 Process Technology - the processes and
 technologies required to transform a quantity of
 raw materials into other products.
Common Operations Within the
Process Industries

1.   Raw materials are made available to a
     process facility.
2.   Raw materials are sorted.
3.   Raw materials are processed.
4.   A product (output) is created.
5.   Product is distributed to consumers.

What a Process Technician Does

 Process  technicians are responsible for
 planning, analyzing, and controlling the
 production of products from the acquisition of
 raw materials through the production and
 distribution of products to customers.
Process Technician Duties

 Monitoring and controlling process equipment
 Assisting with equipment maintenance
 Troubleshooting and problem solving
 Communicating and working with others
 Performing administrative duties
 Performing with a focus on safety, health,
  environment and security.
