An example of good practice in inclusion in employment from Slovenia, shared at the Day Centres Without Walls conference, hosted by JDC in Lithuania. Day Centres Without Walls is an Erasmus+ project funded by the EU.

2.  NOW: Most of our ex-students are included in VDC (CWC: care-work
centre). This is segregation way of working.
 PROJECT:
With our project we are trying to show the possibility of employing
people with special needs (mental disorders, authism, cerabral paralisy)
in a ordinary working space, with certain adjustments

3. Adjustments at workspaces:
 working time adjustments (shorter working days, only one day a week)
 always working with a mentor
 work environment adjustments

 expansion of their social contacts
 working on inidvidual's strong points: to every individual a specific
transition plan is made in which his strong and weak points are
included along goals and a plan to reach the goals.
 Students are included in local environment
 we are encouriging lifelong learning
 we are looking for extordinary ways of employment, we would like to
transfer all of the already established forms from other countries (work
in a shop - putting things into bags).
