Communication is,
• a process – ongoing, changing, continuous
• dynamic – active, forceful
• interactive – between people, two-way process
• transactional– simultaneously sending/receiving messages
• symbolic – symbols to represent ideas
• intentional – with some purpose
• contextual – dependent on the context
• ubiquitous – everywhere, done by everyone, at all times
• cultural – culture-bound
