Bond Between Children and their Parents
Overview:
Boarding schools and day schools are different when it comes to certain teaching
approaches. The education is topmost priority in both entities but there are certain things
that stands apart in Boarding Schools. One of the most helpful and effective practise that
goes on in Boarding schools are it various students-parents programs. This
communication summary will outline all the programs and their details.
Key Highlights of Parent-Student Bond:
1. Parental involvement at international schools can help build positive
between parents and kids, as well as parents and teachers. In local schools
involved curriculums are less. Due to these programs, parents will have a better
of what their child’s day is like, which can improve family communication. The
in the mentality or just the transition of their mentality is something every
requires to raise their kids nowadays.
2. Younger children often get excited seeing their parents volunteering at their
school. This is according to many international schools in India consider one of
most positive outlooks. This not only builds and improves relationships
parents and teachers but also it helps the schools to understand the family
dynamics, cultural background and challenges each family faces.
3. Parents may develop a better understanding of the teacher’s expectations and the challenging
dynamics that a teacher may face in class. Getting to know each other can clear up such frustrations
as the way a teacher handles discipline or why a parent is unhappy with the amount of homework
being assigned to her child. The parent or the guardian can expect outcomes based on that and not
expect more.
4. Community Events are really famous in International schools and contributing to community
events such as food drives and walk-a-thons gives students an opportunity to meet people in
different socio-economic situations than themselves. These community events also provide
students with exciting projects that don’t directly benefit themselves, which can show them the
satisfaction that comes with selfless service. Schools that emphasize social responsibility may
encourage students to brainstorm ways to help after natural disasters and other global crises and
preparing them from future disasters.
