2. So now that you have created your first HTML 5 to-do app, it is time to create an Android App for the
same. Here are the steps for the same:
Download Java JDK and install java in your computer. You must download the correct version
otherwise there will be problems.
1. Go to your C: drive. If you see, 2 Program Files folders, then you have a 64 bit computer
and you can download this
2. If you see 1 "Program Files" folder, then you have a 32 bit system and you can download
this
2. Download Android ADT Bundle. Once again, depending on your system whether it is 32 bit or 64
bit, download the right folder from
here: http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html#download
3. Now open adtBundleeclipse folder and start eclipse.exe .
4. Close the Welcome window.
1.
3. 5. Now right click on the panel on the left which says "Navigator". Click "import".
6. Choose the phonegapapp folder (phonegapapp). CLick Ok and then finish.
5. 8. Connect your Android phone with your computer. Put it in debug mode. Now click the green
button. If everything goes well, your app should now install in your phone.
6. 9. If you don't have an Android phone, you can run the app using an Android virtual machine. You
will need to create one using the AVM manager.
7. 10. Click on the new button on the next screen. Give it a name (without spaces) and choose your
virtual machine. Click ok.
11. Now go ahead and run your app on the AVM. Congratulations! Your HTML 5 Based Android App
is now complete!
