1.  As a community it is open and flexible as social media services

InnoOmnia.fi start-up

Modular Drupal-based content management system
    -  open source (Open Atrium)
    -  thousands ready-made modules
    -  requires some tailored construction
    -  administration mainly without specific software expertise
Resources
   -  inhouse workforce: 0.5
   -  students involved as learning on-the-job and
      doing their final project
   -  external specialist putting up the service
   -  external help 1 day/month

InnoOmnia.fi goals 1.  As a community it is open and flexible as social media services 2.  As it is self-maintained, it is easy to tailor the tools&services 3.  The students are initiated to the process from the very beginning 4.  Openness enables wide connection outside the organization and staying in contact after the studies

InnoOmnia.fi start-up Modular Drupal-based content management system -  open source (Open Atrium) -  thousands ready-made modules -  requires some tailored construction -  administration mainly without specific software expertise Resources -  inhouse workforce: 0.5 -  students involved as learning on-the-job and doing their final project -  external specialist putting up the service -  external help 1 day/month Schedule -  planning Sept – Oct 2010 -  opening Dec 2010 – Jan 2011 -  piloting spring 2011, broader use term 2011–12
