developed in 1983 by Dr. Howard Gardner,
professor of education at Harvard University.

multiple number of abilities which helps an
individual to solve problems, create products
and discover new knowledge.
He identified 8 types of intelligence

It is the capacity to analyze problems
logically, carry out mathematical operations,
and investigate issues scientifically. This
intelligence is most often associated with
scientific and mathematical thinking.

the ability to analyse the situation and create
different mental images to retain information. It
is the ability to manipulate objects on space.
7. 4. Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence
It is the capacity of an individual to use
one’s whole body or parts of the body to
solve problems. It is the ability to use
mental abilities to coordinate bodily
movements..

composition, and appreciation of musical
patterns. It encompasses the capacity to
recognize and compose musical pitches,
tones, and rhythms.
