This document announces a 5-day training course on EMI/EMC from August 22nd to 26th. The course will cover topics including EMI sources and measurement equipment, EMI standards and testing procedures, EMI analysis and suppression techniques like filtering, shielding and PCB layout guidelines. Participants are asked to route their nominations through their IS and HR departments by August 20th. The training will be led by an experienced instructor with over 25 years of experience in electronics, electrical and power electronics fields.

1. Objective

To understand the effects of EMI/EMC in Electrical Systems. Awareness on EMI-related units, regulations and legislations.
To identify possible EMI sources and become familiar with the use of EMI Test and Measuring Equipment's and
Accessories, To learn typical test setups for carrying out conducted and radiated interference and immunity test. To
design EMI filter and know the concepts of PCB layout considerations for EMI mitigation. Familiarize with different

Emission (RE/CE) Standards. International and regional standards.
• Basic, generic and product standards. Radiated and Conducted Immunity (RI/CI)
