1. REPRODUCTIVE MALE SYSTEM –

PENIS –
• It is the male copulatory organ.
• Bulbous shaped tip called gland
penis & protected by foreskin.
• Penis delivers sperm into the
female reproductive tract.
• Erection occurs due to sinuses
within the erectile tissue of the
penis become filled with blood.
• Urinary meatus is located at the
tip of the gland penis.
3. SCROTUM
• The scrotum is a pouch like
structure.
• It contains numerous nerves &
blood vessels.
• It consist of loose skin &
underlying subcutaneous tissue.
• Internally scrotal septum divided
scrotum into two sacs, each
containing a single testis.
• It is made up with dartos muscle,
which composed of smooth
muscle fibers. Which gives
wrinkled appearance.
• Scrotum connected with
abdomen or pelvic cavity by the
inguinal cannel.
4. TESTICLES
• It is one paired oval gland in the scrotum
measuring about 5cm long & 2.5cm wide.
• It produce sperm & testosterone hormone ,
this hormone directly absorbed into blood
stream.
• It develop during later half of seventh
month of fetal development. It develop near
the kidney & posterior part of the abdomen
& they begin decent in to the scrotum by the
inguinal canal.
• Inside the testes forming septa that divided
testes into a series called lobules.
• 200-300 lobules contain 1-3 tight coiled
tubules that called somniferous tubules ,
here sperms are produced.
