keep us from fellowship, which strengthens our walk in the Lord.

Most times when I speak to a sister or brother in Christ who are having a lot
of struggles in their lives, they have not been to church services in a long
time, for at least in a month or more. To me missing two services is a long
time as the Jesus in me depends on the fellowship with likeminded
believers. When I was sick and missed two Sunday services, I felt it in my
very being. I felt a little detached and needing to be among other praise and
worshippers of Jesus.

Many stay home and struggle, always wondering why things are the way
they are for they are missing a step in their walk with the Lord. We have to
remember what the word of the Lord says about fellowship...

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have
fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son
cleanseth us from all sin.

Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my
name, there am I in the midst of them.

Hebrews 10:24-26 24And let us consider one another to provoke unto
love and to good works:25Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves
together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so
much the more, as ye see the day approaching.26For if we sin wilfully after
that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more
sacrifice for sins,

44And   all that believed were together, and had all things common; 45And
sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every
man had need. 46And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple,
and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness
and singleness of heart, 47Praising God, and having favour with all the
people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

It is clear that the Lord wants us to fellowship for many reasons, but one
reason is clear - we are one body and how can we be one body in the Lord if
we do not fellowship with each other and be on one accord. There are still
more things that help us to be complete in Jesus.

One of the other ways is to focus on Jesus to be living truly for Christ. We
cannot be complete in the Lord when we are not focusing on His direction
and His way for our lives.

When we focus on the ways of the Lord and how He directs us, we will have
a better walk in this life. I am not talking about the material side of things
although I do believe that He does this also, but we will be able to walk in
the Lord with the full armour of God and be ready for all those things that
come at us.

We cannot do what the word says in Ephesians 6:11-17 if we do not know
the Lord and truly walking in Him and living by His word and direction.

Ephesians 6:11-17 11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able
to stand against the wiles of the devil.12For we wrestle not against flesh
and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of
the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13Wherefore   take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able
to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14Stand
therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the
breastplate of righteousness; 15And your feet shod with the preparation of
the gospel of peace; 16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye
shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17And take the
helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

If we do not walk in the Lord, how can we walk in His spirit and by His
spirit, it keeps us from doing things that we should not. If we do not walk
and live in Jesus, how are we able to be complete in Him? He is to be our
direction and our thoughts should be on Jesus.

Proverbs 3:5-7 5Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not
unto thine own understanding. 6In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he
shall direct thy paths. 7Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and
depart from evil.

Matthew 6:31-34 31Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we
eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32(For
after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father
knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33But seek ye first the
kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added
unto you. 34Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow
shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil
thereof.

These scriptures are so essential to our walk in the Lord, to truly be
complete in Jesus. It is important to follow Him and not ourselves, which
means to deny ourselves and take up our cross to live in Jesus.

Finally, completion is to be with Jesus at the end of this life. We are aware
that Jesus will return. He is to come back for His people and in this we will
reign with Him for all eternity, this is the final act of completion of Jesus.
We will not have this completion until His return but just the thought of it
should spark us to continue on in this walk and to seek Him in everything
we do.

This is the way our lives are to be lived, we are to live our lives in Jesus, and
on that note - onward to the last and final chapter...The Closing....

  • 5. Chapter One - As I Begin As I begin another book, the thoughts crossed my mind about what this book should be about. There is so much inside of me that is waiting to come out and yet not sure which should come first, the growth or the longing for more growth. So what I decided to do is start with the praise and I will allow the rest to follow, for the direction of the Lord is always what we want in our lives in every aspect of our life. It is truly the blessings of the Lord that we are always striving for and yes, we shall discuss that later too. Let me start with my praise as I have to start with praise in the Lord. God is truly blessing me in the manner of growth. In writing the three previous books, the Lord has shown me sides of myself that I did not know existed. I have to give Him all honor and glory for my very life. In case you have not read The Truth of Alissa Lynne I, which is my life story and funny as it may seem, it is still a shorten version of my life story. Praise God for the growth in Him. My Life Testimony: Praise the Lord, God is truly awesome and wonderful. He has blessed me so and I would like to share what He has done for me in my life. For the Lord is with us always, even when we do not know Him, He knows us. At the age of six months old, I was sick with the Asian flu, at the time there was a strain going around that was ending the lives of infants and senior citizens. My mother took me to the doctors the doctor pretty much said to give the medication for that is all they could do. My mom took me 5|Page
  • 6. The Truth of Alissa Lynne III - As I Understand It home, and said she watched life leave me, I was limp and was shallow breathing. She told me that she rubbed me with rubbing alcohol and prayed over me. She said she placed her child on the altar of God and committed my life to Him. An hour later I was bouncing up and down on her leg and showed no signs of having any illness. At the age of 8 years old, I was lying in my bed and felt some one shake me. I woke up to a room full of smoke and no one was there. I told my mom, and as we all left the house, my bedroom blew up. The room was destroyed but I was not there! To this day, I know I was touched by God! AMEN! At the age of 17 years old, colon cancer attacked me. The Lord blessed me to overcome this disease. At the age of 25 years old, thyroid cancer came at me and the Lord blessed me to overcome that illness. At the age of 33 years old, I had cancer in my uterus, and yet again God blessed me to still be here. At the age of 38 years old, I was diagnosed with Lupus, and though from time to time, I have flare ups, my organs have not been damaged, and I know that I am healed in the name of Jesus. At the age of 42 years old, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, and have overcome with doctor's direction and medication. From the age of 6 years old until I was 17 years old, I was molested by my step father and grew up in fear that my family would perish if I told anyone. My relationship with my mother were gravely strained and when I 6|Page
  • 7. was able to move out, I did! I started a life of hanging out, drinking, sleeping around, experimenting with drugs and really not caring about my life. I got married twice to two men who were abusive to me in more ways than one. I was at the lowest point ever in my life that I had ever been for I was a walking zombie. I wanted to die and after years of trying to kill myself and spending time with therapists and hospitals, nothing was working. My 2nd husband of 8 years left me for another woman leaving me with my son to parent alone. I was devastated and hurting beyond belief. I knew I had to go to church and it was what I needed. I walked in the doors and felt better. I joined the church and was baptized on July 24, 2005. The enemy attacked me as I was not reading the word of God as I should and surely was not praying as I should. I was half way doing what I had to do. The day my life was changed when I decided I was going to take matters into my own hands; I jumped in my van and banged on the door of my estranged husband with the thought of killing him, his girlfriend and myself. As I was banging on the door, begging them to come out, a voice screamed in my head - He said, "Go Home!" I felt so different and for one moment there was peace that came over me. I got in my van and I have no idea how I got home. I was crying and could not stop. I called my aunt, and poured it out in tears, talking in words that were not detectable to anyone, as the tears flowed beyond comprehension as the words were coming out of my mouth. When I was finally able to talk and got off the phone, I cried it all out to the Lord and when I was done crying, I looked in the mirror and saw what God 7|Page
  • 8. The Truth of Alissa Lynne III - As I Understand It saw. I saw that I had to see me as He saw me. I knew it was the beginning of a new life in Jesus and for the first time in my life, after hearing Him speak to me to love Him with all my heart and trust in Him, I started talking to the Lord more, I started hearing His words to me and I was blessed to be filled with His Holy Spirit in speaking in tongues on March 2, 2007. My life has not been the same since! I am a blessed woman and sometimes I wonder why He loves me so, yet you know what, He loves me so much that He blesses me every day with new grace and mercy! He sent a man of God into my life who has loved me through the pains and hurt of my past life. Jesus showed me real love in my husband. He has shown me that He can be all that we need and when we are in Him we can live life abundantly. He has set me on a new path and a new walk in Him. I have never been this happy in my life. Sure things happen and pains come but the Lord heals me in all that I go through as long as I go to the Lord and I give it all to Jesus. He has laid a path before me that is awesome because the path is in Him. He has healed me in all aspects of life. I have been healed in my body, my mind, and my very spirit and soul! God is just so awesome, just spending time with the Lord can change your life for all eternity. I am standing in His word and I know that He will keep me! May you continue to stand in the Lord and know that He can deliver you from any situation that you find yourself in. He will bring you out of the mess that the world has dealt you and even the mess that we ourselves create! God is awesome and I am blessed in Him. 8|Page
  • 9. John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Praise the Lord for what the enemy meant to destroy, the Lord has meant for His glory. Often times we look at Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose", and do not understand that even the bad things that are allowed to happen to us work for our good. In all that I went through in my life, it was a testimony not just to the world but to me about how awesome the Lord is. My life strengthened my walk in Him, my faith in Him. For He has brought me through so much before I knew Him, why should I doubt that He would bring me through things now in my life, now that I not only know Him but live for Him. It is truly the Lord who blesses us in all that we do. I praise the Lord for all that He has done in my life, all that He is doing in my life and all that is still to come in my life. If it had not been for His grace and mercy, I would be lost for all eternity. As I think of the things that God has promised us as His children, we are truly a blessed generation. We are loved by the Lord and in Him we are truly blessed, nothing we have done is why He loves us, it is in Him that we get our strength to move forward. There is nothing that we have done or can do to cause Him to love us, it is truly the love of the Lord that binds us together. It is the love of the Lord that keeps us. . . onward to Chapter Two - The Love of Jesus. 9|Page

The Truth of Alissa Lynne III - As I Understand It Chapter Two The Love of Jesus John 1:1-5 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.2The same was in the beginning with God.3All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. 4In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. John 3:14-17 14And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. In all my reading and research of the word for me John 1:1-5 tells us who Jesus really is and John 3:14-17 tells us what love really is. When we are faced with so many issues in our lives, sometimes we just do not take the time to understand that God is truly moving and doing what is necessary because He loves us. He keeps us in the safety of His arms and really brings us to the point of understanding His love if we allow Him. The love of Jesus is truly an awesome thing to think about. When we take the time to really mediate and get rid of the things that are blocking our minds to be free in Jesus, we are able to truly hear from Him and know His love. It is in His love that we get strength to continue to press on even when 10 | P a g e
  • 11. we are ready in the flesh to give up. We are more than that in Christ. We have to understand that His love is truly a blessing to us for He did not have to love us. Remember God destroyed the earth once before and if He chose to do it again, He could do so. What stops Him from doing so; it is His love for us that keeps Him from destroying us. When we look at the love of the Lord, we need to realize what the Word says first, He was here in the beginning of life itself. So when the world was being formed, He was here. The Word says that in John Chapter One, and to back it up, in Genesis the Word says. . . Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Notice the reference to "we". . . I believe that it is so we know that Jesus is God. He was there! And still, the love begins when He formed the earth. The love for His children began and He blessed us with a place to live in the forming of the earth, adding light to darkness, and calling it Day and Night. He loved us when He created the Heaven and divided the waters. He loved us when He created dry land, seas, trees, grass, and the plant life that we enjoy so much. He loved us when He created the stars, sun, and the moon so that we would have light and seasons. He loved us when He made all the animals, those on the land, those in the air, and those in the waters. He loved us when He directed them all to be fruitful and multiply. 11 | P a g e
  • 12. The Truth of Alissa Lynne III - As I Understand It His love was not finished for on the sixth day, He loved us so much, He made us in His image. We were created in His likeness, no one else but His likeness. He made Adam first, and He knew that man should not be alone, He made Eve, his helpmeet. He gave us dominion over the entire world, the entire earth and all things in this earth. He loved us so much; He put us in charge. Remember what He told Adam and Eve in Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moved upon the earth. It is truly a blessing from the Lord to have the kind of control over the earth that He has given us. Truly a shame to see what we are doing to it, but that is because of the fall of man. Even in the fall of man, He loved us. We fell from this wonderful place the Lord created for us, the Garden of Eden. Yes, we were not there, but we are Adam and Eve too. We fell from the Lord's way for us by being disobedient to Him. The entire Chapter of Genesis Three shows how we fall from Him by allowing ourselves to be deceived, but there is one factor we have to look at first. The Lord gave us a mind to think and also free will before eating of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Adam and Eve were walking with the Lord and talking with the Lord. They had a beautiful life and could have chosen to keep it that way. The love of the Lord gave them a taste of how life can be, but He knew He had to allow them to serve Him willingly and not selfishly. The serpent was permitted to come and tempt. The serpent was permitted because the 12 | P a g e
  • 13. Lord wanted us to serve because we 'wanted' to serve Him, not because we did not have any other way to live. He loved us so much, He gave us choice! Eve did not choose the way of the Lord and Adam followed right after her. However, the Lord loves us. He loves us so much that He did not kill Adam and Eve. He let them live and He promised the coming of Jesus. Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. He knew when we fell, that we were going to need a Savior, He loved us even then. He had us leave Paradise with a promise to return, that is love. Time moves on and man becomes wicked and yet, He did not kill us. He saved a man and his family who according to the word of God found grace with God. Genesis 6:6-8 6And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. 8But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. Yes, we grieved God to the point of wanting to kill us all, and of all those people who were walking this earth at that time, only one family found grace, Noah's family. He spared that family from certain death, now that is love. 13 | P a g e

Man did a lot of foolish things such as the Tower of Babel trying to build to the sky to reach heaven. The Lord still blessed His people, those that were determined to serve the Lord. Abraham was born Abram and he was a man who walked and talked with the Lord. Despite the fact that Abraham lied on several occasions trying to spare his own life, and took some matters into his own hand without consulting God first, the Lord blessed Abraham. He blessed him to prosper as Abraham was a rich man whose house served the Lord. He had a beautiful wife, and was blessed with a beautiful son in his old age. We all know that story of Abraham that is told in Genesis Chapter 11:26 to Genesis Chapter 23, where the story of Isaac starts. Abraham was a man who was tested by God and he obeyed God. He loved the Lord so much that he was to sacrifice his son to the Lord, and God loved him so, that He stopped him from doing it. Abraham pleaded for the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah for the righteous souls in those cities and though there were not any righteous in those cities, the Lord saved his nephew and family from certain death. This is yet God's love. God made a covenant with Abraham that his seed would be more than stars in the heavens. (Genesis 15:4-6 and Genesis 22:16-18). This is still the love of God, as we look at the lineage of Abraham. Out of his loins rose a huge nation, the twelve tribes of Israel were born of his son's children (Abraham, Isaac, Jacob = twelve tribes of Israel). He kept His covenant with Abraham and He had the family grow. The family was saved on many occasions from certain death as they were making mistakes in their lives. The Lord protected them, even Joseph when he was in the land of Egypt. The Lord raised Joseph, a Hebrew to answer to be second in command of 14 | P a g e
  • 15. Egypt with only answering to Pharaoh himself (Genesis 41:39-46). Yet in doing so, the Lord saved the family yet again, this is the love of Jesus. The Lord spoke of the ruling over Abraham's family to be afflicted for four hundred years, pre warning them of things to come (Genesis 15:12-14). This is love of the Lord. He did not have to tell Abraham a word of what was to come or how long they would serve in affliction, but the Lord did. This is love. He sent them a man to guide them out of their bondage; this is the love of the Lord. He had to make him special first. Moses was a special child, who found favor in the eyes of the Pharaoh's daughter after a proclamation went out that all Hebrew males were to be killed at birth (Exodus 1:8 to Exodus 2:10). He was blessed by the Lord and placed in a position of favor with the Lord. This was love, for his life was spared for the glory of the Lord. Moses came to take the Israelites from the bondage of Egypt and the Lord used plagues to show His mighty power and strength to the Egyptians. I believe it was a way for those that might believe that God is God and there is no other God before Him to the Egyptians as they were and still known for their many gods. Now, that is a God of love. God, in His awesome ways, freed the Israelites from the bondage to the Egyptians and saved them in battle so many times. Even after they disobeyed Him on many occasions. He still loved them and those that were righteous before Him did not die. Those that were unrighteous before the Lord did die. For example, those that were part of the building of the idols were killed, but those that stood for the Lord were spared. Those that were complainers did not see the Promise land, but the Lord spared the Israelites in battle to get there. He saved the Israelites in many battles as long as they conducted themselves in the manner that He instructed them. Remember 15 | P a g e
  • 16. The Truth of Alissa Lynne III - As I Understand It the Walls of Jericho (The book of Joshua) and the conquering of all the land the Lord blessed them with. Remember Gideon (Judges Chapter Seven) and how the Lord saved them in a battle with a small number of men. This was the love of the Lord. He sent Esther (The book of Esther) to the King to be his wife to save the Israelites yet again from certain death. He blessed His people with such grace and mercy repeatedly despite their disobedience. This is love. The ultimate act of love was yet to be seen. There were years between the Lord talking with His people and the birth of Christ. He had not abandoned His people, they had abandoned Him. He was still the same God as always just as His people were always still His people, getting into trouble and the Lord bailing them out. If you really read the Old Testament, you will see how the Lord set things up for worshipping Him, sacrifices and being in His presence. At the end of the Old Testament and during the beginning of the New Testament, the way to receive forgiveness was to take your offering for the Lord. To the priest and the priest would take the offering to the Lord. Only the High Priests could go into the presence of the Lord and even some of them died in His presence. In Leviticus, there are rules and priest rituals for the Israelites; Deuteronomy is detailed law/code by which the Israelites were to live by. I find those books to be very interesting because of the detail and order that the Lord placed on His people. One of the interesting facts is that the priest had to offer up their sins first and then the people's sin, a reminder of how unclean we really are in the presence of the Lord. It is important to remember that no one was 16 | P a g e
  • 17. permitted in the Holies of Holy, no one but the High Priest was permitted there. As we think on all that the Israelites and mankind has been through in just the Old Testament, the stories are mostly about those of the Israelite nation. There are a few references to people who were not of the Israelite nation, but when mentioned it was because they were at war with the Israelites. This is because God made a covenant with Abraham and His seed, the Israelites. Yet there were many more nations not born of the Israelites that God loved. How do I know that God loved them? The scriptures at the beginning of the chapter: John 3:14-17 14And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. These scriptures are not talking about just the Israelites, but the world. True love came down in the form of man, our God can down in the form of man, and this man was named Jesus. He was no ordinary man from the moment of His conception. He was not created by ordinary men, but by God Himself. He left Heaven to come save us. His birth was a miracle of love. He was born of a virgin, who knew no man while she carried Him in her womb. The enemy tried to kill Him from the day of His birth, by killing off all those male children under the age of two. This man grew in spirit and in truth, which means He was perfect. He was perfect in all ways. Yet, the 17 | P a g e

All He has done thus far for the Israelites and now being born has not yet shown His true love for us. Jesus walked this earth 33 years. He was in the ministry of healing and miracles for three years. Many were saved, healed, delivered, set free, forgiven and truly loved by Jesus. There are so many stories that are in the word of God that tells us what He did while He was here and there are plenty that are not told. John 21:25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen. He was a walking miracle maker. He spoke life into everyone and condemned no one but preached everlasting life if we just believe in Him. This is still not the most precious act of love that the Lord has given us. He was beaten beyond recognition. Let us think about that for a minute, He was beaten beyond recognition, which is saying that He was beaten beyond reason. Isaiah 52:14 (KJV) - As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men; Isaiah 52:14 (NIV) - Just as there were many who were appalled at him, his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any man and his form marred beyond human likeness 18 | P a g e
  • 19. Take a moment and allow that to sink in. Think about the fact that we watch gross stuff on television all the time, look at yourself in the mirror and try to picture your face so bloody, so beaten up that no one could tell it was you. He was beaten for us. Now let us really look over the death of Jesus for a minute. I am sure we are all familiar with it enough but there are a few points I want to make to get a picture of His state BEFORE He was crucified. He was beaten beyond recognition before He was crucified; He was beaten before the Jews had a chance to select Barnabas over Him. It states in John 19:1-3 1Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him. 2And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe, 3And said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they smote him with their hands. I did a search online for the practice of scourge and it is so brutal. It was meant as a torture method to get information from the victim. In my research the Roman Empire kept showing up as the worst offenders to this practice. It is taught to some that Jesus was hit with 39 lashes, but if that is so, it was done by the Jews for the Romans were known to go for long periods of time whipping their victims. In reading all of that, we will come to see that Jesus received the worse punishment ever from these people. Now this is love, but still not the most precious act of love that Jesus has shown us. This is all prior to His actual crucifying. He still had to actually die on the cross. Saying that Jesus died on the cross sounds so much better than what really happened. Now imagine Jesus has been beaten beyond recognition, which means He is not only sore, beaten, but tired and body 19 | P a g e
  • 20. The Truth of Alissa Lynne III - As I Understand It broken. Most likely having passed out at times from the pain, as the Romans were cruel people. Yet, the cruelest part has yet to come, after going through all that, He now faces the actual cross. He started out carrying His cross which is estimated to be 75 to 125 pounds for the cross and 300 pounds for the entire cross. Now, we know He was too weak to carry His cross so another man carried it for Him (Matthew 27:32; Mark 15:21; Luke 23:26). Yet He had to hang on it. He was nailed to the cross and then hung to die. He hung there by nails, which had to be ripping His hands to pieces as gravity is pulling His body down. As He is there on the cross, He asked the Lord to forgive us for our sins, for we know not what we do to Him. This is love, yet not the greatest act of love yet shown to us by Him. He forgives the other man who is hanging on the cross at the same as he is and tells him that He is forgiven and loved. This is yet another act of love from Jesus. He dies and when He dies, the veil in the temple was ripped from the top to the bottom (Matthew 27:51, Mark 15:38, and Luke 23:45). This is the first step towards the greatest act of love that Jesus has shown to us. Give me yet a few more moments of your time to complete the picture, but keep this in mind. He is laid in the tomb for burial and as we know, He defeats death and the enemy, by rising in life for all eternity with all powers in His hands. Nothing can defeat Him and yet there are a few more things to mention. After His resurrection but before ascending to Heaven and His throne in glory, He was here with the disciples instructing them and minister to them on how to be His disciples. He instructs them on what to do and where to go. He spends time again with His people. This is still not the act of love 20 | P a g e
  • 21. that I am speaking about. He made us a promise that if we believe on Him, we would not perish but have ever lasting life, because He came to give life everlasting. It is His promise that He has made to us that is the beginning of the greatest act of love that Jesus has done for us. The greatest act that Jesus has done for us was: Matthew 13:16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. Do you see where I am going with this, the greatest act of love does not just stop in all that I have mentioned in this chapter because it is just the beginning of the love, and the greatest act of it all is that we are blessed by Him to have the ears and eyes to know Him. We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood. We are special unto the Lord for. . . John 10:27-28 27My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. The greatest act of love given unto us is the love He showed us when He plucked us out of darkness into His marvelous light. Was it you that saved yourself, was it you that made it so you could hear what was being said to you about His love? Did you have anything to do with why you are saved? No, you did have the choice to accept it, but He made it so you heard His call for your life in Him. How many times did He call you prior to the time you came to Him? Why did you not accept it then? Why did you ignore it then? Did you even hear Him calling you? His love for you had opened your 21 | P a g e

It is truly the love of Jesus that made it so the scales fell from your eyes so you could see how Jesus truly is to you. He loves us so much that we hear His call for our lives, He loves us so much that He places and allows circumstances to come our way that not only brings us closer to Him but makes us stronger in our walk with Him. Have you heard the Lord calling you to Him? Have you heard Him telling you to give it all up and come to Him to allow Him to love you? If so, then you have received the greatest gift that He has given us. . . you are no longer deaf to Him and you can now see His love in your life, so that you can truly understand what He has done for you by dying on the cross, rising and having all power in His hands. You are truly loved for He has set you free. 22 | P a g e

Chapter Three The Compassion of Jesus Lamentations 2:22-23 22It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. Romans 9:15-16 15For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. 16So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. The compassion of Christ is about the heart of Jesus, the actual outcome of His love in action. It is more of a cause and effect situation, He loves us and shows us compassion because He loves us. It is truly the Lord who shows us the ultimate example of compassion for His people. Throughout the bible, we see examples of compassion that He has shown us since the beginning of time, as we know it. When we look at the word Compassion . . . it represents pity, mercy, and love as a feeling towards another. As we think about this word, we know that Jesus had compassion for this world and all of us in it, not just for some of us, but for all of us. His actions as He walked this earth showed the compassion that He has for us and even to this day, the compassion that He has shown us is awesome. Let us go over a few of His times of compassion and compare to our own lives for a minute or two. Jesus had compassion for the world, the lost in 23 | P a g e
  • 24. The Truth of Alissa Lynne III - As I Understand It sin, for He came to this earth to take on our sins forever. He has shown us compassion in this manner. When He was a baby, He shown compassion on His parents for saving them from the evils of the King who sought to kill Jesus. I am sure if they would have had the chance, Joseph and Mary would have died too. So God sent an angel to Joseph to warn him to leave to spare their lives. This is yet compassion on the family of Jesus. God is truly merciful to us. The miracles that Jesus performed while He walked this earth are a sign of compassion and love for His people. It is important to know that the Lord does all that He does because of His love for us; it is expressed in His compassion for our lives and situation of life. When He was here on earth, He did so many things that the word says that the world would be filed with books. John 21:25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen Let us look at the different types of miracles that He provided. There are five basic types of miracles that He performed. He performed miracles based on cures, exorcisms, nature, and power over death along with spiritual knowledge. Do we see these things still this day. . . yes we do. Jesus performed cures to fever, leprosy, issues of blood, (which was a long term disease), withered hands, dropsy, deafness, blindness, and paralysis. There was even a mention in the word of Jesus healing someone from a sickness, but it was never named. Even today, healings are being done in the name of Jesus. Some healings involve medicine, surgery, but there is 24 | P a g e
  • 25. still what we call miraculous healings. There have been people with unexplainable healings such as cancer being gone when it was clearly seen in the body. There are still situations such as surgery that is performed and it has been through that people would not survive. There are people who suffer heart attacks and strokes that doctors are amazed that they have a 100% recovery. These are just examples of unexplainable healings. It amazes doctors when I tell them of my history of my body. I have been blessed to survive three types of cancer that had come my way and yet I am still here alive to see the outcome. This is the compassion that the Lord has shown me in my life concerning my illnesses. For the lapse of time that I had each cancer, the cancer should have spread to several different places in my body, and still none has ever done so. It has kept to a nice neat area of the affected area and the cancer was removed without major damage to my system. Still today, there are those that are healed with no medical surgery, medication, or treatment of any kind. We have all heard at one point or another how someone had some illness and then the next thing, they are well with no medical explanation. There are people with tumors that are the size of another person and yet they are able to have it removed to live normal lives. We have to see that in all aspects of healings that are given unto us this day. We have to come to terms with the fact that some illnesses are healed in death. It does not mean that God failed them, as a survivor of cancer, a survivor of so many things; that I have learned is that even in death there is victory. Let me explain more. . . 25 | P a g e
  • 26. The Truth of Alissa Lynne III - As I Understand It My mother had Hepatitis C, along with Lupus; her illnesses were attacking all of her organs except her brain. She was not feeling well and the last time I spoke to her, she spoke of being tired and ready to go on home to Jesus. Of course, her only being 20 years older than me at the time, I did not want to hear that from her, but she was tired. She entered into the hospital one night in November, 2005 never to walk out of there again. We had her on machines as she was not brain dead, and we believed that she would come back to us. She was responding to our conversations to her and around her, so we knew she could hear us and probably most times wanted to smack us. I will never forget as I stood by her bedside and told her how much I loved her and wanted her to get well. I saw a tear drop from her eye and I cried all the way home that night. As much as we did not get along at times, I loved her so much and felt so helpless in helping her. We had to come to terms with her dying as her body just shut down all in a matter of 24 hours after I asked God to spare my mother in whatever manner He felt right for her. I told Him that I was ready to let her go if I had to do so but He was going to have to take her from me as my heart could not do it. I got a phone call less than 24 hours later telling me to come to the hospital for she would not make it through the night. Her entire intestine was mush and the rest of her organs were headed there. They assured us that they had her on strong drugs and it is believed that she could feel noc pain. We decided to let them remove the breathing devices and close family members were there as she took her last breath. She left this world on November 16, 2005 and is still very much missed by us all, yet the Lord has given her victory in her death. She is no longer in pain, He has 26 | P a g e
  • 27. healed her. He took her so that she could suffer no more, she would not feel as tired as she was anymore. She is truly free in Jesus. Now, of course we wanted a healing of her body so she was still with us, but the Lord knew that she had served her purpose in this life and it was time for the pain to stop. He healed her by removing her from that life. He strengthened us to deal with it and to continue on with her story of love and compassion as we stood that day to remember her at her memorial service. She was truly blessed by the Lord as her breath slipped away just as peaceful as the Lord would have it to be. No gasping for air, there was no big heavy signs, just surrounded by family that loved her and wanted her pain to end. This was a miracle of healing for her soul and body, as she was truly ready to move on. Therefore, we have medical miracles every single day, even in death though we may not understand it; we must follow what the word of God says in: Proverbs 3:5-6 5 Trust in the Lord with all thing heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy path. Look to the Lord in all things, even when you do not understand it, even in death there is healing. The next set of miracles that Jesus performed is exorcisms. It is something how we, as the body of Christ, do not want to deal with this subject most times. We acknowledge that there is a spiritual warfare going on, yet we do not learn how to keep ourselves from being taken over by a spirit. Yes, we as Christians can be taken over by different spirits, even if that is just for a 27 | P a g e
  • 28. The Truth of Alissa Lynne III - As I Understand It moment, the spirit of jealousy, lust, selfishness, just to name a few. There are some who have more than that in themselves. As we read in the word of God, Jesus was casting demons out of people so that they were free in Him. There are two stories in the word that we want to talk about in connection with today's living. The casting out of legion as there were many along with the spirits knowing if you have the power over them or not. Let us go to the casting out the demon called legion. The story of casting out of the demons is mentioned both in Mark Chapter 5 and Luke Chapter 8. These spirits knew Jesus from a distance as stated in Mark 5:6-7 6But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him, 7And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not. It is clear in Mark that these demons knew the power of Jesus over them and knew what He could do to them. What was interesting is that these demons worshipped the Lord when they saw Him. Remember every knee shall bow and ever tongue confesses that Jesus Christ is Lord. Even during this Jesus showed compassion on these demons as it states in Luke 8:31-33 31And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep. 32And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them. 33Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were choked. 28 | P a g e
  • 29. Have you ever seen anyone walking around town and they are talking to themselves, they are in their own little world doing things that are not in their right mind? Remember this when you see them. . . Ephesians 6:11-13 11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. This is not to judge those with mental illnesses, but to let us be aware that we do not wrestle against ourselves, but the spirits within ourselves. The word lets us know also that everyone is not going to have this power to cast these demons out without the Lord giving you this power. It takes being in the word of God and strong in Him to come at those demons such as mentioned above. Just as they knew Jesus when they saw Him and worshipped Him, they also know those that try to defeat them and cannot do so, to those people; they ignore and maybe even posses. As it says in Acts 19:11-16 11And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: 12So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them. 13Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the LORD Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. 14And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. 15And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are 29 | P a g e

The Truth of Alissa Lynne III - As I Understand It ye? 16And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. We have to be aware of the outcome if we are not lined up with the word of God, walking in His love. He has shown us how to be in Him and the miracles that we can perform, but He has also shown us what can happen if we are 'faking it'. In all of that, we see the miracles of the Lord, His compassion not only on us, but on the demons too. We are to draw close to the Lord. As mentioned in every single one of my books I lost my mind one night, I mean truly lost it. I do not know who that woman was and could truly tell you that I believe I was under the influence of something that was not me. I felt different, I acted different, and I spoke different than I have ever done in my life. Was I 'possessed' at that time, not in the sense that most of us think of being possessed, but there were spirits acting in me that were not of Jesus and it was in Him that I was able to overcome. We truly have to understand, as we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, the enemy wants to kill us and destroy us, how can he do that, in most cases, he has to get in our minds and get us thinking outside of our character in Christ. It states in: John 10:10-11 10The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. 11I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. 30 | P a g e
  • 31. We have to understand what the enemy is coming to do yet remember what Jesus has done. This is one outcome of His compassion for us. He knows that the enemy is going to attack our mind possibly 'possess' us to get us to be outside of the will of God even if it is for a minute or months at a time, we need to be mindful of the compassion that Jesus has shown us by empowering us in Him. Miracles of nature, Jesus performed these types of miracles that had people in awe of what He did. It was one thing to speak to demons and to heal people but to command the elements of life too. When reading the word of God, we see how the Lord was able to do so much while He was here and then bless us with eth same power in Him to do the same. Praise the Lord for it. Some of the miracles of nature is the feeding of the hungry. He took a little and made a lot .When He fed the men, mind you, the numbers only represent the men that were there, there were 5,000 men and 4,000 men that were fed. The 5,000 men who were fed from five loaves and two fishes and is located in all four gospels (Matthew Chapter 14, Mark Chapter 6, Luke Chapter 9, and John Chapter 6). Jesus fed them yet again, there were 4,000 men fed on seven loaves and few little fishes. Both times, there was food left over after everyone had their fill of food. Okay, this is just so awesome. As we look over the compassion of Jesus, these people were listening to the word of God and into what He was saying that few had food with them. They were compelled to hear Him speak. They did not leave to go get food. Jesus knew He had to feed them and feed them He did. The feeding of 4,000 men can be found in Matthew 15:32-38. 31 | P a g e
  • 32. The Truth of Alissa Lynne III - As I Understand It There is Jesus' first miracle, which was the wine at the wedding, and His wine was better than the previous wine. He showed compassion for the host of the wedding to help provide them with being a good host. As we are today, we do not like to run out of things when we are being hospitable and Jesus stepped right on in with no hesitation and showed compassion for this family, by providing for them. This miracle can be found in John Chapter 2. We need to remember in both of these miracles are examples of Jesus showing compassion on us for our physical need of substance. We need to eat and be replenished for there is strength in the food that we eat. Yes, man does not live by bread alone as referred to in Matthew 4:4 and Luke 4:4, yet we know we still need that bread to live. Our bodies start to shut down when we do not eat after a long time. Yet, the Lord continues to provide, He shows us in our own lives when we are in need that He will provide what we need. If it is the money to buy the food or someone giving food to you to help, you make it through until more comes. The Lord supplies our needs in this manner. He shows us the compassion that He has for us by providing the things that we need to keep our strength in the physical body that He created for us. Along with that, Jesus performed the miracles of catching the fish which is located in John 21:6, along with a few others but let us touch one more specific nature miracles, the calming of the storm. This story is in Matthew 8:23-27. Now this story shows us how when the Lord was on the boat with the disciples, a bad storm came and the disciples feared for their lives, yet the Lord showed compassion on their silliness and little faith and calmed the seas. He knew that the storms were raging, but He also 32 | P a g e
  • 33. knew who He was and there was no need to be in fear for anything. Since the beginning of time, He has calmed the storms in our lives. He is the sea calmer, yet they had little faith to satisfy their fears, He showed compassion for them and calmed the sea for them. Many times, we read the scriptures in Psalms to calm our souls and this is yet another example of His compassion for us. See how this very passage can relate to not just our lives now, but during the storm that was mentioned in Matthew Chapter 8. Psalm 107:23-30 23They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters; 24These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep. 25For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof. 26They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble. 27They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wit's end. 28Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses. 29He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.30Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven. When the storms of life are raging all around us, the Lord is right there with us bringing the storms to calmness and yet if we are in Him, we will just ride out the storm knowing that nothing will come to us because He is the head of our lives. Jesus performed many miracles, yet there are only four recordings of rising from the dead that He performed, His own death and resurrection, the son of the widow, his friend Lazarus, and Jairus' daughter.   • 34. The Truth of Alissa Lynne III - As I Understand It resurrection is located in every single gospel. . . Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. The rising of the son of the widow is mentioned in Luke 7:11-15, which states in verse 13, "And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not." The death of Lazarus states that Lazarus was merely sleeping and Jesus proclaimed that Lazarus was not dead. The story is located in John 11:1- 44. The death of Jairus' daughter is located in Luke 8:41-56. In all cases, everyone except Jesus was stated to be asleep not dead, He wanted people to see that death is eternal, that life is eternal, yet none understood while He walked with them. So many times we have a love one pass away and we are saddened by their leaving, yet we should not be saddened when one who was saved has gone on, because we shall see them yet again, if we live our lives right. He that is not saved, shall die an eternal death. If you are saved, in your passion you have eternal life. Jesus has shown us compassion by showing us how we do not have to die a death of all eternity but when we are no longer here and waiting for the first resurrection, we will be sleeping in Him, not dead to Him. It is an example of how His words are even compassionate when He speaks to us about the things of sorrow in our lives. There is still one more story of compassion of Jesus and death, though Jesus was not here on earth, He sent the Holy Spirit which is of Him to come and comfort us, with this baptism of the Holy Spirit, we have power over all things in this life. We have the ability to raise the dead if we believe and have faith that we can. Paul was preaching so long that a young man fell asleep during the service, with the compassion of Jesus in him, Paul 34 | P a g e
  • 35. raised this young man from his sleep, yet this is not by the power of Paul but the power of Jesus. This is located in Acts 20:9-12. In all of this Jesus still shows us that we have victory even when we believe that the life is gone from things, just another reminder that He is the way, the truth, and the light of this world. The last miracle type is miracle of spiritual knowledge. We know that God knows all things, that He is the Alpha and Omega, He has all knowledge, but we do not have this, this is truly a blessing of the Lord. He has all knowledge so it is a miracle for us to witness it. He has blessed us to be able to speak prophesy but that is when He grants us this knowledge. It is solely based on the will of the Lord on who has this gift. The fact that Jesus knows the number of hairs on our head is a miracle, He knows all our thoughts and where we were and going. It is the love of the Lord that makes it so. He shows us compassion when He speaks to our hearts, and when He sends us a word from Him. We have to understand that all the Lord is doing for us on our behalf is all spiritual knowledge in Him. There are many who will look over the writings of this chapter and say that it is all by chance or just rubbish, but we can look at things in this day and see the compassion of Jesus still in things that happen now. Psalm 86:14-16 14O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set thee before them. 15But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, long suffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth. 16O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant, and save the son of thine handmaid. 35 | P a g e

The Truth of Alissa Lynne III - As I Understand It Psalm 145:7-9 7They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness. 8The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. 9The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. There have been some major catastrophes here in United States, such as September 11th and Hurricane Katrina and even more recently Hurricane Ike, yet through it all Jesus was with us and showed His compassion for the human race. Most people question why these bad things happen by blaming them on God, when in essences we need to blame them on man, not God. Just as we choose to serve the Lord or not serve Him, He allows us to determine what happens in society as a whole. He does not want us to be like robots but to serve Him in spirit and in truth. John 4:24 God is a Spirit; and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. There are many who do not hear the Lord calling them, they have yet to accept the greatest act of love that He has for us, so in doing so, what happens, sin still runs rampant. For example, the grievances that the terrorist had against the United States caused them to plot against us using our own resources against us. This is nothing but sin, why did some die and others did not, for the Lord had compassion and prevented for all to perish. Whereas Hurricane Katrina and Ike is also a man made problem, we are doing things to this earth that was not intended to happen to it, by taking resources and depleting resources that is not meant to be done. Such as the air we have by pollution, destroying the protection that we have with ozone, going out into outer space repeatedly, this has all changed the way the 36 | P a g e
  • 37. weather happens. We as humans and our greed (a sin) have changed what this plant was meant to be. Our hatred (a sin) for someone who is different, and the power that we want (a sin) have caused so many catastrophes here whether it is wars, rumors of wars, change in the weather that causes deaths, it is all done by the actions of man. Jesus shows His compassion for us by sparing those that He feels are needed to be spared. It is also another way to see His glory shine through. We are the cause of the mess of this world, since the beginning of time. During all of this time Jesus has shown His compassion for His people and for those that have yet to come to Him. We still have to remember that we have to work on our fellowship/relationship with Him, have faith in Him, and remember that He does have guidelines that we must follow to be complete in Him. The meaning of fellowship . . . by the Easton's Bible Dictionary definition it is explained as: 1. With God, consisting in the knowledge of His will (Job 22:21; John 17:3); agreement with His designs (Amos 3:2); mutual affection (Romans 8:38-39); enjoyment of His presence (Psalm 4:6); conformity to His image (I John 2:6; 1:6); participation of His felicity (I John 1:3-4; Ephesians 3:14-21). 2. Of saints with one another, in duties (Romans 12:5; I Corinthians 12:1; I Thessalonians 5:17-18); in ordinances (Hebrew 10:25; Acts 2:46); in grace, love, joy, etc. (Malachi 3:16; II Corinthians 13:16); in sufferings (Romans 15:1-2; Galatians 6:1-3; Romans 12:15) and in glory (Revelation 7:9). 38 | P a g e
  • 39. Webster Dictionary states fellowship as the condition of sharing similar interests, ideals, or experiences, as by reason of profession, religion, or nationality. Fellowship is the companionship of individuals in a congenial atmosphere and on equal terms. It is a close association of friends or equals sharing similar interests. Friends; comradeship. Often times the Fellowship of Jesus is mistaken to be in reference of reading our bible and praying, though those things are truly 100% essential to knowing Jesus, they are not the only things that we should do to have fellowship with Jesus. We are quick to misjudge our own thoughts and the direction of the Lord and in this case, He has blessed us with fellowship with each other. In this fellowship with each other, we will see that our walk with the Lord is strengthened. We are to call on each other and be supportive of our fellow sisters and brothers in Christ. James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. In confession of our faults, we are able to free ourselves from the lies, sins, doubts and those things that hold us back from having a better fellowship with Christ. We have a tendency when "Confessing" to ourselves things, not bearing all truths, but the more we practice James 5:16 and it is met with the love of Jesus Christ, the more willing we are to do so. It is imperative to our very being to be a sister or brother in Christ that is able to not just confess our faults, but able to take the confession from others and have it remain within us and not give out to others. 39 | P a g e
  • 40. The Truth of Alissa Lynne III - As I Understand It It says in Romans 12:15-16 and Romans 12:4-5 very clearly how we are to be with our fellow sisters and brothers in Christ. Romans 12:15-16 15Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.16Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. Romans 12:4-5 4For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: 5So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. The ultimate scripture to all of this is; John 13:34-35 34A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. 35By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. This brings us right back to the scriptures for this chapter, John 15:4-7. Throughout these scriptures, Jesus is telling us to abide in Him, to have fellowship with Him, to be likeminded with Him, for if we do not do so - we are cast away from him. His parable of the vine and branches gives to us the simplest explanation of what happens when we do not abide/fellowship with Him. It states in verse 6 of John Chapter 15: If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 40 | P a g e
  • 41. We get a clear picture what will happen if we do not abide in Jesus, if our fellowship in this life is not in Him. We shall be cast into the pits of hell with satan himself. We will not be subjected to punishment from satan, but we will be eternally separated from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in a sea of fire and brimstone, in eternal pain. As painful, scary, and unpleasant that sounds, many will meet this fate, but we are given an opportunity to build our fellowship with Jesus and to keep Him ever before us in all that we do. We can see one importance of building our fellowship with Jesus, but He has blessed us to not do it alone. He has made us a part of a special family, a special body with Christ. We are His children and in our fellowship with Him, we are blessed with fellowship with likeminded sisters and brothers in Christ. These are other believers of Jesus, who may not always share the same doctrine, we share the same Savior and in this He will work all the rest out. Our fellowship with Jesus is imperative and so is our fellowship with each other. God does not speak as He used to speak to Moses and those of Old Testament times. Remember the mountains would 'roar' when His presence was in them. Moses himself, was blessed to see God's back parts (Exodus 33:18-23), but no one has sat and talked with God face to face. yet God will send His people to others to minister unto them with a word from the Lord. This is not to be mistaken for fortune telling claiming to be from the Lord. This is another reason why we need to have fellowship with Jesus so that 41 | P a g e

Have you ever been going through something and someone encourages your spirit by something that they said but yet they have no idea what you are going through, this is building your fellowship with Jesus. Have you ever been going about your day and a song of praise or a scripture comes to you that will not leave? This is considered building your fellowship with Jesus. Have you ever read a passage and got one meaning one time and the next time you read it, there is a new meaning to you? This is building your fellowship with Jesus. We make having fellowship with Jesus harder than it really is; all we have to do is desire to know Him more. In desiring to know more of Jesus, we will be led by the Holy Spirit to do what is necessary to build a better fellowship with Jesus. As we are striving to build our fellowship, our faith in the Lord will grow stronger and in this we will come to see the full measure of His direction and love for us. 42 | P a g e
  • 43. Chapter Five The Faith of Jesus I Corinthians 1:9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. In all things God is with us, and He is forever faithful to us. It is the faithfulness of the Lord that has kept us even during our rebellion in life. As humans, we have been in rebellion against the Lord since the day of Adam and Eve. We came into the knowledge of good and evil, and have chosen to follow our flesh and not the Spirit of the Lord, yet during all this time of our rebellion, Jesus has been faithful to us. We are still able to live the life that we choose to live, whether for Him or for ourselves for living for ourselves ends in destruction and eternal death. Yet in all of this, the Lord is faithful to His word. Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth; it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. The word of the Lord is strong; He is faithful unto His word. The word of the Lord goes forth and returns back to Him not voided but completed in what He meant for it to do. Jesus was faithful from the beginning of time, since the consumption of this earth, He has made sure that His word has not only gone forth but does what He says it will do. 43 | P a g e
  • 44. The Truth of Alissa Lynne III - As I Understand It As we read the word of the Lord, God has shown that when we follow His word, He is faithful to His word. The Israelites are a prime example of this, when Israel was living according to the Lord, He blessed that nation as He said but when they would go astray after other gods and kings, the Lord allowed them to be in bondage and pain, yet when they called out to Him, He delivered them. It is clear in the word that His deliverance was always there for them, yet it was the Israelites choice on whether or not to obey. God was faithful to His word then and now. Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Throughout the word of God, He has shown His faithfulness to His people despite our choices. An excellent example of God's faithfulness is Abraham, Abraham is known as a man of faith, faith for leaving His family's home and headed to an unknown land that the Lord promised him and his descendants. Even during his doubting moments of the protection of the Lord, when he told the kings not once but twice how Sarai/Sarah was not his wife but his sister, the Lord protected him. These kings could have rightfully imprisoned Abraham or even killed him, but the protection of the Lord prevailed. He even gained from it as the kings gave him money and treasures to leave their lands. We are always saying how faithful Abraham was, but God was still more faithful to Abraham. Abraham was no longer alive when his family grew to be the number of the stars as the Lord spoke to Abraham. After Abraham had died, the Lord still kept His promise to Abraham and his family became a nation. 44 | P a g e
  • 45. We see examples of this throughout the word of the Lord with the men and women of the bible. Yet when it comes to our lives, we question the Lord, we wonder if He is going to be faithful to His word and keep us during the times of need, the times of joy and basically just in life all together. Jesus said that if we have the faith as a grain of mustard seed, nothing shall be impossible unto us. He is faithful to His word; He keeps His word in all that He does. Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief; for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Even during the times when we are weak and finding it hard to overcome our weakness, the Lord has us in mind and His word will come forth and move things according to the way that He says it will be. The Lord spoke to the father of the boy whom was dumb and possessed by devils that if he believed, anything was possible, and the response of the father was he did believe but he needed help to overcome his unbelief. Mark 9:23-24 (KJV) 23Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. 24And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief. 45 | P a g e

"Everything is possible for him who believes." 24Immediately the boy's father exclaimed, "I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!" A personal example that I have of this is how I used to be so concerned about my finances, I was new in the Lord and was not sure how to deal with things. I knew to pray but the trust and faith was far away. I was in need of money and was waiting for a check to come so that I could do what I needed to do, and I was frazzled, just completely frazzled. I was crying and yelling and just so angry that I was having such a hard time. The Lord released the money when I truly needed it, and I was relieved and thankful. It was in that lesson and a few more that came with the finances, that I saw that God was faithful in His word. He provided for me and He kept me, now I just needed to believe and have faith for He has done it before, He will always continue to do so. James 1:2-4 (KJV) 2My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. James 1:2-4 (NIV) 2Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. Romans 5:2-4 2By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3And not only 46 | P a g e
  • 47. so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4And patience, experience; and experience, hope: He is faithful during our trials/temptations, for He is molding us to be more like Him and to be complete in this life. It is truly the love and faithfulness of the Lord to us. In His faithfulness to us, He is making us into better Christians and giving us a better life enabling us to withstand the tests of time and to live life eternally with Him. So as you are going through this life and things are happening to you, remember this in all that you go through. . . I Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. When we live for Jesus and fight the temptation, life is better. Remember this. . . Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let us move forward to the unpleasant part of Christianity, the part that we just really do not like to deal with, the wrath of the Lord. 47 | P a g e
  • 48. The Truth of Alissa Lynne III - As I Understand It Chapter Six The Wrath of Jesus Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Praise the Lord, the word is true and complete. It is given unto us so that we will have life and have life abundantly for all eternity, yet if we choose to ignore it, the wrath of Jesus will come to us in the end of all things. Many times we allow ourselves to just think of the side of the Lord that is compassionate and loving, because it is the easiest part to deal with, but yet we know there is a wrath of the Lord when we read the word, and it is not only in the Old Testament. The wrath of the Lord is for those that are not living for the Lord, so you will only feel His wrath if you deny Him and not pick up the cross and live for Him. Those that deny the Lord, by outright denial by living solely for self or even those that say they know Jesus but choose to live a life full of sin are going to feel the wrath of the Lord. As many of us know, the Lord showed many ways of His wrath in the Old Testament. He loves His people and will correct them, those that willfully disobey the Lord, felt His wrath. Adam and Eve were sent out of the Garden of Eden that started the life of hardship. Cain was sent from the presence of the Lord to wander the earth. The Israelites suffered the most from the wrath of the Lord, when they would not listen as lives were lost and many 48 | P a g e
  • 49. times they were in bondage to other nations. A great nation such as Israel was and still is suffering from their lack of belief in the Lord. When we read the word of the Lord, there are many things that show how He can and will deal with His people. The most common that people speak about is the flood in the days of Noah. The world was full of sin and only one was righteous before Him. When you read the book of Revelation and the words of the New Testament, you will see that God is not playing with the people of this world, time is winding down and it is up to us to get right before the Lord - not tomorrow but right now today in Jesus. The book of Revelation, Daniel and Ezekiel tells us of what is to come and how things are going to go when the complete wrath of the Lord is dealt with. There will be plagues unlike any other plagues we have ever seen as each seal of the seven seals are broken and the vials are let loose on those that are not followers of Christ. This is still not the ultimate wrath of the Lord; eternal separation from the Lord by living apart from Him for all eternity is the final wrath of the Lord. Many people walk around believing that Hades and Hell do not exists. Some even believe that satan rules hell and there are even people who give the word of the Lord stating that satan will torture us in hell, yet that is not true. Jesus is very clear about hell and what it was made for in Matthew Chapter 25, verses 41, and He is clear about who will go there along with satan and his angels. 49 | P a g e

The Truth of Alissa Lynne III - As I Understand It Matthew 25:41, 45-46 41Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 45Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. It is clear in the word of the Lord - what is going to happen and come about to those that are not following His instruction, yet the word is clear here that those that do not do as He instructs will go away into everlasting punishment BUT the righteous into life eternal. It is clear that death is separation from the Lord and life is eternal life with Him. We are finding that people believe that satan is the one punishing us but in the end it is Jesus who will be sending the judgment down upon those that are none believers. The word of the Lord says. . . Jude 1:14-19 14And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, 15To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. 16These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage. 17But, beloved, 50 | P a g e
  • 51. remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. 19These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. Now after reading that, some of you might be thinking, “but who are these people that are not going to be with the Lord and spend eternity in hell with satan?” The deceivers, are angels that followed satan. . . read the word below: I Corinthians 6:8-10 8Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren. 9Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. Let us go over these things to get a better understanding of the word, and what it is really saying we need to not be a part of. Fornicators - illicit sexual intercourse of the unmarried Idolaters - turning away from God to worship other things, such as demons, other gods, things, people whether openly or secretly, consciously or unconsciously Adulterers - intercourse with the spouse of another , cultivating friendships with the world, thus breaking your spiritual union with Christ - this is called spiritual adultery as you were spiritually united to Him as wife to husband. Effeminate - having feminine qualities untypical of a man: not manly in appearance or manner. Abusers of themselves with mankind - this is believed to be homosexuals and those that are 'unnatural' sex, which depending on jurisdiction can consist of oral sex or anal sex or any non-genital to genital congress, whether heterosexual, or homosexual, or with human or animal Thieves - self-explanatory - someone who steals and won't stop 52 | P a g e

Covetous - speaking of someone who is eager to have more in the sense to have what belongs to others; hence greedy of gain, which also includes money, positions, possessions and people Drunkards - basically an alcoholic or being intoxicated Revilers - to assail with abusive language Extortioners - those that use extortion Uncleanness - this is sexual uncleanness (by most definitions) Lasciviousness - this is sexual excess Witchcraft - this is not just witches and sorcery, but this also includes all the occult things such as horoscopes, tarot readings, and palm readings Hatred - Self explanatory -hating Variance - this is speaking of strife, and discord Emulations - this is speaking of jealousy Wrath - self explanatory - uncontrolled anger Strife - this is speaking of self-ambition Seditions - disagreement which leads to division Heresies - this is speaking of permanent organized divisions. cliques and as much as people do not like to hear this - it includes ALL secret societies 53 | P a g e

The Truth of Alissa Lynne III - As I Understand It such as fraternities and sororities, also all those types of organizations in religion/churches Envyings - when we are envying others or coveting Murders - self explanatory - but this is just not physical, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally murders Drunkenness - over excessive drinking, and being intoxicated Revellings - excess - including gluttony and carousing Now if you are currently in any of these lifestyles, you still have time to come out of them and live for Jesus, yet if you choose not to come out of these things, then you will find that you will feel the wrath of Jesus. It is not a time to sit back and just enjoy life in our sins for it is clear by the word of the Lord, that there is going to come a time when we must answer for our decisions in this life. Chapter Seven The Completion in Jesus John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:27-29 27My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. So many people are looking for completion in their lives, they come to Jesus and do not understand what they should do to have completion. Yet, the joy of knowing that you are one of His children should be completion enough for us, just knowing that we are going to spend eternity with Him should bring us the feeling of completion, yet many still do not feel complete in Him. Here are some things that bring completion in Jesus, after accepting Jesus as our personal savior... Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Faith - faith is essential to feeling complete in the Lord, without faith you cannot even please the Lord, let alone feel complete. Faith is what keeps us 55 | P a g e

Faith is believing His word, trusting His word, and knowing that praying to Him, reading His word and truly looking to the Lord for direction will bring you to a place of completion in the Lord. It is in our faith that keeps us in the Lord, and believing that He can do anything. It is our faith that believes His word when things look like nothing is going to come together. It is faith that brings us back to His word reminding us... Luke 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible. Matthew 17:20-21 20And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. 21Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting. This leads us to the next thing to completion in Jesus. It is fasting and prayer. It should be our mindset to be one who fasts and prayers regularly. In our prayers, we are to be talking to the Lord and giving unto Him praise, love, seeking HIS direction, interceding on the behalf of others, along with taking our own requests to the Lord. It is in our prayer life, that we will even see our true heart in the Lord, for part of our prayer time is to be spent in silence hearing from the Lord as He speaks to our hearts. It is our prayer life that lets us know where our true heart is by how we respond to His direction, His correction, His words and 56 | P a g e
  • 57. His love. It is a blessing to have a prayer life for this is one of your communications from the Lord. Prayer without fasting is truly not the completeness of your life in Jesus. In fasting, we give up things for the Lord, showing that we can deny our flesh to hear from Him. We do not fast so we can get stuff, we fast so that we can hear more clearly from the Lord. This is something that should not be missed in our life in Jesus. It brings completeness in Jesus. 2 Timothy 2:15-16 15Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. Study of the word of the Lord, in other words, reading and studying the bible is essential to having completeness in Jesus. It is important to remember that you have all you need in the word of the Lord. It is important also that you receive direction in the word of the Lord. It is one way to know you are in the will of the Lord, for if you are in His will, there will not be scripture to contradict what you are doing, plan on doing or already did. It is important to not only study the word of the Lord, but to know that it is true. 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 57 | P a g e

The Truth of Alissa Lynne III - As I Understand It We have to not just know the word of the Lord, such as being able to recite it, preach it and give out to others, but the most important part is to believe it for yourself and live it. It is so important that we know that Jesus' words, the word of the bible are true for our own life. It is important that we look inside of the word and apply it to our very lives, even though there are times when we do not want to apply the word to our lives. One of the scriptures that I personally have to fight to keep Philippians 2:14-15 (KJV) 14Do all things without murmurings and disputings: 15That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Philippians 2:13-14 (NLT)13For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.14 Do everything without complaining and arguing, 15 so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people. I know many of us have 'issues' with this word, because it is the hard not to complain or have disputes. The thing about it to me was not only do we not complain about something which includes venting, but we do not argue. So this means to those of us that bicker with our husbands, we are out of line by the word of the Lord. It is not easy to really remember this to me, but I know the word of the Lord, so I know that I will be able to one day get there, because I have faith and I believe the word of the Lord for myself. 58 | P a g e
  • 59. One that should come natural to all Christians but it is not, is attendance of church for it brings us to completion in Jesus. There are many who believe in Jesus but do not attend church, they rely on the message via the radio, or the television but forgetting the importance of the body of Christ coming together in fellowship, which in this age of life is attending church services, and different activities given in the church. Many have turned their back on the church because of the corruption, the mistrust and even the mistruth being spoken but that is nothing but the enemy to keep us from fellowship, which strengthens our walk in the Lord. Most times when I speak to a sister or brother in Christ who are having a lot of struggles in their lives, they have not been to church services in a long time, for at least in a month or more. To me missing two services is a long time as the Jesus in me depends on the fellowship with likeminded believers. When I was sick and missed two Sunday services, I felt it in my very being. I felt a little detached and needing to be among other praise and worshippers of Jesus. Many stay home and struggle, always wondering why things are the way they are for they are missing a step in their walk with the Lord. We have to remember what the word of the Lord says about fellowship... 1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. 59 | P a g e

Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. Acts 2:42-47 42And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. 43And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. 44And all that believed were together, and had all things common; 45And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. 46And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, 47Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. It is clear that the Lord wants us to fellowship for many reasons, but one reason is clear - we are one body and how can we be one body in the Lord if we do not fellowship with each other and be on one accord.   • 61. One of the other ways is to focus on Jesus to be living truly for Christ. We cannot be complete in the Lord when we are not focusing on His direction and His way for our lives. When we focus on the ways of the Lord and how He directs us, we will have a better walk in this life. I am not talking about the material side of things although I do believe that He does this also, but we will be able to walk in the Lord with the full armour of God and be ready for all those things that come at us. We cannot do what the word says in Ephesians 6:11-17 if we do not know the Lord and truly walking in Him and living by His word and direction. Ephesians 6:11-17 11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: If we do not walk in the Lord, how can we walk in His spirit and by His spirit, it keeps us from doing things that we should not. If we do not walk and live in Jesus, how are we able to be complete in Him? He is to be our direction and our thoughts should be on Jesus. 61 | P a g e

Matthew 6:31-34 31Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. These scriptures are so essential to our walk in the Lord, to truly be complete in Jesus. It is important to follow Him and not ourselves, which means to deny ourselves and take up our cross to live in Jesus. Finally, completion is to be with Jesus at the end of this life. We are aware that Jesus will return. He is to come back for His people and in this we will reign with Him for all eternity, this is the final act of completion of Jesus. We will not have this completion until His return but just the thought of it should spark us to continue on in this walk and to seek Him in everything we do. This is the way our lives are to be lived, we are to live our lives in Jesus, and on that note - onward to the last and final chapter...The Closing.... 62 | P a g e
