The stages run from birth and infancy to school age children. Sensorimotor is the first stage and

environment they live in and they learn this through the reflexes and movements they produce.
They also learn that they are separate people from their parents and they can say goodbye to them
and know they will come back. The second stage is called the preoperational stage. During this stage
of development, children will learn how to incorporate symbols to represent objects. This is also the
beginning of learning the alphabet and speech. The child is still very much egocentric at this point in
time, but with the help of understanding educators, the child will grow appropriately onto the next

Obesity is a growing problem around the world. People eat too much much junkfood and too
many carbs. They watch TV, play videogames, or get on the internet most of the time. These
people do everything but exercising and staying physically fit and healthy. So they gain weight in
excess amounts and become very unhealthy. People can become very unhappy also. Because of
their excess weight, poor health, and the buildup of toxins in the fat cells, it can bring on
depression. And the fat cells can even grow cancerous tumours and make these people have cancer.
Being obese can even cut years off of your life! But fortunately, there are people willing to help.

But physical education isn't only exercising. It can be sports too. Even if your school doesn't have
a PE program, they will most likely have sports. Some school sports are football, basketball,
volleyball, wrestling, ECT... Sports keep you active and movind around so they give you exercise.
So, whether you spiking a volleyball or shooting some hoops, you are staying active.
Walking is the healthiest, safest way to start a total fitness program. It's the most natural way to
build you fitness. It's also a exellent form of aerobic exercise. It is the most flexible exercise as

The roles of a teacher are so many and so varied that it is impossible to list them all, but one of the
most important is preparing students to learn, not only in the classroom, but everywhere, and for
the rest of their lives. Learning is not a skill that is necessarily instinctual or easy, and therefore

not a skill that can be memorized or made repetitive, and so teachers must continue to challenge

In today's world people need to compete globally for jobs and one of the most important factors in

With the current recession and foreclosure crisis, more families are facing homelessness than ever
before. This presents additional struggles for children and the schools who educate them. Since
many of the students have no fixed place to stay, they could bounce from school to school
providing no stability for education, or in some areas these children are transported back to their
original home school sometimes causing kids to be on busses for long commutes. When children
face a lack of stability in the classroom it is easier to fall behind, and teachers might only begin to
see deficiencies in skills after observing work for a while it could lead a student to fall further
behind every day. Even when children have a stable home there are other family life factors that can
affect their progress at school. Child neglect, drugs, alcohol, gangs, violence, and hunger can all have
a significant impact on how children learn both at school and at home. A child's first educational
experience should be at home, however with increasing use of drugs and alcohol, and sometimes
unintentional neglect from not being able to afford quality daycare means that some children
