Daily activities

1. MY SCHOOL, YOUR
SCHOOL

2. 1ST HOUR
Monday and Friday: We have homeroom.
Homeroom is like study hall, we catch up on
work and watch KLAK (explained later)

3. 1ST HOUR
Tuesday-Thursday: ACI (Area Of Career Interest) We took a test in 7th grade
to see which careers we had the most interest in. now we pick an ACI that fits
our interest. I'm In Art ACI. We working on painting all the blank walls in the
school!!

4. 2ND HOUR: SCIENCE
Science is so much fun, we learn all of the 8th
grade objectives and do active projects and
experiments.

5. 3RD HOUR: ENGLISH
3rd hour I have english, we do a lot of projects and lots of
seminars. Seminars are basically like discussions or
arguments. We talk about the books were reading or just
common problems. Right now our class book is the
outsiders.

6. 4TH HOUR: PHYSICAL
EDUCATION
4th hour I have P.E. We play a lot of different games, a lot involve dodgeball.
We do fitness testing often as well.

7. INTERVENTIONS
8th graders go to interventions while seventh graders go to lunch
interventions are for kids that need to help in class if you don't need help in
class you go to a room to read.

8. LUNCH!!!
All though no school food is actually delicious, all the students still love lunch
it's a time to bond with friends. We get to use electronics and depending on
our attendance records we get treats.

9. 5TH HOUR
5th hour I have history, History is interesting, I used to think it was really
boring but since I got to the middle school it's been a lot more fun.

10. 6TH HOUR
I have Algebra. Algebra is a freshman class but you can take it in middle
school if you pass a math test.

11. 7TH HOUR
7th hour I have computers. We do tons of projects and fun social stuff.
Including talking with other counties (you!!)

12. 7TH HOUR SECOND SEMESTER
I have woodshop, It kinda sounds weird for girls to take this class but it's
actually extremely fun!

13. 8TH HOUR
8th hour is so much fun, I have art once again. We do so many hands on
messy projects. Everyone that joins ends up loving it.

14. SPORTS
Our school is very competitive in sports. The middle school has volleyball,
football, cross country, dance, cheer, wrestling, basketball, and track. It's a
lot of fun to participate in laker sports.

15. LAKER SPIRIT
We have lots of ways lakers show there spirit, we have parades, laker days
and a mascot.

16. VARSITY FOOTBALL
Lakers are big on there football. Friday nights at the stadium are packed
with screaming fans.

17. TRIPS
Our school takes tons of trips,
such a Washington D.C, New York
and Saint Louis.

18. CLUBS
Our school participates in lots of clubs
. From art to robotics we have it all

19. CHEER/ DANCE
Our cheerleaders travel everywhere, there nice and Loud from head to bow!
Our dance team performs a dance at every varsity game!
