1. Argumentative Essay On Open Borders
The Debated Topic of Open Borders Open borders has been a very deeply debated topic,
especially in today's society. What most people do not know is how open borders could actually
be and it's a great argument to be made. However In the article"A world of free movement would
be $78 trillion richer" from the July 13th 2017 issue of the economist, the author ineffectively uses
logos to illustrate the major boost the world economy would get if we had open borders. The author
does not provide enough facts to back up the claim the open borders would be a good option. The
author does present information just not enough factual information. This is an argument that can be
easily backed up with many pieces of factual evidence but instead the author chose to use made up
examples and comparisons. From the title of this article you could conclude that this article will be
focused around the incomes and the money situations of migrants and the overall world economy.
The author begins their argument by telling how the income of people from third world countries
would greatly increase if they traveled to the US and began working. In the text the author states that
"Mexican labourers who migrate to the United States can expect to earn 150% more. Unskilled
Nigerians make 1,000% more". While that argument may seem compelling, there is no elaboration,
further reasoning or actual sourced facts to back up this claim. The author uses logos to explain and
persuade his reasoning, they

2. Example Of An Argument Analysis
Prompt: "Can an argument really be any text that expresses a point of view? What kinds of
arguments–if any–might be made by... a Tesla Model S electric car...the health warnings on a
package of cigarettes"– Page 6 An argument can be anything from a Tesla to the health warnings on
a package of cigarettes. An argument is any text that expresses a point of view, since it's a point
of view there is no right or wrong. Anything we wear, say or hear reflects something about
yourself, whether you know it does, or not. While driving a Tesla, you're telling the people around
you several things; the price of the car tells them that you're willing to spend at least $70,000 on a
car. The message of driving an electric car is that you are conscious...show more content...
The health warning could be a warning by the FDA, against cigarettes. This is a more literal
example, because the warning states reasoning behind why someone shouldn't smoke cigarettes.
However, the cigarette companies can have a counterargument, by how they display this health
warning. If it is small and in the corner, they may be implying that this information isn't important, or
irrelevant. Also the verbal warning in commercials could be a counterargument to the argument of
the health warning. Some may see the health warning as a way to show those around them that they
don't care about the risks, and are dangerous. When a cigarette company states these warnings
quietly this could mean they do not think the listener need to know this, or they do not want the
user to hear the message. The FDA could fight back, by creating laws about how large this label has
to be, or at which speed this message must be read at. Recently in India, it has been the law for
cigarette packages to display an image that covers 85% of their packaging. (Ananthanarayanan,
"Cigarette Health Warnings: Size Matters.") In a counter argument, cigarette companies have
stopped production, to protest this

3. Argument Essay On Equality
Equality Argument Essay "THE YEAR WAS 2081, and everybody was finally equal." these are
the first words read in the short story, "Harrison Bergeron" by Kurt Vonnegut. The story is about
a future where everyone in the world is, "not only equal in front of God and the law", but also
equal in every which way, like knowledge and looks and physical ability. In the story, a couple is
watching tv and witness their arrested son break into a ballet and dance a wonderful dance only to
be shot dead by the handicapper general herself. That leaves a question, what the reader can easily
tell from the story is that the author believes that equality is a bad thing. To end, I believe that
equality is not what we should need one hundred percent but give everyone an equal chance and see
where they take it.
To start, why would equality be so bad? From the first view, equality sounds like a good thing.
Everyone gets equal treatment, pay, etc. But what about when a serial killer gets the same
treatment a veterinarian. How fair would it be for someone who saves animals lives to be treated
the same publically as someone who's murdered, multiple people? After seeing this, equality can
seem fairly split, but there's also a difference, there's equality then there's equity. Equality would be
people treated equal, especially socially and equal opportunities, while equity is definite fairness.
That means people brought down or up to meet the same level. What I believe was exhibited in the
story "Harrison Bergeron", was not equality, but actually equity. This can be seen by them bringing
people down from their abilities or up to meet a standard to make everyone equal. As the story
states, "A little mental handicap radio in his ear. He was required by law to wear it at all times",
that means they are bringing some people down to the same level but at the same time not bringing
people up to that level. "Nobody was stronger or quicker than anybody else", the idea of this, in
theory, seems clever. Everyone equal in every single way, even mentally. But the more the reader
may think of it, they see little holes. There's no drive to get better, no devotion to beat something,
there's just what it is and the reader can't do anything to get

4. Argumentative Essay On Autism
Let's say you have a box of crayons. It represents ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), now inside
the box you have different colors of crayons. Each color/crayon is a different disorder. The color
we want to talk about today is teal, the official color for autism. Stuart Duncan once said, "Autism,
like a rainbow, has a bright side and a dark side and even though it can mean rough waters it can be
beautiful." Autism isn't a label, it's a diagnoses. People with autism can be just as successful as
neurotypical people. People with autism have been the subject of stereotypes and neglect for
decades. Only in the last 150 years or so have things started to change. We don't know what causes
autism, but thanks to increased research and awareness we're making more progress than ever.
People with autism face many challenges everyday, autism is a spectrum. It's not the same for
everyone. Due to it being a spectrum it can be hard for people without autism to understand the
challenges autistic people face, and how to go about interacting with autistic people. There are
lots of autistic people worldwide, it's time we start making them feel more like people. 1 in 68
people in the US have autism, this includes 1 in 189 girls and 1 in 42 boys. Autism is a difference
in perception; technically it's a developmental disorder that is the result of a difference in brain
chemicals. Scientists don't know what causes autism or why it's stayed in the human gene pool for
so long. People with autism could have a wide variety of symptoms, but some of the most common
characteristics are fixations on things they like, reliance on routines, and lack of social skills. Autism
can be formally diagnosed at ages as young as 3. There is no medical test to diagnose autism, rather
a trained professional in the psychology field will perform a developmental screening and a
comprehensive diagnostic evaluation. When a child is diagnosed with autism, therapy is strongly
recommended. The earlier treatment starts the better because certain aspects of the disorder can be
lessened through therapy. Therapy helps the mind and the body, certain therapies can help rebuild
your brain, so to speak. Autistic brains are physically different than neurotypical ones.

5. What Makes An Effective Argument Ineffective?
1.The basic parts of an effective argument are a stated clearly defined issue, makes a claim, and
offers support for that claim. Sometimes an argument may also recognize opposing viewpoints and
incorporate them into the argument
2.What makes an argument ineffective is when using emotional appeals to distract a reader from a
lack of evidence. Also the use of faulty reasoning, and inaccurate facts.
3.An issue is a problem, controversy, or an idea that people can have different viewpoints about.
The term claim is a point in which a writer is trying to prove. This is typically the writer's viewpoint
on the issue. A refutation is recognizing and auguring against opposing viewpoints.

6. Argumentative Essay On Climate Change
Climate change can be traced down to since the mid–1800s, when the industrial revolution first
started taking place all around the world. Lives of human and animal species have been negatively
affected since then, with events such as natural disasters, the melting of ice in polar regions, and
change in weather and living conditions. Climate change in polar regions, in particular, has faced
the most damage compared to any other region because of its location in regard to the sun. Climate
change holds many different views and opinions about the effects, and even the existence itself, but
evidence is clear and unmistakable in global ramifications and local impact in polar regions.
"...Climate change [is] the 'greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people'", skeptics like
Senator Inhofe of Oklahoma like to say. Climate change is change in climate patterns due to an
increase in carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases produced by certain human activity.
According to the National Snow and Ice Data Center, data taken by satellite has shown that the
Arctic cover has decreased by 30% over the past 30 years, and this change, which also include
change in sea ice and permafrost, in artic weather and climate is caused by humans. Although
numerous scientists have confirmed the legitimacy of climate change, there are different views on
whether climate change is real or not. Government officials like Senator Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma or
Senator Marco Rubio of Florida have explicitly stated that they do not believe climate change is
neither real, nor caused by humans (Tom McCarthy, 2014). On the other hand, mainstream media
and other media outlets, such as The Independent and The Economist, have reported their findings
of climate change and its legitimacy. The Independent (Conner, S. 2011) reported that records of
these changes were taken by military submarines, land measurements, and satellite data to prove ice
in polar regions are melting faster and faster. Satellites have tracked sea ice since the 1970s and by
nuclear submarines since the Cold War,
according to Peter Wadhams of Cambridge University and it was predicted that by September
2015, there would be no more sea ice. (Conner, S. 2011). Luckily, sea ice has not

7. Argument Reflection Paper
Thank you for reaching out to me about this. I am ecstatic to hear that you enjoyed your time at the
camp, and that you are attempting to apply what you learned there in everyday life. First off, there
is no need to beat yourself up about not understanding how to analyze everyday arguments. The
types of arguments we use on a daily basis rarely follow the patterns that we taught you classify
them by, so it is understandable that you might get confused when trying to analyze them. That
being said, understanding how to deal with these arguments would be a very useful thing to know,
so I am going to try my best to help you strengthen the three main skills of critical thinking. Which,
of course, you know to be analyzing an argument, evaluating the premises for relevance, and
evaluating the premises for truth. I am going to go step by step through an example of an everyday
argument, which I have attached to this email, so that I can hopefully help you with your problem.
We are going to first start with an analysis of the argument. Just to make it a little easier to
understand, I am going to split this analysis into two parts. This first part is simple going to involve
a surface analysis of the argument. We will determine the issue, conclusion, and premises. The
second part will involve a somewhat deeper analysis. This will include diagraming the argument and
determining the line of reasoning for each argument and sub argument. Determining if they are
inductive/deductive and the

8. Argumentative Essay On Renewable Energy
Renewability
For nearly everyone on earth, fossil fuels are a part of our daily lives. Some of the more obvious
places to find petroleum products would be gas and diesel in cars and trucks, but it is in more than
just your tank. Without fossil fuels, we would not have things such as plastic to make a wide
variety of things such as tires, kayaks, or even computers. The question remains, do we need fossil
fuels?
In this day and age, we have new energy sources that could be used to power our homes and
transportation. Wind and solar power are used all over the world, but are still used far less than
fossil fuels. Most would say it's not reliable or it doesn't make any profit. While both statements are
true, it doesn't mean we can't make a better future using renewable energy. In fact, the only reason
we don't use renewables for everything is that we don't want to change. The hard truth is we need to
change. Fossil fuels are great right now, but if we run out, humanity must have another source of
energy.
Renewable energy may seem like a daunting task, but the benefits to humanity could be incredible.
Public uses of renewable energy range from transportation all the way to heating and cooling.
Everything we use could become less explosive and less expensive. Cities with a high concentration
of people could become safer and healthier places to live. Transportation could be converted to
electricity dramatically, improving smog conditions. Global warming may or may not

9. Texting While Driving Argumentative Essay
Argumentative Essay Many accidents are blamed on distracted driving and most of the
distractions are caused by cell phone usage. However, some opponents feel that creating a law
against cell phone use infringes their personal rights. Others think that banning someone from
using their cell phones is equivalent to telling someone that they can't adjust their radio or chat
with someone else in their car. However, using a cell phone, whether talking or texting, while
driving can be extremely dangerous; it should be made illegal because it is very hazardous to
yourself and the people surrounding you, can lead to the death of loved ones, and it is even
compared to the danger level of drunk driving. No matter what age the driver is, under no...show

In the article, "Dead Girl's Parents Warn Students to Buckle Up and Stop Texting," shows that
texting while driving is hazardous and very real when Alex Brown, age 17, died due to result of
texting while driving while not wearing a seatbelt. The parents of Alex Brown, Johhny Mac and
Jeanne Brown, appeared in front of an audience of hundreds of Clyde middle and high school
students, to educate young people about Alex's accident and how easily it could have been
prevented. Texting while driving impacts the lives of those around you. A single distraction while
driving, as small and simple it may seem such as texting, can lead to the death of loved ones. Not
only is texting while behind the wheel bad enough itself, many people compare the danger level to
drunk driving. Driving while intoxicated at the same time is illegal, just as some believe texting
while driving should be as well. Larry Copeland states that after a study was conducted at The
University of Utah, it showed that driving with a blood–alcohol content of 0.08% is equal to texting
and driving. If people were more aware of how closely related texting while driving and drunk
driving are, it would help to inform all drivers on safety behind the wheel. Not only are distracted
drivers harming themselves, yet they are putting every other driver on the road in the same
dangerous position without realizing it. Texting while driving puts many driver's lives in danger daily.

10. Argumentative Essay On Organ Donation
The medical industry had been achieving more in the stage of medical advancements, though they
are still in the early phase. Artificial organs have been one of those achievements. Although they
have achieved such, artificial organs are not perfect. Most doctors as well as patients would prefer
to replace a dying organ with a compatible human organ, rather than with an artificial or animal
organ. Yet due to a there being less organs donated than recipients, artificial and animal organs are
becoming more common in transplants. Most of this issue is because people are unaware of how
organ donation works, the organs that can be donated, how many people are in need, and the
advancements that have happened in the field. Organ donation saves hundreds of lives every year,
but many lives are recklessly lost due to a shortage of organ donors.
Organ donation is the medical process of voluntarily giving one or more of your organs to
someone in need, whether it be someone you know or a stranger. It is strictly voluntary, no
payment for the organ/s will be given from the hospital, the recipient or the recipients family. In
organ donation, there are two types of donations, living organ donation and deceased organ
donation. Living organ donation is when the donor is still alive and voluntarily chooses to donate
one or more of their organs to a recipient(s) in need. Whereas, deceased organ donation happens
after the donor has passed away, and consent was given to be able to donate their organs.
In living organ donation, before a donor can donate there are tests administrated to see if the donor is
suitable to donate. There is an evaluation of the donor done to make sure that no physical,
psychological, or emotional harm will happen to them before, during, or after donating
(Organdonor.gov U.S. Government Information on Organ Donation and Transplantation). In living
organ donation, most donations happen within family members, or between close friends, although
there are stranger donations that happen. Living organ donors should generally be physically fit, in
good health, and between the ages of 18 to 60. They should not have a history or have diabetes,
cancer, high blood pressure, kidney disease, or heart disease

Value Claim Outline
Claim
Underage drinking, especially under the age of 21, is not allowed in the United States, because it is
unsafe for teenagers. When it comes to health problems and other dangers, alcohol can be taken
under poor situations where it can be overly used or misused. Alcohol is a substance that is very risky
and if used incorrectly or immaturely, the effects can be dangerous to the users and the people
around them. Allowing 18 year olds to consume alcohol would be bad for their health and life.
Support
"In one study, 37 percent of eighth grade females who drank heavily reported attempting suicide,
compared with 11 percent who did not drink" (NIH)
Lowering the drinking age to 18 would allow more teenagers under the age of 18 to get their
hands on alcohol. Survey shows that 18 to 20 year olds get access to alcohol through their 21 to
24 year old friends, so if the age is lowered to down to 18, 15 to 17 year olds would start drinking
alcohol. Drinking alcohol is not something kids or teenagers should be allowed to drink just
because they want to relax or have fun. Teenagers are more likely to be peer pressured into drinking
alcohol because it is the "cool" thing people are doing. Drinking alcohol has serious effects on the
human body and consuming too much can be dangerous to your health and life. From childhood to

12. Example Of An Argument
ii) What is an argument? Elaborate with examples. In everyday life, people use argument to
connote a squabble between people. But in critical thinking and logic, an argument is a list of
statements, which consist of two or more premises or assumptions and a conclusion of the
argument. To accord an argument is to provide a set of premises as reasons for giving credence to
the conclusion and not necessarily to attack or criticise someone. Arguments can also be a tool to
underpin other people's opinions.
Here is an example of an argument:
If you want to find a good job, you should study smart
You do want a good job
So, you should study smart.
The first two sentences are the premises of the argument and the final sentence is the conclusion. To

Therefore, the patient does not have malaria.
Referring back to the criteria that has to be fulfilling to produce a valid argument, the given
example obeys the criteria with a true premise which leads to a true conclusion. This is how a valid
argument is identified. For valid arguments, the addition of extra premises will not change the
conclusion. A valid conclusion is deduced from a set of premises can never be changed by the
addition of new premises.
b)Invalid arguments
If an argument is invalid, then it is possible for a false conclusion even though all the premises are
true. It is logically possible for the premises to be true and the conclusion false.
Here is an example of an invalid argument:
All actors are robots
Johny Dep is a robot.
Therefore, Johny Dep is an actor.
Now, if these premises are true, it does not follow that Johny Dep is an actor. It would follow if we
mention that only actors are robots in the premises, but it does not say that. We can assume that
anyone in the acting ccupation is a robot, but robots might be doing different jobs besides acting.
So, the fact that Johny Dep is a robot does not guarantee that he is also an

13. Argumentative Essay On Poverty
Thousands of individuals are living in poverty. Why is it that this worldwide dilemma is still
rising in rapid numbers till this day? Is it because of a lack of authoritative power, or a lack of
one's self control to do good? Despite the unknown cause, it has managed to drastically affect the
lives of many. Poverty is like a curse, one that is wrongfully placed, difficult to get out of, and
resistant to many forms of help. The pinpoint cause of poverty is challenging to find. People who
live well off and are above the poverty line may be quick to assume that laziness, addiction, and
the typical stereotypes are the causes of poverty. Barbara Ehrenreich, a well known writer on
social issues, brings attention to the stereotypical ideology at her time, that "poverty was caused,
not by low wages or a lack of jobs, but by bad attitudes and faulty lifestyles" (17). Ehrenreich is
emphasizing the fact that statements like the one listed, often influence readers to paint
inaccurate mental pictures of poverty that continue to shine light on the ideology of stereotypes
being the pinpoint cause to poverty. However, there are many other causes that are often
overshadowed, leaving some individuals to believe that poverty was wrongfully placed upon
them. Examples would include: high rates of unemployment, low paying jobs, race, and health
complications. Which are all out of one's ability to control. There is no control over a lack of jobs
and high rates of unemployment, nor the amount of inadequate wages the working poor receive.
Greg Kaufmann, an advisor for the Economic Hardship Reporting Project and The Half in Ten
campaign, complicates matters further when he writes, "Jobs in the U.S. [were] paying less than
$34,000 a year: 50 percent. Jobs in the U.S. [were] paying below the poverty line for a family of
four, less than $23,000 annually: 25 percent" (33). Acknowledging Kaufmann's fact, the amount
received for a family of four is fairly close to the yearly salary of a high school graduate, which
means, receiving that kind of pay for one man may seem challenging, now imagine caring for the
needs of four individuals. To make matters worse, certain families receive that amount of money and
carry the burden of paying for

14. Argumentative Essay On Online Dating
Over the past decade, online dating popularity has increase drastically. Even though the younger
generation of society is in the transition from traditional to modern dating, people of all ages are
beginning to test the modern way of communicating: online dating. Many people are curious if
online dating is the best way to search for a partner in today's society. Is online dating actually the
most successful way to find "the one"? Many people do not feel comfortable admitting that they
participate in online dating simple because they are unsure of how society will judge them. Society
is gradually becoming aware of the idea and accepting the newest form of dating and courting. How
successful is this modern dating and how does it compare to traditional dating techniques? The world
is such an enormous place, making traditional dating difficult to meet the number of people which
online dating sites provide (Nicholson, 2014). Individuals may access partners with specific interests
that may include lifestyle, personality, and orientation (Nicholson, 2014). A variety of dating sites
offer matching tests, which theoretically help connect two individuals quicker than if they searched
with the traditional method (Nicholson, 2014). People realize how effortless it is to search for a
partner and immediately fall in love with the process. Online dating provides the opportunity for
individuals to gain more personal information about the person prior to meeting face to face

15. Argumentative Essay On Artificial Intelligence
Artificial Intelligence is a topic within the public media that has existed for decades, but is now a
concern due to the reality of human advancement and innovation in the field of science and
technology. Many people believe that computers will become self–aware or sentient and view
humanity as a disposable resource and gain supremacy. Reasoning that research on the technology
should halt and not become more advance. Whereas others believe they will help catapult research
and the economy forward, supporting the operations and innovations the technology offers. The
complicated and divided solutions to the debate aren't obvious, but there are more benefits to
improving artificial intelligence than there is stopping it. Therefore, the negative effects people
believe will occur can be resolved. There are different types of artificial intelligence that many
institutes and companies believe in. However, they all share the same belief of a self–aware,
conscious, human–like, computer system, the type of AI people fear. Disregarding that an AI is a
computer much like a phone or laptop, one must consider that if something is sentient like a person
or animal, should they be treated like one? And if not, is it discrimination or racism when it is
treated like an item? Slavery treated people based on race or social status differently, the bottom
being slaves. Some might argue that machines don't have a "soul" or aren't alive. There are hundreds

Mental health is a serious topic that is often not taken seriously. Due to my own struggles with

illness can make everyday life feel unbearable and can have just as serious of an effect on a person
as a physical illness. The causes of increasing mental health problems in college students are
numerous, and it will take work from both students and universities to overcome this problem, but
change is necessary for the health of U.S. college students. There is no simple answer to what
causes mental health problems in college students, as factors differ for every person. There are,

Awareness. Many people are unaware of the symptoms of mental illness and therefore are not able
to spot them in themselves or others. Unfortunately, there is a problem when it comes to educating
people on mental health. People don't want to talk about mental health problems. They are afraid of
mental illness and therefore avoid the topic. There is also a stigma in society that those with mental
illness are in control of their disabilities so they are told to "change their thinking" rather than to
seek medical help. This stigma and ignorance of mental illness symptoms often means that people
struggling with mental health problems do not get help until they are at a point of crisis. Students
and colleges need to work to break the stigma and spread awareness so that those struggling with
mental health problems can get help as soon as they feel their mental health declining and it does
not have to get to a point where they feel they cannot handle life. Most colleges have student health

17. Argumentative Essay On Minimum Wage
Minimum wage
Minimum wage has caused controversy throughout history between the two parties in government,
the Democrats and Republicans, debating if they should increase minimum wage or not. Minimum
wage was first established during 1938 under President Franklin D. Roosevelt (Sessions). The first
act to enforce employers to pay its employees is the Fair Labor Standards Act which followed the
Social Security Act (Sessions). Minimum wage started as twenty–five (25) cents per hour which
doesn't seem like a lot, but it was at that time (Sessions). The United States tended to raise the
minimum wage when the standard of living changed. Since 1938, two other amendments were
created to increase minimum wage laws even more. By 1961, minimum wage raised to $1.15 with
another increase in 1963 (wages). Since the 1963 wage change, minimum wage created a trend of
increasing yearly or every other year (Wages). From 2007 to 2009 minimum wage increased each
year making the current minimum wage $7.25 (wages). Sine minimum wage has been established,
Congress has increased minimum wage twenty–two times (22) (). Since minimum wage is supposed
to change when the standard of living changes, then why hasn't the United States government
changed it since 2009?
Minimum wages laws fluctuate throughout all fifty (50) states. The federal government has
minimum wage set at $7.25. Although the government has the law in place, states and cities must
right to increase the minimum wage, but they are not allowed to decrease the value below the
federal law. According to Caplinger, there are about twenty– one (21) states that have a minimum
wage higher than the national level. These states that have higher minimum wage tend to have a
higher population. For example, California, as a state, has decided to increase their minimum
wage law due to the standard of living. This law to raise minimum wage to ¬¬¬$10.50 in
California is in progress to take effect in January 2018(Kravosky). Some cities within states, can
create their own minimum wage. Cities create these minimum wages based on the population size,
cost of living, and size of the city. For example, Atlanta, Georgia has a minimum wage of $15 an
hour but the state of Georgia has minimum wage set

"The only truly secure system is one that is powered off, cast in a block of concrete and sealed in a
lead–lined room with armed guards."(Spafford). The word privacy has become a buzz word in the
current decade compared to how it used to be talked about in the last decade. As we all are aware
of the recent happenings around the world with regards to privacy, we all should be worried that
nothing is safe in the times we are living in, as every bit of information is getting snatched
somehow or the other through different channels. This information can be something that is related
to our personal, family or professional life. I believe that individual privacy outweighs money or
anything at this moment in the world right now. If we lose money or property, we can regain it
somehow, but if we lose our personal information to someone or an agency, it's challenging to get it
back before it gets misused.
Danial J. Solove is an eminent author and a law professor at University of George Washington law
school. Dr. Solove introduces the article why privacy matters if you have "Nothing to Hide" in an
interesting way that, In his introduction of the eassy, he puts a valid question to the audience
regarding their current privacy standards. He starts off this article by presenting the views of
various people on the most debated topic around the world at present which is "Nothing to Hide."
All throughout the article, Solove tries to make an argument both in a positive and negative tone. He
also supports his arguments with so many valid examples that, it makes you wonder, which side of
the coin he stands.
Firstly, after seeing the collective inferences made by the people in the initial paragraphs of the
article, Solove explains us in which form should we look at the argument "Nothing to Hide." If we
extremely see the argument, for example, If a person says he has nothing to hide, another person
comes and means, since you have nothing to hide can I take a nude picture of yours and show it to
everyone which is an extreme form of taking that argument. Dr.Solove feels that taking an argument

19. An Argument Essay About Discrimination
Argument Essay
Some may say discrimination in America is a thing in the past, but is this a true statement? Are men
and women always seen and treated as equals in our new and reformed nation? I am sure there are
many debates out there proving or disproving this potential issue, but one in particular has caught
my eye. Our military is made up of many different sections, and the men and women who were
brave enough to raise their right hand and enlist in the service were given a skill to master
resulting in a job to perform up to the highest standard. The military has many job offerings, ranging

are still not answered, however, we continue to see drastic weather changes to Earth. We must go
beyond the arguments and learn as much as we can to stop what could possibly lead to the
destruction of our planet, our way of life and our future.
Global warming is concerned with an average increase in the temperature of the atmosphere and the
increase in the Earth 's surface temperature primarily due to the emission of greenhouse gases from
the burning of fossil fuels. As for the processes of global warming, they can occur from a variety of
causes. The causes include the things that are concerned with natural and human factors.
Some people believe that global warming is a myth or hoax. They believe that global warming is
being used to generate fear and panic and that those behind this movement are using it to control
people 's lives and for financial gain. "Within the community of scientists and others concerned about
anthropogenic climate change, those who are skeptics are more commonly termed
